****UNDER NEW AND GREAT OWNERSHIP****…read more I have to begin by stating that writing a review on a salon isn't something I normally do. When it comes to my wife's hair, she's the most detailed person on what she wants done. Usually getting that exact style isn't achieved at most places. However, here at Salon 31 she got exactly that. Jessica was patient, professional, and above all courteous with listening what my wife was looking for. After looking for a place to go she gave up and let her hair take over itself leading to some not so happy hair. After stopping by salon 31 she left more than happy;I would go as far as to say a completely new person. Jessica brings to Daytona Beach a sense of care and dedication to her art of styling that most people either given up or don't really care. With lots of experience and a great personality she's definitely the kind of new ownership Salon 31 needs. She was so impressed by what Jessica did that she repeated herself over 20 times!!! Her hair was exactly how she wanted it to be and she is now happy to know she's got herself a stylist. Thank you Jessica, you're te best!!!

Keep in mind that I am writing from the male perspective, but I have been a customer of high end salons since 2001 (Bumble and Bumble in New York, Michelle's Salon and Day Spa in the Berkshires, G20 Spa & Salon in Boston, just to name a few), and I would say that aside from the unnecessary frills (aka views of the Manhattan skyline, iced coffee, etc.) this place is just as good if not better than the best salon or barber I have ever been to. The only stylist who comes close is Shelly of Dellaria salon in Brookline, Massachusetts. I know that for some people, especially women I imagine, putting your trust in a new stylist can be scary, but from what I have observed as a customer, everyone comes away thrilled with their new haircut, coloring, extensions, etc. Me on the other hand; I just get the haircut, but her artistry and attention to detail is perfect for me. Totally satisfied customer and would recommend to anyone (male, female, or however you self-identify).
