Some things are a little over priced, BUUUUUUUT they have some of the best selection of must have staples. I know some of these items are available down the street at the swap meet, but when it's Wednesday and you need THAT one thing...guess what, New Star has it! Call it a convenience fee I guess. On today's visit, there was a young lady at the register. She was very nice and I had no attitude problems at all. Say whatever you want to say about this place, but whenever I need something last minute, they have it most of the time. read more

Stay away from this business they don't do refunds or exchanges I bought a shirt that was the wrong size went back there the next day and they said they couldn't do anything and all I wanted to do was exchange my size would rather go to target across the street than take my money here read more

Called the Sylmar location after work to check if they were still doing the raffle they said yes. I pulled up and when I asked to sign up they told me it ended. Should've said it was over on the phone. Wouldn't have wasted my time. When I asked for the only guys name that was there they pretended to not know the guys name. Mentioned it could've been someone in the back. Supposedly Chris maybe Omar. I wouldn't have cared to write this but the only guy there wouldn't own up to his mistake. At least tell me sorry and say it was his mistake. read more

It's interesting reading the reviews and while customer service is important and customers are spending money, my thoughts when I go in, considering where I'm walking into, not an LV store, or even a department store, basically a one owner swap meet store, I'm actually not expecting all that much, mostly know what I'm there to get, grab it and go, overpriced, obviously, poor Korean customer service, a given. It is what it is, and I don't try and disappoint myself by expecting a whole lot out of this place lol. read more

This store is pretty cool, I remember coming here when I was younger so I've seen owners/management change a bit. It has a huge selection of clothing, shoes, backpacks and what they're know for- school uniform. They also sell nursing uniform. They sell a lot of the clothing brand you see at the store from the mall "Zumiez", they got stuff like Primitive, OBEY, Vanz, Converse and more! My only "complain" would be that some items are a bit over-priced, but it's a small business so what do ga expect? Employees are nice and helpful when you ask for assistance. Store is clean AND dressing rooms are available! read more

I stopped by this store and it's a hidden gem. They had a large selection of clothes and shoes but best of all it was affordable. I was expecting to drain my wallet but left wallet intact and with a fresh new wardrobe. Will definitely be back here again. read more

Been looking for a store that has a unique and classic style of shoes, and we found this never regret to buy a pair of shoes at this store.

Honestly I like coming to this place because it's a hit or miss with things. They have a section for shoes that are on sale and I got my 2 year old three pair of vans for $70 about a month ago, 1 high top snoopy, and 2 low tops in a black faux leather with adjustable straps and another blue velvet. Previous to this I scored for my toddler another high top light pink and a high top black vans for $20 each. In comparison to the actual Vans store that retails each one of their shoes for $40-$45 for the toddler section I think it's amazing! Only thing is you have to pop in often in order to find these good sales Otherwise you won't run into luck. Cons to this place is the employees aren't helpful at all, neither is the owner to the location which sucks. As well their prices have gone up. When I used to shop here it was a bit less expensive to the clothing they have and shoes that aren't on sale. They would also put more shoes out on sale which is why I mostly come here. read more

I've been coming here since I was a kid getting stuff for back to school but recently I've came a few times and each time its worse then before. it's always a mess and you can't tell any of the employees from the customers. A uniform or a name tag is definitely needed. One of the workers chucked the hat on the counter to me after I paid for it instead of handing it to me. Not sure if I'll be back here anymore . Sucks to see if fall off so much read more

The place is well organize Store is near Home Depot and other whole stores.(kinda not walking distance) They have hundreds,sb,adidas, janoskie, chucks,HUF,supra, diamond,Nike etc.. Brands of clothing and shoes such as toms and vans... They also have dickies pants and scrubs. The only thing is the price is not really a sale price... =[ their clothing is pretty much the same as the mall prices. My personal opinion is go to the outlet u might get better varieties of clothing and shoe brands for a cheaper price. But check it out maybe you'll get a better chance of catching their sale prices. You will literally see their banner of shoe brands when u are at the 210 eastbound heading towards la Canada on your right side. read more

Terrible customer service. They don't say good morning or can I help you with anything. I stood in the shoe section for over 5 minutes and the man walked past me 3 times. I walked around the store looking at all of their product. I was at the cashier looking at wallets and 2 woman didn't approach me to see what I wanted in the glass. I finally was rung out and the woman finally said have a nice day. I won't be returning to this location. I dont live in Burbank but that location makes me feel wanted and I chose to drive 2 cities over. read more

They are okay. Some times you can't find the sizes you are looking for. But the employees have always been nice and helpful.

Every single person who works here has such a horrible attitude. Their body language and the way they speak to the customers screams "I hate my job" lol. A couple days ago when I went a young girl cashier had a stank attitude during the whole checkout process and didn't say anything but my total amount. I told her "Thank you have a good one" she responded "Mhm". My mom asked a guy employee regarding a certain size of a tshirt he said "If we did have that size it'd be right there where it belongs". I couldn't believe it, I had to leave asap it was about to get ugly lol. The attitude of these employees are so rude it's annoying. I'm shopping at the Arleta one from now on. read more

This place only has about 10 parking spots, but its actually pretty large and in charge inside. They have a wide selection of clothes, I usually come here for basic plain T shirts or old school cheap gym shorts, bought some for $12.99. What I like was their jean selection. I was actually able to fine my size here, I guess because the demographic is mainly Mexican, they have a wide variety of waist sizes with a 30' lenght, sorry world I was born with short legs. read more

I really like shopping here. They have a huge selection of clothes. I always come here for my Levis and plane white t shirts. They have all kinds of colored shirts for men and woman, they even have a small selection of shoes too. The best part is there prices are affordable. read more

This place has a great selection of tees and shoes. It's almost worth dealing with the rudeness of all the staff here. I have come multiple times and have experienced the same treatment everytime. I'm sure they will read this and say ,if you don't like it don't come here. Because this is the attitude they put out to customers. read more

Bad experience every time I go! I purchased a hundreds shirt and I didn't realize it had a hole in the bottom until 4 days later when I put it on so I went to go return it 3 days later since I saw the hole and they didn't allow me to return it because it wasn't going to be able to sale again and they gave me a hard time making it seem like I made the hole like why the hell would I make a hole in a expensive ass shirt ! So at the end she told me to keep the shirt and I would get 40% off my next purchase of any cost ...... so I decided to give it a second chance I purchased a hundreds sweater used my percentage off and I asked if I could exchange it for a bigger size if it didn't fit the birthday boy they said yes ..... I went in today to go exchange it and once again the staff questioned me on why I got discount on the sweater !!! Questioning me like if I did something wrong asking about my old shirt with the hole ! First of all if I have a receipt just fucking exchange it if it's still within my exchange purchase ! Don't fucking interrogate me as if I stole from y'all ! Never buying from here again !!!!!! I tried but the staff sucks well management atleast. read more

These people are crooks. They don't let you do returns or exchanges even if you have the receipt. They said I washed the pants I paid $51 for and I just bought them the night before. I returned them because the pants said 33x32 but they weren't. They were really short and I didn't realize that until I took them home. This place sucks. I will never buy from them again.. read more
