I originally wanted marble, but he explained how fragile it is and how easily it can crack or chip compared to granite or quartz. I'm glad I listened, because he showed me this quartz called Calacatta Savoy that happened to be on sale and I love it more than the marble I saw online. The colors look amazing in person and really made the whole kitchen pop. The install was also way faster than I expected, and everything came out super clean. The cabinets look great and the countertops really tied everything together. Overall just a really smooth experience from start to finish. Definitely recommend them.

Georgia Dream Kitchens installed all of the granite in my new construction. In less than a year we had 3 pieces crack, one even cracked in 2 places. As someone who has lived in many places during my years of training in medicine, this is not normal. The first crack we noticed was shortly after moving in. It was in one of the bathrooms. Our kitchen is made up of 3 slabs. One broke in two places which the owner agreed was due to installation or transportation. Since we are still under our 1 year warranty, he agreed to replace it. He went completely MIA for months despite assuring us he would keep an eye out for a slab that matched. When we reached back out because we never heard back from him, he sent us a photo of a slab that would have worked. Of course, slabs aren't uniform but logically you would think he would have cut from the area that actually matched. I still have the photos he sent and I'm happy to share. For some reason he opted to cut where there was only gray, however my countertops are gray and brown. It looks atrocious and he ruined our kitchen. It wasn't until after this debacle that he said it is impossible to make it look acceptable if the slabs aren't from the same "bundle". We agreed to work together. We discussed the Taj Mahal/Madre Perola that I had had in NJ and liked very much. He stated to me that for about the same amount I paid for my bathrooms granite in NJ I could redo the whole kitchen with the Taj Mahal/Madre Perola for about the same cost of $3000. We agreed I would pay an additional $3000, and we would replace everything with the upgraded, more durable stone. At the last second, his daughter told me that it would be $8000 to replace it all, and that's with him meeting us part of the way since the initial crack was his fault. I was appalled and went out and did some calling around and visiting granite fabricators. No other company gave me a price this high and he supposedly was meeting us part of the way. Give me a break. In any event, I asked to speak with him and he opted not to call. This is the kind of business he is doing. Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere that knows how to handle a piece of granite without breaking it. It's not worth the time and you'll end up having to pay for it all over again. Find a company that stands by their work.

I asked the installers about the cracks and they told me that the cracks are natural and I would have to call the office with any concerns. I called the office and they told me that the cracks are natural and I would have to pay for another installation if I want it changed. They offered to do a small bathroom free of cost as a compromise but I refused. I went to three other counter top companies, showed them the pictures and they all agreed that the cracks are not natural. I asked Countertop Central to either replace the counters at no additional cost to me or remove it and refund my money but they are refusing.

Trip is an equally incompetent general contractor who frequently subcontracts Angel. I worked with Trademark Flooring through Floor and decor (Installation Made Easy) and I have to say…read morethat I am very happy with this company and their work. My contractors name was Steve Noel and he did an amazing job addressing all of my concerns and coordinating my messy project. Renovating your house is not easy and I have had the worst luck with contractors just dumping the job and leaving half way through after I have paid them and I did not have that fear working with Trademark Flooring. We did have some miscommunications and a few mistakes were made but after talking to Steve and clearing things up everything was fixed right away. I did a master bathroom flooring/wall and a living room/kitchen/dining/guest bathroom flooring project with Trademark Flooring. Living room/kitchen/dining/guest bathroom work: I had red oak 2.5 inch hardwood floors in the kitchen and dining room area and carpet in the living room section. Trademark Flooring first came in and removed everything. I have no basement and a concrete slab so they worked for about three days removing the glued down hardwoods and sanding and scraping everything down. I chose a large 48 by 48 porcelain tile for the living/kitchen/dining/guest bathroom floors and the entire floor was to be heated. Trademark Flooring was the only place that confidently took on the 48 by 48 inch tile and was fully prepared with their own electrician to hookup the thermostats after the installers ran all of the wire underneath before tiling. Master bathroom work: My master bathroom was all done with marble and heated flooring. I wanted a lot of niches and they were able to make the curved arch niches l wanted leaving the wires from the inside for my other contractor to come in and install lighting after the tiling was done. I used 48 by 24 marble tiles on the floors and walls and smaller marble tiles for the niches. They did a beautiful job with the tile around the deck of my drop in bathtub. They can basically do anything you ask for and I wanted to be a little creative with my design and they excelled in meeting my expectations. They even gave me great ideas when something I wanted was not going to be able to be done because of the existing layout of house. For example: An idea from Steve came up with the brilliant idea of furring the wall out to make one of the niches I wanted because breaking the wall and moving the pipe for the toilet was not an option as there was no room for the pipe to go back further. (Saved me money too to do it this way). I have posted the before and after pictures of my bathroom and living room floors. My house is not done yet so do not mind the unfinished surroundings. History of my project before Trademark Flooring: I am renovating my entire house and had a previous contractor come in that took a large deposit as 50% of each project I was starting ($42,000) and he started demolishing everything in the house first and then said he ordered all of the materials (tiles, speakers, bathtubs, windows, cabinets etc...) and basically kept asking for more money and after I told him to finish the projects I already paid for, he left the job and my house in a state as if a nuclear bomb hit it. So here I was with no bathroom, kitchen, and holes in the wall everywhere, plus things that he did wrong while trying to pretend like he was working. I tried to save a buck by going with a cheap contractor and I learned the hard way that sometimes going through companies is cheaper in the long run and less of a headache. I had to redo my master bathroom three times before I finally had Steve and Trademark Flooring come in and fix it for the last time. Side note: I also felt that the pricing from Trademark Flooring was very reasonable compared to quotes I got from other companies but if you run into any plumbing work and extra electrical work please try to find and use someone that you know. I had an issue with my Kohler tub faucet but because of the sake of time I used a plumber recommended by Steve who did excellent work but was very expensive. I also had to run 240 volt wires for the heated flooring that was broken up into 3 sections (master bathroom (kitchen, living room, guest bathroom on one circuit)(dining room heated flooring on a different circuit)). I got an electrician I knew to do the running of the 240 volt wires as the electrician that Steve recommended who connects the thermostat at the end was a little pricy too.

As our need was for a new bathroom out of an old closet, we did not need a whole crew. Having Victor and Mauro was perfect. In a world where we all expect life to be like a Joanna Gaines episode, real life has obstacles to overcome, and bumps in the road. The trick is to find someone who will work with you in a friendly manner to over come those obstacles. 1. Victor and Mauro worked in small cramped conditions when it was often hot and they were patient and uncomplaining. 2. When something came up for us or for them, we communicated and worked it out. When I needed them to be done by a certain time due to a surprise party, they made a point to get here early and finish. Later, both were even stung by yellow jackets in our yard!! They continued working despite the swelling!! 3. I changed my mind. I opted for a new vanity, didn't want Schluter strips (that was a whole thing) and decided to tile a part of the bathroom that isn't usually tiled. Victor rolled with it. 4. As my husband is handy, Victor worked with us to allow my husband to do parts, he wanted to do. This is flexibility you don't often find. 5. The price was very fair, kind to our budget. We were allowed to separate out the materials in case we found a good deal. Again, Victor accommodating without complaint. 6. I have never seen a harder worker than Mauro. Victor is no slouch, but Mauro was a force of nature. They worked seamlessly. 7. The tile looks beautiful. We were working with tile that had only one finished edge. That made it challenging. Something had to be redone. Again, Victor did it. No problem. One edge has a slight unevenness to it. I think the Schluter strips would have prevented this, but I opted to not use them, so it's no big deal. My choice. 7,5 Victor and Mauro put in a window. When the window proved to be a little weird, they added some strips to make it look right. 8. Victor pointed out materials we could return to Home Depot, we did and were reimbursed hundreds at the end. I would say, make sure you talk, talk, talk and know what you want and YOU will make your life easier. Would I use Victor and Harmony again? I'm already dreaming up ways to do just that. Don't be difficult. Choose competent people and work with them. Life is not a TV show.
