I am reiterating the many reviews here about customer service, but adding on about the insanity of their previous new patient visit policy. This review is not about my doctor, who I actually thought was great. In a nutshell, I was told that I needed to come in TWICE as a new patient -- once to get my blood drawn and then a second appointment two weeks later to meet with the doctor about those blood results. Surprise, surprise, though ... my insurance doesn't cover TWO annual visits. Which, I'm assuming, this office knows. Being that, you know, they are a doctor's office dealing with health insurance. So when my $200 bill arrived, I called the office and spoke with three different people before being told that the office manager, Liz, would call me back. After playing phone tag for about two weeks (during which I would be put on hold for at least 10 minutes every single time I called her back, only to be told she wasn't available and that I should feel lucky that she was even calling me back at all because she doesn't normally do that .. literally that's what one receptionist told me), I give up. You win, New West. I'll pay my ridiculous $200 (for a two-visit policy that, by the way, they no longer follow ... I WONDER WHY), take my business elsewhere and leave this review in the hopes that no one else gets duped. read more

Been coming here for my yearly physical for a few years. This year I got charged a small out of pocket that should be 100% covered by insurance. I have called their billing and their office for over a month now. No one calls me back. Every time I call they say it's billing's issue. Billing says its an office issue. At this point I will probably end up eating the out of pocket and just find a new office and stop wasting my time. read more

I need to attach the recording Yelp won't let me. Dawn Bishop & Tina Krause are ABUSIVE to the patients. The recordings from today November 28th, 2018 will be emailed to the doctors who work there in a few mins.The doctors I have never met! I cannot get in to the clinic. Only saw Erin once. Dr. Scott Clemens is Dawn Bishop's boss. Joanna Freedman is Tina Klause's boss. I will have the recording on my You Tube. It will be listed under Colorado doctors. I am also sending it to the major I insurance companies. They BOTH acted odd like this a year ago when I went to see Erin. read more

The assertion I made that this office is lacking in customer service and unwilling to listen to feedback or otherwise problem-solve to find healthy and helpful solutions to complex medical needs was proved this morning by its presumed reporting of my previous review as inappropriate. As a result, my opinion of this office is now further tarnished, to the point I've invested additional time writing this subsequent review. For those considering this office as a match for your health needs, ask if you want to affiliate with an office more concerned with its online reputation than the welfare of its patients. Instead, shouldn't positive patient experiences organically shape the online presence? Here's detail on my experience since writing a one-star review late last week. 3/8/18 or 3/9/18: Without compromising HIPPA or patient privacy, I wrote and posted a 314-word review expressing issues my family has experienced with this particular office in the New West network (I am a Care Partner of a patient). It was a one-star review which concerned issues related to customer service, insensitivity to individual patient needs, lack of interested in progress (or not) of patients receiving home health care or inpatient care in a hospital or rehab, and unwillingness to listen to feedback or otherwise problem-solve to find healthy and helpful solutions to complex medical needs. Weekend: Barb responded as the business owner, asked me to call because my review (which was/is not the only negative one on Yelp) didn't jive with the overwhelmingly positive statistics she explained as representative of 95% of patients. 3/11/18: My review was updated with an additional 60 words stating ""95% of patients..." is misleading," and suggested Barb meant "95% of survey respondents..." 3/12/18: I received an email from Yelp indicating my review was inappropriate and that moderators removed it because it didn't include enough detail. I was invited to share more about my experiences to support my conclusions about the business in a new review, which I'm doing now. Additionally, to be sure they had not changed since I was a Yelp Elite member, I reviewed the Content Guidelines. My initial review didn't even press up against the boundaries of those guidelines--totally in the clear. I also reviewed the guidelines pertaining to Reporting an Inappropriate Review--also in the clear there. Here I'll digress to share that I have more than two decades experience implementing integrated communication strategies for a variety of business of all sizes. An early adopter to digital platforms, I have deep experience in the realm of social media, including establishing and maintaining Yelp accounts for clients. With this, I have absolute confidence that my review was brought to the attention of moderators only because someone reported it as inappropriate. Who would do that? Barb perhaps? Why? Because it was contrary to the image the office wants to portray? Tracking back to Barb's request to call [BTW the support Yelp provides on how a business should respond to negative reviews does not include, "Call me," which as my review indicated, our family had already pursued to no avail], I assumed the office was not open on Sunday but did indeed call as soon as I was able on this Monday morning. After listening for an entire minute (feels like an eternity when on hold) of a message about changes in the office's billing policy, I was "greeted" by a woman who was terse and didn't identify herself. It was too easy to recall recent bad experiences and after quickly realizing the issues with this office are inherent and unlikely to change, instead of asking for Barb, I cancelled an appointment for this week and initiated the process of identifying a new PCP who is not in the New West network. read more

I should mention that the Phys. Asst. I dealt with here was very gracious and helpful, and doesn't really deserve to be included in my very negative review. I should also mention that I am an RN, and have worked in trauma/surgery since 1995. My opinions aren't justthose of a patient, but also as a medical professional. read more

I had multiple bad experiences attempting to book an appointment with Dr. Stahl. The people who answer the phone are curt and uninformed. They answer and act like you just interrupted them and don't answer basic questions. I cancelled my appointment out of principal because bad customer service should not be rewarded in any industry. Hopefully Dr. Steven Stahl reads this and realizes the people who represent him to his patients are rude and clueless. read more

Please note this is the only 1 star review I have posted. Doctors not helpful do not do full reviews and just refer to specialists. Office staff unprofessional and unfriendly. When expressing concern for too frequent urination was told to not drink so much water. After I posted this the office manager called and harassed me for posting so I would urge you to post reviews. I would like to say that in my experience, Kacey Topp, PA-C has made me feel very comfortable and has represented her profession very well. She has taken the time necessary to really make sure my carcass is in good shape and was kind in informing me on ways I can improve the way I feel. I have the impression that she takes her gift in medicine seriously and truly wants to help people be as healthy as they can be. Also I must say... The Phlebotomist guy with the glasses was AMAZING!!! (didn't get his name tho) He takes his craft seriously as well. It was like he was on a special ops mission. He got in, got the stuff, and got out almost totally undetected!!! Great job, sir! read more

I have been a nurse for ten years and in that time have worked with a wide variety of doctors. Most doctors are really great, a few are so so, and a very tiny few are ones I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Dr Clemons falls into that latter category. Rude, condescending, and didn't even do a full assessment. It does not surprise me that there are other bad reviews naming him specifically. I would stay away from them entirely. read more

HORRIBLE!!!! One of the worst experiences I have ever had. It takes SEVERAL calls to get anything done and they have no regard for you even when you are in pain and need medical assistance unless it fits in nicely to their schedule. And when it comes near the end of the day you best believe they will make you wait until the next day to get back to you if your issue is not yet resolved and then tell you that you are welcome to find a doctor who WILL help with the indicated problem. Not to mention, when they say they will call with test results, they won't, and then when you arrive for your next appointment, the girl working the front desk will loudly read them for everyone in the waiting room to hear if you ask about them. These doctors have no interest in helping you. All they want is your money. Having to return once a week for the same thing seems a little ridiculous. I have already started searching for a new (PCP). I recommend avoiding them at all cost. read more

DO NOT rely on this Dr. office for your primary care physician needs. I've been going to this office and have seen many different Doctors in this office for several years (Not sure why I haven't made a change sooner) While there is ONE decent Doctor in this office who actually takes the time and attempts to diagnose - the wait time, the time it takes to get an appointment and the follow up from staff members is horrendous. I was waiting for several different test results, including heart tests. 3 weeks after the tests had been performed, I still hadn't heard anything so I started calling the office. I had to call the "medical desk" every day for 2 weeks asking for results. Finally the staff asked me to call the cardiologist where tests were done to obtain the results myself. She also had the nerve to ask me to have the cardiologist fax her the results. I was dumbfounded and very confused as to why she would not have done this herself. If you have multiple issues that need to be discussed/addressed by the Doctor, they want you to schedule multiple appointments for each issue. Bottom line: This office and the majority of the Doctors in this office don't care about any of their patients - to them we are just another number and another dollar. read more
