Edward is the best! Stop searching for a a tax preparer and come here!…read more I was behind on filing my taxes (yes, I know it's October!) and was having a hard time finding the "perfect" place to help me file them quickly and hassle free. Of course, I was also looking to see who would be able to help me maximize my savings and not charge me an arm and a leg for being late in the year + doing multiple years at once. I found MacTax Solutions via Yelp after submitting a project request. My request was simple, I said what l needed and asked for price estimates based on my situation as well as asked a couple of questions. Edward from MacTax Solutions was the first to respond to my request and he provided me with everything I requested plus more! He gave me an estimated quote based on what I had provided but he also asked me additional questions to make sure I was getting the help I actually needed. He also gave me the option to continue remotely or in person! Once we got the details settled, Edward confirmed again the pricing and I was all set to continue. I decided to do the remote option and it truly made my whole experience a great one. I was able to submit all my required paperwork through their secure app where I also had access to seeing the forms he was completing for me. He was very communicative with me throughout the whole process and even walked me through all the paperwork over the phone before payment was even requested. The reason I chose them was due to all the other businesses not offering me any estimated pricing or even acknowledging my requests. All other places (and I'm not exaggerating) sent me basic and generic messages asking me to either call them to schedule an appointment or to let them know what day/time I could go into their office. Look no further and give them a try! I definitely found my place moving forward and will recommend them to my friends and family.

I've been coming to A&A Accounting for a couple of years. Unfortunately, I didn't come to this…read morelocation because I found it on a Yelp search. Prior to A&A coming into my life, I was a loyal client to A1 Accounting. Sadly, the owner passed away and the business was sold. I panicked for a bit but A&A picked up their old clients. Also, Silvia, who did my taxes at A1 also moved to this location. So basically, I was going to continue working with the same tax preparer as before. My previous tax documents also transferred over to this location. This made the transition very smooth for me. A&A Accounting is located in the city of Downey. They are situated on the corner of Rives and Firestone Blvd. You'll find it tucked in the corner of a small two story shopping center. The parking lot is small so it might be easier to just park at Stater Brothers Market next door. They have plenty of parking and it's easier to enter and exit the lot. Anyway, as stated before, I came here due to the passing of my previous tax preparer. So I've been working with Silvia for years and wouldn't go to anyone else. We've established a good rapport and she always asks the right questions to make sure that I'm not forgetting to claim anything. We talk about the new tax laws and how that affects my current situation. She has a wealth of knowledge and I'm grateful to still have her as my tax preparer. There are several people in the office that will prepare your taxes for you. I prefer to work with Silvia because she is meticulous about her work. My mom works with Hrant but I don't know much about him. However, she says that she's great and appreciates what he does for her. I come to A&A Accounting because they always take care of their clients. They are very helpful and will always give you the best advice. I live 40 miles away from this place but I continue to come back to get my taxes done at this location. Their tax preparation fees and quality of service can't be beat!
