Their online scheduling system is great and while they have that technology upfront, their services and expertise still seems old school and exactly what I was looking for. BUT 5mins into my cut, another customer walked in and the owner said "this is the one that called in, can you take him." The barber stopped mid haircut and said that I would have to get the rest of my haircut from another open barber. The other barber did a good job, but I have never - NEVER - in my life ever had to switch barbers mid-haircut. I have never felt that another customer was more important than me. I just stood there feeling stupid. I have been going to Royal Barber shop for nearly a year. Up until now I have been happy. They typically do a good job. BUT part of going to a barber shop is the experience. It's to feel good about yourself. That did not happen today. The individual barbers looked embarrassed and were apologetic. BUT the owner was not and did not say a single word to me. In short, if you come here, you'll get a good haircut, just be sure you call ahead or else you might be treated as a 2nd rate customer.
