We brought our daughters meals/snacks from home due to her severe allergies but they always took extra precautions to make sure she was safe and removed from any cross contamination with her allergens. It has recently changed hands and went from bad to worse. I was going to leave this center a while back and was assured that the new management was going to bring lots of positive energy and make up for what has been neglected and ignored in the past. It really bothered me to walk through the school at times to see the teachers looking tired, stressed and not happy. There were a few that would even vent and express their dislike for the things that were or were not being done to improve the school. Let me say that as a previous business owner I do wholeheartedly believe that employees should not vent to customers, but when you cant get any response or action from management I believe its purely out of frustration. When choosing a Prek program or Preschool just know there are other quality centers in the area because the lack of leadership is apparent. On my initial tour, one of the main topics I wanted discussed was how the facility handles children on the spectrum. I was assured by the director who gave us the tour, the instructors and staff were certified to handle children with ASD. Unfortunately I learned after paying and my daughter attending, that in fact they were not equipped to handle her behaviors and outbursts. I tried on several occasions, in the two weeks I had her there, to set appointments with the directors and the instructor, to figure out a plan to help guide my child. Never happened. One appointment they were a no show. The next I never got a call back. The administration has little regard for parent concerns. The staff has little to no communication. If you are looking for a place that cares, for the money they charge, I would look elsewhere.
