    The MRI tech Phil is extremely rude and disrespectful. I guess they let anyone work here. Go get your MRIs and XRays done elsewhere.

    So, if I would have seen the reviews for this place prior to booking an appointment here, I would…read morehave not gone here for a CT scan. Actually...I was recommended to go here by IZ Medical, and I am genuinely curious as to why they recommend this place. Maybe they have an agreement of some sort? I don't know. But I do know that, when I chose two stars on YELP, the prompt was "could've been better," and that's exactly how I feel. I considered giving it three stars but the place is still leaving me hanging, so two stars it is. When the CT scan was initially announced, this place called me to schedule it first. I don't mind that. Actually, every person that I have talked to on the phone has been lovely. They've been very professional and informative, at least in scheduling anyway. I even had to change the appointment and they were able to do so seamlessly. This was my first impression, and it was positive. But as I interacted more and more with this place, I realized that the experience definitely "could have been better." For the appointment (which was on a Friday afternoon), they told me to call before coming into the office when I arrived. This is totally understandable and pretty basic COVID procedure for medical offices these days. As soon as I was called, I was invited in. Great! Except the office was positively slammed and definitely NOT Covid-regulated. There were around 20 people both standing and sitting, and the heat was blasting in the office. If you are going to make people call before you come into the office, it should be at least regulated, OR ask patients to wait in the car. Just a thought! Anyway, the young lady who helped me at the front desk was nice enough - she did check me in within a few minutes (remember to bring your prescription). However...apparently there was an issue with my prescription, as the CT scan was approved without contrast instead of with and without contrast, and the lady at the desk just looks at me and says, "There is a problem here with your prescription." Now, I know this is not personal towards me and she probably didn't realize she was being a bit curt, but it is *not my fault* that my prescription didn't go through. The young woman DID call up my doctor and get a new prescription, though. Also, this really wouldn't have bothered me if not for the rest of my experience with this place. The CT scan was easy enough. The technician was very nice and the process went smoothly. Now...the real issue with this place is what happens after you come and take your test. First, I asked the lady at the front desk (the same one who said I had the issue) if I could give my doctor's fax number, so that the CT scan could be directly given to the doctor. She said no! I would have to call and follow up. Ok! I had scheduled my appointment with my doctor on Wednesday, thinking the results would be done. So, I gave the radiology center a call on Monday, in between classes because I am a teacher. There is an extension for general questions and results. My intention was to give the fax number to the results department, so they could fax the number to my doctor. For both extensions, no one picked up, and I left a voice mail and have not gotten a phone call back since. Then on Tuesday, I called up the regular number just so I could speak to someone. I spoke to another lovely young lady who told me my results were not ready yet, but would make a note to the doctor to ensure that it was faxed over by my appointment (tomorrow). While it was great that the young woman was accommodating, my results were never prepared and released, so I basically had an appointment with my doctor for nothing. I again called the center, after the appointment, and politely explained that my results were never sent over and my appointment was missed - the person on the phone was apologetic and said she would try to get them out ASAP, but it is now Monday and I have not heard from my doctor (who said she would call me as soon as the results came in). BOTTOM LINE. This is a 'doc in the box' style business, I believe they are interested in quantity over quality. Honestly, if they got my results done in a timely fashion, I would bump up the rating of this place, because I understand the circumstances and not everything is going to be a five-star SPA experience, but it should be somewhat of a decent experience. If they are taking such a large number of patients (which they clearly are judging from my experience and other reviews), they need to get their act together and churn out those results in a timely fashion, OR give a disclaimer that results will take over a week to complete. I am not sure if I am being too harsh, but this is my honest-to-goodness opinion!

Let's just say that I was on the phone 30 minutes and the person I spoke to was a complete incompetent. (I'm actually being nice.) I kept asking her for an appointment at the Nutley location yet she was giving Brooklyn, Clifton... anywhere but Nutley. Finally found it when I gave her the complete address to look for and she gave me an appointment for Friday at 5 pm. Next, she gave me the wrong pre-visit instructions and when I told her that she made a mistake she told me to hold on. Then she came back with a different appointment time which was 5:45. I said it was fine. But next thing you know when she was confirming it was for a different day as well. She still hadn't addressed the pre- visit instructions and at this point I told her I had to go and didn't make the appointment. I lost my patience... and I have a lot of patience in general so that's saying a lot. So appointment seekers beware..... you might have a great phone experience or have the experience I had. I'm going to have to call back and hopefully I get someone who actually knows what they are doing.

    This location was okay. I was seen earlier than my appointment which went fast. The onsite process…read morefelt very coordinated. They have a large parking lot, but it was a little difficult to make a left out of it. Waiting area felt a little old, but there were plenty of chairs. The staff seemed friendly enough and did their job in a timely manner. The main problem with NJI is coordinating the appointment. They don't tell you until after the appointment I needed to fast (originally I was going to schedule for later the same day). They do everything manually so I'm reading my doctor's poor handwriting, and he didn't fill out all the fields. It was like booking an appointment in the 90s. Surely there is a more electronic system possibility. Also, the 2 locations closer to me had no availability ever until the end of time, apparently. So, the one in Clifton it is. The location itself was fine for what my doctor requested, but the company as a whole left a bad impression.
