One of the best cities to live in here in South Florida. I lived in the 305 for over 10 years and…read morehave been so happy living up here in Pembroke Pines. Everything is at your fingertips from malls to restaurants and everything else in between. I have this ongoing joke that there's nothing I don't need that I can't find within 3 miles of my house. The city has great festivals and events all the time. I really like the Veteran's Day ceremony, 4th of July and Easter egg hunt. The staff are always professional and friendly. Both of my children grew up in the schools here. They started in the City of Pembroke Pines pre-school then went through elementary, middle and high school here. I like the public schools better than Charter. Everyone has their opinion. For me it creates a better bond with children that live in our neighborhood.
