That you, Sara; you are a gift. Julie

I had to go out of town for a very sad funeral. By some miracle, I was able to get a last minute appointment for a haircut. I had never been to the New Moon Spa, but just walking through the glass doors, I got a feeling of relaxed joy. Then I met the stylist who would be doing my asymmetrical naturally curly hair which, at the time looked like I had put my big toe into a live electrical socket. SARA is an extraordinary individual and a master stylist. The profound depth of our conversation was immediate and my hair turned out so very nice - not too long, not too short with just the right amount of curl and asymmetrical shape. My experience with SARA was magical. Thank you, beautiful lady, for the most lovely conversation, 3-minute authentic hug, and a spectacular haircut. Julie Freeman

First, I would like to start out by saying that the staff was very kind and easy to talk to. My review is about the quality of service for the price I paid. I paid $95 for a mani/pedi while on vacation with my friend, $45 of that was for the manicure which was $5 more than the normal cost since I wanted gel as opposed to normal polish. Becca was very kind but she did not do well on my nails, granted she had only been there about 4 months. I left there with a manicure that I could have, and should have, done from home. I give myself gel manicures often and I have done much better on myself for free. The edges are messy, there are specs of dirt IN the polish, and you can't tell from the photo, but there was so much polish used that it looks like a bubble of paint plopped on my nails. On top of the mediocre job she did, my $45 nails all fell off two days later. Yikes

A day at the Spa with the girls!

From the moment we walked in we were treated like old friends. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable about all the services. Our massage therapists were...OFF THE CHAIN!!!! For me I like deep tissue and there has only been one other time that the deep tissue didn't feel so much like a beat down. After our massages we were given the freedom to partake of other services ie hot tub, pool and sauna. Again if you are ever here in Eureka Springs stop by the New Moon Spa...tell them Ned sent ya!

Not high quality manicures

Beth worked wonders on my feet and legs (I'm now a devoted fan of Eco-fin), and the entire experience with her was just BLISS!

This salon likely has regular clients which is not the case with me. I'm new to the area and made…read morean appointment to have a simple manicure and pedicure (no polish, no massage.) After spending most of my time there pointing out roughly cut and poorly filed nails to the man working on both my fingernails and toe nails, I gave up and decided to fix them on my own. Also, the salon is not particularly clean and I noticed they don't clean the pedicure bowls after each use. Their website says they take credit cards. As I set out to pay, I was told no credit cards. I was also notified to go get money from the teller. So much for good customer service. Perhaps, you might have better luck. I know I will never return to (not so) pretty nails. Very disappointed in the service I was provided with.

I never give reviews but I felt like this may help others…read more I went in for a fill, and got Tommy. He was sweet but didn't use the color I asked for and when I asked, he smiled at me and continued. I think he was assuming I was telling a joke?? Instead of a darker purple, he did a pink. When buffing, he cut my cuticles a lot. I usually don't mind but his fingers kept rubbing right over them and it was pretty painful. When applying the acrylic, I pointed out (politely, I am scared of confrontation lol) that one of my nails was misshapen. Turns out....almost all of them are. He tried to fix the one I pointed out but by the end, it was slightly lob sided. When applying the polish, there were little specks of hair or dirt?? Idk I guess it was an additional design, air bubbles too on a few nails. I usually don't mind much, from afar you can't notice many of the flaws, but all of that for $40 when refills start with $16?? Not a fun experience They were very friendly, but I am pretty disappointed with the service.
