Today was my 3rd or 4th visit and I waited to write a review because I was still on the fence for silly reasons. I came in for a cleaning and my hygienist was Sophia (Sophie). What I consider to be a 5 star experience is when someone introduced themselves by name and tells you who they are and what they'll be doing. Yes, I know that's such a simple thing, but in my experience, most people don't introduce themselves as such. They may say what their role is, but don't mention their name. That is basic customer service that many businesses lack. But not at New Smiles Dental. Sophie was kind, she educated me on my oral health and she cleaned my teeth SO WELL! I don't think I've ever had such a thorough cleaning. My mouth feels so clean and healthy. Thanks Sophie! I am looking forward to my next routine appointment. Seriously...who looks forward to going to the dentist? When you have a good experience, you do. Last year, I was pregnant and my crown fell apart. Dr. Peter did an amazing job with a new crown. I was really impressed with his work. I'm definitely coming back to him for future dental work. Natali at the front has been so helpful and flexible with scheduling and rescheduling my appointments, which can be such a challenge with a toddler and nap schedules. Dr. Peter is also really good with answering calls and providing helpful information. To top it off, New Smiles is in the neighborhood which is very convenient. I was commuting to Redlands to a dental office that has stellar Yelp/Google reviews. But tbh, I'm not sure what the big deal is cause I've had a far greater experience here. After rescheduling me TWICE for my very first appointment (not my doing), I had to deal with an employee for the X-rays who was so incredibly awful that I got up and left halfway through it. I was having difficulty because of some physical issues that I have and she was so rude and demeaning. I guess I should have known before I even went to the appointment that this was going to be a huge mistake. Well now he's gaslighting me in the response below. That's great . Great dentist & staff. The appointment times are not too far out, & there is not a long wait once you arrive. The staff is excellent and understands how to deal with patients who have dental anxiety. They make you feel comfortable and not stuck up. The doctor takes his time to make sure the teeth post procedure are smooth and have the correct curves and indentation to match the surrounding teeth. My first visit here and I will never go to another dentist again. I made appointment for both me and my husband for a check up and a cleaning. From the moment I made the appointments I had a great experience. The receptionist was so helpful and sweet. Our hygienist, Desiree, was friendly, gentle and explained everything she was doing. My husband has been needing some work done on his teeth and in the past has gotten so much of a runaround from dentist offices that he's gotten frustrated and given up. The Dr went over in detail everything that needed to be done (actually the Dr did this twice since me and hubby drove separately and he was done before me and went home) and gave us a cost breakdown of exactly what our insurance will cover and what our out of pocket will be, he even broke it up into 4 separate visits (over approx. a 2 year span) so that we knew exactly what would be done that visit and the cost. The office was clean, modern and organized. I really can't say enough good things about this office. Every single person we interacted with from the receptionist to the Dr made this experience great....and that's coming from someone who fears going to the dentist. read more

So first I accidently called the office on a Monday and it went straight to the Dr. I didn't realize that they were closed. He was very nice and was even willing to get my info to have the office return the call tomorrow I looked on they website and noticed that I could book online and did so they sent a confirmation with in the hour. The day before my new patient appointment they called to confirm, verify insurance, and sent a link to all the forms I needed to fill out (because of COVID). I was informed to that I would have to wait in the car until the appointment time. They were clean professional and polite. the staff is more like family and treats you like so. They gave a very informed treatment plan and was no pushy with services. The Dr. Listened and broke things down with out spewing medical Jargen at you. I was looking for a new Dentist since I just moved to the area. I called new smiles dental studio because of the reviews that they had and asked if they would be able to tell me my co pay based on the insurance that I have to confirm what the costs would be for a cleaning. The representative on the phone said she couldn't and that I would need to schedule an appointment for which I thought was ridiculous I've called other dental offices in the past and they've had no issues and didn't requiere an appointment to provide that information. read more

My son and I recently started going to Dr. Peter, we switched from a dentist in Redlands to have a dentist closer to home in East Highland. My 1st impression of the facility was how clean and beautiful it was. It's stunning! I went in for a cleaning and pain from a filling that had fallen out. Dr. Peter recognized that I had a bigger problem and was in need of a root canal, he made a call and got me in that day to see a specialist across town to get the root canal done and I came back a few weeks later to get a crown. The whole process was easy and as pleasant as a root canal and crown could be. Dr. Peter made sure I was 100% happy with how my crown fit, he seems like a bit of a perfectionist which I actually appreciate. I had a concern about billing and it was explained and cleared up right away, it's clear that Dr. Peter wants to make sure his patients are satisfied across the board. My teenage son had a cleaning and a couple fillings done and commented on how nice the staff treated him. The staff are very kind, especially Tiffany and I love the way they joke with each other. It actually makes the environment more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place, I'm writing this review on my own as I know how important finding a good dentist is. read more
