We have been going to Gilbert for a couple of years now. My hubby retired 7.1.22. Gilbert made our transition easy. Let us know what we need to get together, Stocks assets et cetera. Once together, he put it into a plan that makes so much sense. I'm definitely pleased. read more

My family and I work with one of the founders Gilbert Cerda for the last 3 years. Gil has allowed us to better plan financially- from budgeting, taxes, investment strategy, to overall financial health - Gilbert and his team were there. We have then been able to graduate to be able to optimize our investment portfolio. We are saving more and putting our money to work. Gilbert and his team are warm and attentive but the best thing I like about Cerda Advisors, aside from being a Trojan, is the level of trust I have for them and knowing they are doing whats best for me and my family. That's priceless. I highly recommend. read more

Its a tremendous relief to know I can trust them. read more

I am very grateful to Gilbert. Gilbert educated me on how to properly manage and use money. I had lots of preconceived notions on investing that have been corrected. I've referred lots if my friends because I'm extremely happy with his professionalism and his knowledge of his job. He's helped me with money management, budgeting, investing and even my taxes (I'm self employed and they get crazy). read more

Finding and Hiring (yes, they work for you!) a trustworthy financial advisor that puts you first and not the commission they are getting on the back end from one of their many vendors is DIFFICULT. I want to share my story on how I found my advisors My first encounter with Cerda Munoz Advisors was at 3rd St Coffee. As I prepared my coffee, their business card was on the wall with the other thousand businesses in Downey. The card caught my attention as it looked like it had a halo logo so I wasn't sure if this was some sort of fellowship or life skills business. Regardless, I decided to do some research and realized they provide advice on managing your wealth. Ironically that same week I got a letter from my previous employer regarding my 401k and immediately I remembered Cerda Munoz Advisors and decided to schedule an appointment to discuss rolling over my 401k. On my initial consultation I met with Gilbert Cerda. Gilbert started the appointment by discussing exactly who they were, how they handle your business (and theirs), and most importantly the fees involved. Needless to say, within the first few minutes I realized how transparent Gilbert Cerda was. Gilbert talked about his family, his goals, Company philosophy and investment strategies. (he doesn't know this but) My ONLY expectation that day was to determine his transparency. Once I felt like I knew exactly what was going on, I began to make room for some Trust. So... I decided to take the information he shared and made a 2nd appointment two weeks later. But.... During that time I went to my primary bank and discussed rolling over my 401k. The appointment was a complete disappointment. I figured the bank representative should be able to provide the same or better information than a small local business. However, the transparency was not present (non-existent). Majority of the appointment was about the bank and never about my goals. Long story longer, I decided to hire Cerda Munoz Advisors for the mere fact that they are Transparent, Knowledgeable, Trustworthy and they made me feel empowered to make my own decisions. I would recommend you visit Cerda Munoz Advisors whether you are a seasoned investor or barely beginning to save for retirement. read more

I've known and worked with Gil for over 5 years, and his professionalism, passion and honesty is unmatched. I originally approached him for general advise, when I wasn't quite ready to concentrate on investment strategies. He advised willingly, and offered to guide me through them when I became ready, and a short while later, we began to invest on my ROTH IRA. I was impressed by his detailed knowledge of all the different diversification approaches, because they're difficult to navigate. Gil takes what most matters to me seriously and along with his associates, they make it all easy to understand. But most importantly, Cerda Muñoz Advisors make it possible to trust that your investments and long term goals are in good hands. read more

Wendy and Karla were very welcoming upon our arrival and immediately offered water and coffee. The lobby area is really clean and they have a keurig machine too (for all the coffee lovers). Gilbert was very helpful and explained any questions my husband and I had, which we had many. He was very professional and we'll be setting up an appointment very soon to discuss other financial and investment planning. I highly recommend this place to anyone, these people really know their stuff. read more

Gilbert has been a great fit for our family's financial planning needs. He is easy going, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and has really helped guide us and understand the decisions we're making. Some areas he has helped guide us through include 401k investments, life / disability insurance, college savings (529), and learning about the stock market. We know he is looking out for our best interest and takes the time to understand our goals. We look forward to working with him for many more years. Also, another plus, is how amazing the front office staff is. I look forward to Karla's warm welcomes every time I visit. I have personally had the pleasure in working directly with Gilbert Cerda in filing my taxes for a few years now and have been extremely satisfied with the services his office provides. Not only CerdaMuñoz Advisors assist with an IRS audit from a precious year, due to the incomplete tax preparation from a previous tax preparer I religiously went to, but they explain in detail my tax returns and ask all the right questions. I'm confident any new client would be extremely pleased with their services and engage in all other financial services they provide. Thank you again for the excellent experience, time after time. read more

There is so much I love about this firm. Gilbert and Aaron have handled my modest retirement portfolio for over five years. In that time I've come to know they are knowledgeable and I depend on their sound judgment concerning my funds. They are professional but caring. They have taken the time to get to know me and what and who is important in my life. Their communication is top notch. They maintain a great website and the firm's Facebook page is filled with good, current and very interesting posts. Gilbert has been wonderful and keeping in touch with me during these volatile times in the stock market and keeping me calm! The team is gracious and generous with their time never making me feel like an imposition when I have questions or concerns. And, they respond quickly. I just love that Gilbert and Aaron give back to the community. They participate in career days at local high schools as well as mentoring high school students. I feel so blessed to have found this firm. Thanks to them I am a happy carefree and fulfilled retiree! read more
