Picked up takeout from this place last week as my usual place was closed on Tuesday. The service was friendly and efficient, our order was ready shortly after placing it. We ordered the Canton chicken, Mongolian beef combo meal, sweet and sour chicken combo meal, egg rolls, and crab rangoons. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. The canton chicken sauce was different than what I'm used to but still delicious. The crab rangoons could have been folded differently to create more crisp but they tasted good. The egg rolls were freshly prepared and also delicious. The price of the food here was about $40 more than our usual Chinese takeout place but the portions were huge. I'll definitely be back to try some other items in the future. read more

The young woman up front is very nasty. She argues with customers and very hateful. I'm not sure if it's a race thing or what. She has done this to me personally on two different visits. They aren't that friendly to start with which is ok. The young woman up front talked to me like a dog, plus gave me the wrong order. She argued with me when I called her back. I had takeout there. I had to drive back to return the inedible meal of mystery meat. She got sarcastic with me again! She started hollering some smart nonsense at me that I ordered the wrong thing after I had pointed on her menu what I wanted to her! I've driven 24 miles total now and have lost my appetite! I never want anything from there again! I came home and threw the inedible Chinese food in the trash. No supper tonight! Avoid this place folks! Maybe they will close. The food was really good and some of the best Chinese food I have had. It's cheap and affordable and the workers are very nice. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants good Chinese food with a good vibe. read more

Transplant from Chicago has made it almost impossible to find good Chinese food locally. I read the review for New Rainbow and decided to give it a try. Food was ready quick, friendly staff, got in and out fast. I ordered chicken and broccoli, my husband ordered sweet and sour chicken and crab rangoon. This is my usual weekend takeout spot. Asian food down south is never as good as it is up north for some reason (especially so with lo mein?)but this place comes close. They will satisfy any Asian food cravings. They're also super speedy, clean and consistent. I've never waited more than 15 minutes for an order and it always tastes as good as the last. Stuff that's good: crab rangoons, lo mein, mai fun, general Tso's, hunan, egg rolls, dumplings, beef & broccoli, teriyaki chicken or beef, chicken wings. I've never had anything bad but there are a few things that are just so-so. They also have homemade sweet tea that's weirdly addicting for some reason. read more

Don't come here expecting "authentic" Chinese cuisine, but if you have a craving for Americanized Chinese cuisine, then this place is pretty good. They do mostly take out orders, although they do have tables and chairs inside if you decide to eat in. Prices are affordable since it's a "no frills" establishment. We ordered their Sweet & Sour Chicken and Beef & Broccoli combination plates (for take out), which came with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I'd recommend ordering either their lunch specials for lunch or combination plates for dinner, if you want the best value. Overall, the food was tasty and portions are generous. The food at this place has really gone downhill for the last few months. I used to really like it. Ordered crab Rangoon that tasted like there was a cup of sugar in each one and my favorite, the steamed dumplings, have been terrible the last 3 times I've ordered them. They used to be wonderful, pork with lots of garlic. Now they are flavorless and made with something I can't even identify ( maybe chicken). A real shame since it's right here in town. Ordered Chinese food from here tonight because I didn't feel like cooking. My boyfriend got the General Tso chicken combination dinner and I ordered the General Tso shrimp dinner with white rice. We were both very disappointed. The sauce wasn't spicy at all, and it actually tasted like a thick orange syrup. Ugh, it was bad. And my shrimp were covered in so much breading, I could barely find the shrimp! I ended up just eating some of the rice and a few pieces of broccoli that were spared from that horrible sauce. My boyfriend just threw his away. It was really bad. Our dog loved the fortune cookies though, so that was cool. My husband enjoys the food and is a regular customer ordering three to four times if not more per week. I am usually the one that will call to order the food. However, the young lady that answers the phone is not friendly and very, very impatient which is not good for business. There is a young man (maybe her brother or husband) that is very friendly and have excellent customer service skills and pleasant to speak with. Hopefully, someone will bring this to her attention before others begin to complain and business is compromised. read more

Ordered the General Tsao chicken combo. It's New York style, got generous portion, fast, in 10 minutes like they said and were polite. However, after both of us eating just a few forkfuls , we felt nauseous. Both ended up sick for the night. Will have to avoid this one in the future. read more

I ordered $40 worth of food for my family for dinner and it was by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I will NOT ever go back. We have our normal spread that we all like to order so I decided why not try this place as I am driving home from the Orthodontist with my daughter and really did not want to go across town to get to our normal restaurant. However lesson learned, I will drive 30min out of my way to get good Chinese from now on. Crab Rangoon- no crab not even imitation crab in it and the cream cheese was so bad it tasted fake. Fried Dumplings- more like fried cardboard Chicken lo mein- tasted like someone was smoking a cigarette while cooking and blowing smoke into the food. The chicken was not white meat chicken it looked like dark meat chicken(that's what I'm telling myself anyways) Sesame Chicken- again not white meat chicken and no taste at all! It looked like old leftover that was reheated. Blah! Sweet and sour chicken- fried in oil that must be way too old however this was the most edible of all the order. 2 egg rolls- that we have decided to not even try!
