We thoroughly researched and toured several schools before enrolling her at THMS in April 2023. Mr. Amir, the former owner, was a great leader. Ms. Shireen, the current head of school, is equally wonderful. Despite facing challenges like every organization, the school has experienced positive transformations. Ms. Shireen, Ms. Uzma, and the incredible teachers have prepared our children for kindergarten. There's been an increase in open communication, and more visibility into the curriculum. The school offers fun activities during school hours and some after, and they always include parents and families whenever possible. Our daughter has cherished every teacher, including her afternoon teachers during the extended day program. We haven't experienced any harsh treatment, thankfully. While it's understandable that we might pick her up sweaty from the playground due to Georgia's hot weather, I don't expect teachers to keep all the kids' shirts tucked in or wipe their faces constantly. If that's the case, I'd provide face wipes and leave a note for the afternoon teachers. We've also never picked her up wet because they always help change her if she has an accident, even if she spills water on her shirt! We provide change of clothes and they bag up the wet clothes for us. I deeply respect Ms. Shireen's challenging job. She remains positive and I always see her at school with a smile on her face. Montessori philosophy doesn't sugarcoat developmental truths, and Ms. Shireen and the teachers must tell parents where their kids truly are. They spend upwards of 40 hours per week with them, unlike many of us. I appreciate their hard work and am excited to see what our daughter learns in the next two years.

The way the staff treats the children is far from nurturing or aligned with the Montessori philosophy. During my daughter's time there, we noticed multiple red flags. She would often come home with her clothes soaked or improperly dressed after using the bathroom -- shirts not tucked in, pants half pulled up -- showing clear signs of carelessness. Her face was frequently red when we picked her up. At first, we assumed it was from face paint or playing, but after reviewing camera footage, we realized it was actually from how harshly the teachers were wiping her face. This is completely unacceptable. The food handling practices are also alarming. I personally witnessed a teacher carry five chicken nuggets from the kitchen to the classroom in her hands, even though she was wearing gloves -- no plate, no tray. When serving the food, it was literally tossed onto the children's plates with no care or kindness. Most upsetting of all is the teachers' overall tone and treatment of the kids. The environment is cold and impatient. I witnessed one incident where a child was crying loudly during mealtime, and the teacher yelled at him, grabbed him, and forced him to sit on the floor simply because he was playing with his chair. That is not how any child should be treated, especially not in a school that claims to follow Montessori values. Considering how expensive this school is, the lack of care and compassion is unacceptable. We were willing to sacrifice our hard-earned money for what we believed would be a safe, nurturing, Montessori-style environment. Sadly, what we experienced was the complete opposite. When I brought all of this to the attention of the school director, Shireen Ali, and we reviewed the camera footage, she showed zero empathy or concern, even though everything I described was clearly visible on the footage. Her only solution was to transfer my daughter to a different classroom -- nothing more. That's not acceptable. These teachers do not seem properly trained, and honestly, it doesn't appear that anyone on staff is actively monitoring those cameras unless a parent specifically asks. We ultimately withdrew our daughter because we no longer felt safe leaving her in that environment. I'm sharing this so other parents can make an informed decision -- what looks good on the surface at this school can be very different from what actually happens behind the classroom doors.

Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience…read more We enrolled our child in this school based on very specific promises: a low student-to-teacher ratio (two teachers for every ten students), qualified early childhood educators, consistent staffing, freshly prepared meals and snacks, and support with developmental milestones such as potty training. Unfortunately, none of these promises have been fulfilled. Staffing has been a constant issue. The promised ratio is routinely ignored, and there is rarely any consistency in caregivers. Teachers rotate constantly, and on several occasions the individuals filling in were not teachers at all, but maintenance or housekeeping staff. When asked directly, several attendants confirmed they do not have early childhood development credentials. This level of turnover and lack of qualification is deeply concerning. While I have met some team members who are caring and well-intentioned, positive attitudes cannot compensate for systemic issues and unmet commitments. At the cost charged, parents deserve reliability and transparency, and sadly this school has not delivered that. For this reason, I no longer feel comfortable entrusting my child's care here. Despite several months of attendance, there has been no observable progress in learning or potty training. There is no structure, curriculum, or evidence of intentional teaching. The food offering was another major misrepresentation. We were told meals and snacks would be freshly prepared; instead, children are regularly served prepackaged food. Cleanliness and supervision are the most alarming aspects. The facility often smells strongly of feces. On multiple occasions, we entered classrooms to find babies crying and clearly in need of diaper changes, with no staff attending to them. In one particularly disturbing instance, a soiled diaper appeared to have been left over an entire weekend, resulting in an overpowering odor. During the second week of January, I formally communicated my deep disappointment and my intention to remove my son from the school effective in February. I was informed that a 30-day notice was required. Even so, the concerns that led to this decision were never addressed or corrected. When enrolling my son in a new school and explaining our negative experience and clear expectations for quality and care, the very first question we were asked was: "Is it Crème de la Crème?" That alone speaks volumes. Crème de la Crème's reputation precedes them, and it is clear that we are not the only parents who have reached this conclusion. Other parents have already made the decision to remove their children from the school. This school is expensive, and parents are sold a vision of high-quality care, professionalism, and nurturing attention. What we experienced was the opposite: chronic understaffing, unqualified caregivers, serious hygiene deficiencies, and completely unmet developmental needs. I truly wanted this school to work. Instead, it has become an extremely costly disappointment, and I strongly urge other parents to thoroughly research and ask very specific questions before enrolling their children.

Discovery point taught my second son reading and writing everyday since he was 3.5 years old, they had very diverse curriculum, he learned Spanish, sight words, and all different songs. Like everyone during those uncertain times, I had to make the decision of transitioning him from our in home nanny to school so he would not fall behind with his social skills. We had come from a "placeholder" school and it was time to find him a school home. From my first interaction and tour with the school, Ms. Yang told me everything about the program. I loved how thorough their policies and procedures were. The school appeared to be large, clean, fresh and new! The staff wore masks and required you to wear them when entering the building as well while I was on my tour so ultimately making the decision came a bit easier. As with most parents - you value the safety of your child. So many horror stories online and on the news about kids being mistreated by trusted staff. So I want to point out something that will be very reassuring - Tanisha and her wonderful administrative team take pride in caring for each child as if they were their own! You will get to know each and every one of them and learn the "culture" of your Primrose school. Even with my picky preferences with classrooms and teachers (LOL) they were always able to accommodate me or meet me in the middle. I did notice some reviews were unfavorable... One of the 1 star reviews was a parent I hadn't seen in a while. As parents, we like to think of our children as angles but most times it's not always the case! In her case, I must say her child was one of those children! And I love that Primrose has a standard and sticks to it! As for the mentioning of them not being equipped to handle Kids with disabilities, I dont think this is a fair judgement. So many children today have them. I'm an advocate for free help offered by the state and insurance and so many parents out of laziness most times refuse to get it! This leaves parents like myself who don't have a child with behavioral problems or disabilities at a disadvantage! Along with the teachers and staff! It takes a village to raise a child and they most certainly do their best within their legal realm of monitoring to make sure all children are treated fairly. So understand with all education - it's a partnership! As long as you are aware of that going into ANY school - your outcome should always be favorable. Now the good stuff! For new parents searching here are some perks: Pre-k is private! They wear uniforms in pre-k! (Loved this look for the kiddos) Breakfast is provided for a small weekly fee Lunch is provided and is included in tuition They offer weekly tuition options! Their curriculum is wonderful! Their sign in/sign out and app are so seamless and user friendly! they have parent/teacher meetings etc! They have an open door policy and the owner is hands on! Now the cons which weren't many; Location - The traffic to get to this location took me about 90 mins a day for 2 round trips and I live less than 5 miles away. And it's pretty tough getting out of the schools parking lot onto the traffic... But my son's safety was the uttermost important so I made the sacrifice as long as I could! Personal values - Sometimes as families our personal, religious and moral values don't always align with companies and that's okay! So we made the tough decision to leave Primrose as we noticed this shift. Again - these are my personal pros and cons and they do not take away from the quality of the school which they most definitely earn their 5 star reviews! Nia, the assistant director, gave me incorrect pricing information not once, but twice. She also told me that the enrollment fee would be waived. Because she had already given me inaccurate information earlier that week, I specifically asked if she was sure, and she confirmed that she was. When I received my first bill, it was a little under $500, which immediately confused me because there was supposed to be a $250 discount applied to the first week. I asked the director, Renee Milton, why the bill was still so high after the discount. She told me it was because the enrollment fee had been added. I explained that Nia had told me the enrollment fee would be waived. Considering the multiple pricing errors beforehand, I felt some type of accommodation should have been made. Nia clearly needs additional training, and the communication between management is poor. Now onto the director, Renee Milton. She was extremely unprofessional throughout my experience there. One morning while dropping my children off, a teacher was running late. Renee said to me and another parent, "If it was up to me, I would get completely new staff." We were both visibly confused. As a parent, that is not something you want to hear from the person running the daycare your children attend. A few days later, I saw my oldest child doing something inappropriate on the camera system, so I called the school to address it and speak with my child. Later that evening, Renee brought up the situation and I mentioned that I like to monitor my child's behavior. She then responded, "You need to watch the cameras for these teachers as well." Again, I found this incredibly unprofessional. Regardless of how management feels about staff internally, those conversations should never be had with parents. The final issue involved my account balance. Earlier that week, I spoke with Renee over the phone and explained that I would pay the balance on Friday. She agreed that it was fine. Then, a day or two later, she messaged me through the parent portal reminding me to pay before drop-off, and I responded confirming that I would. Friday morning, I paid the balance before bringing my children in. While dropping them off, one of the teachers told me, "Renee said you can't drop off your child unless you pay your balance." I was absolutely upset. First, because I had already communicated with Renee multiple times about the payment. Second, because no teacher should have access to or be discussing my personal billing information with me. When I addressed it with Renee, she seemed more concerned about finding out who told me than understanding why the situation was inappropriate in the first place. At that moment, I decided my children would no longer attend this daycare. This was honestly one of the worst daycare experiences I have had. Renee and Nia are the main reason I would never recommend this school. It is hard to feel comfortable leaving your children somewhere when the director openly speaks negatively about staff members to parents. That being said, I do want to acknowledge the teachers who were wonderful to my children. Ms. Smiley was amazing, and honestly one of the main reasons I stayed as long as I did. Ms. Houda (I may be spelling her name incorrectly) was also wonderful with my 4-year-old and treated her with so much kindness and encouragement. Ms. Rochelle was incredibly sweet as well, and I truly believe she cared about my children. Those three teachers deserve recognition because they were the bright spots in an otherwise disappointing experience.
