His fee was very reasonable and, including the termite and radon tests, was less than some other inspectors' fee just for the inspection. We are very happy with his work. I was told how the gutter guard would get slid under the shingles and then attach to the gutters (as it should). I sign off on the estimate. And then they come to do the job. From the ground level it looked like everything was going well. I later walk upstairs to a bedroom and look out the window to find that he was installing the gutter guards OVER the shingles and drilling screws INTO my shingles!!! He was creating holes in my shingles which becomes a new source of water breaching which is the exact opposite purpose of having a roof and gutter guards. I immediately run outside to question what he is doing. I was so alarmed. He had already installed almost 1/3 of the gutter guards damaging my roof. He kept insisting that this was a standard way to install the guards. I told him absolutely not. I am very familiar with gutter guards and know very well that they have to be slid under the shingles. How can you drill screws into shingles creating holes all around my roof edge?!?! He kept promising me that it would be fine and that if there were ever a problem I can call and they would come back to remedy it no charge. I emailed the main office telling them what happened and telling them what he said. They wrote back confirming that they would come back anytime in the future for free should a problem ever arise. At that point I felt I had no other recourse because he had already installed 1/3 of the guards around my roof. So he went ahead and finished. I gave them a good review online because I trusted them that this will still be okay and they will stand by any issues that arise in the future. Fast forward 2 years later, now some of the gutter guards have loosened (obviously because they were screwed in and now the screws are getting loose). Multiple gutters have gotten clogged with leaves even though that is exactly what they were supposed to prevent. I got on a ladder and discovered the reason is because he cut the gutter guard edges with gaps from roof edge to roof edge. So there are multiple entry points for the leaves and dirt to go into. All he did was cover SECTIONS of my gutters but left gaping holes in multiple areas so that they no longer serve their purpose. I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with Home Ally. I've called and left messages. No response. I've sent Thumbtack messages. No response. I've sent emails. No response. This is beyond disturbing. I had another company come to look and they said they've never seen anything so disastrous with gutter guards. And the amount of damage caused to my roof is irreversible! What was supposed to be a simple job to protect my home has turned into a nightmare now that will cost me thousands and thousands of dollars!! Stay far away from this company. They do not do quality work and clearly could care less to respond to any messages or voicemails.

We opted to have an all inclusive package centered around a home inspection, radon level test, oil tank sweep, termite assessment, mechanical inspection and lead based test sampling. It was a bit over the top but we were worried about potential issues. What Brandon provided was by far way more extensive with knowledgeable home owner information, structural foundation inspections and even understanding of HVAC units and their coolant needs. In September, I hired them to tack shingles down on my roof. There was poor communication about when the work would be done. When the agreed upon day came, they did not show up. I called and emailed to confirm and Claudio said that the guys would be there at 9. It was already 10:30am at that point. I had to go to work and clearly requested via email that they not complete any work unless I was at home- I did not receive a response to this email and called to follow up. After hours of no communication, I was told that they would come another day. I was already frustrated at this point, but needed the work done. Finally, the day came and when Claudio showed up, he was by himself. I asked if he was going to complete the work by himself because the roof is pretty large. He told me that the guys had already come to do it on the first day (where I had to contact them and was told they'd be there at 9am). He was there for my payment. He insisted they came that day, but it isn't true. I was there myself and I think I would've known if someone was on my roof. Furthermore, even when I left to go to work, I have cameras on every side of the house. I was watching the surveillance and no one showed up. I paid him, because I don't believe in cheating people out of earned money, but after my insurance company came back to inspect them roof, it is clear that no work was done. Or was not done to completion (if I'm being generous). Stay away from this company. I've contacted them to have them come back and finish (or start) the work and have been met with voicemails and unanswered emails. I will be contacting the BBB, because this is unacceptable.
