Couldn't stop smiling walking around this shop, and that's what it's all about folks...this is a great local business offering lots of trinkets, odds and ends, unique gifts and random novelty goodness. We stopped by our first day in NM and there was an artisan market outside--we talked to a few of the artists there and they said it was the first time they've done the event, so we felt pretty lucky to have randomly stumbled into it. We made sure to swing by again on our last day to grab some stuff to take home (art print, sticker, turquoise stuff, & book). A good haul that will help me remember how awesome our trip was. I was able to get a couple nice things for myself as well as a great gift for a friend back home who dog sat my furry companion. The store is pretty big and virtually every inch has something interesting to consider buying. I wish the online store featured more of the items actually sold in store because I'd probably buy a cactus for myself after seeing the one I bought my friend. The salesperson also gave us some tips on where to visit while we were in the area. She was really friendly and a great resource for us. If you only get a chance to visit one gift shop in the area I'd say this one is your best bet!

It's walkable from Old Town Albuquerque but you can also drive and park since there are plenty of parking spots. The things that stood out as unique here was the large selection of Pendleton made blankets and clothing with Native American patterns. There is almost an overwhelming amount of items here so it's good if you like browsing. The staff also knows a lot so if you have questions or are looking for a specific item you can ask away. You can also ask for a discount and haggle the prices if you think it's too much. My friend accidentally broke a Kachina doll that was already slightly broken, he felt bad and requested we come back right before our flight so he could pay for it. Staff was very kind and gave him a massive discount. He has it proudly displayed at his home now!

The artist who buys and creates for this store is Candice Carnes-- I had the pleasure of meeting her mom while I browsed. Anytime I see the words 'infinite' and 'curiosities' in the same sentence I am excited, and this shop did not disappoint. Candice has a good eye and is a talented buyer for this store-- there are quite a few novelty pocket watches. I bought a Harry Potter snitch locket watch that I just really adore. The shopkeeper found a ribbon for me to put it on since I am allergic to most metals. I also found a cool silk fish windsock. Many of the items here are made by Carnes and include funky jewelry and Christmas ornaments made from old motherboards. Jewelry made from old buttons and charms. Necklaces of frozen Charlottes-- vintage porcelain baby dolls dug up from the toy factory years later. Her designs feature creepy and wonderful baby doll eyes that open and close.
