John could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable. We had a fender bender, John and his team delivered our car in pristine condition. You could not even tell that it was in an accident. The quality of their workmanship was excellent. Our questions were answered satisfactorily and we were so pleased as "rookies" that they took their time to help us. We are so happy and would strongly recommend them! read more

Joe and Angel are absolutely wonderful! They make everything easy from communicating with the insurance to providing a rental vehicle. Angel was in great communication with me throughout the entire process. The service was done quickly and my car looks amazing!! I would not bring my car to anyone else. I had to bring my car 3 times to this place, just because the first two times were a completely disaster. The work they did was horrible and unacceptable. The third time my car was a little better, but I wasn't satisfied all. I will definitely not use this place again! read more

Nice, honest people and quality service ... despite some issues with the insurance company of the person who rear-ended me, they made the whole process as painless as possible. Got my rental fully covered and my car repaired to my satisfaction which was all I could ask for... will be back next time I need body work for sure! read more

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, i absolutely would! From the very first phone call made every person I spoke to was kind, patient, and most importantly knowledgeable about the business. They worked directly with my insurance and made the process seemless. I took my 21 Aspec TLX to the guys and they returned my car looking brand new. The damage on the bumper is gone and the paint is blended perfectly to match. Not only that, they took care of my rim as well. Angel was awesome to work with and I would definitely recommend bringing your car to New England Collision ! read more

Joe and his crew were incredible! After our car accident the last thing we wanted to deal with was insurance companies, appraisers and rental companies. New England Collision took care of it all for us. Our driver side door would not even shut from all the damage. They came to pick it up and left us a rental. They handled all the details for us. I knew our car was in great hands. They called when it was ready and we didn't have to wait long. Impeccable service that you won't find anywhere else and just look at these before/after photos. They did an AMAZING job! It almost looks new again. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! read more

Absolutely a positive experience with these guys! Super friendly and they handled everything with the insurance company so I didn't have to. In fact, I did nothing except drop the car off. Wait. And then pick it up without paying out of pocket. Awesome service and work. Why only four stars? Communication. They answered the phone each time I called ( every three days or so) and were very helpful in explaining where we were in the process. Still, it would be nice to get a phone call update every now and then especially when you're already concerned and stressed about car repairs. Otherwise though I highly recommend them! read more

Accidents are sure to happen, especially with cars. Luckily for me the driver who backed into me was a stand-up human being, took full responsibility, and had insurance. Talk about best case scenario! My winning strike continued when I found New England Collision through Yelp. These guys were pros from start to finish. They literally took care of everything for me - securing a car rental, dealing with the insurance company, going above and beyond on repairs, interior and exterior detailing - all I had to do was show up! It was hassle-free. They're a class act and are meticulous in the details; they even sent me a handwritten thank you note in the mail for choosing them for detailing. I can't recommend them enough! Accidents can be a headache but its nice to know that the repairs don't have to be. read more

My auto body guy retired a few years ago so I had to find a new one when my daughter decided to play chicken with an animal and lost and ultimately scraped the right side of her car from front bumper to back quarter panel on a guardrail. I recently met John Kraemer and brought the car into NE Collision. While I can't speak for how they handle an Insurance claim as I paid for it without putting in a claim, I can say they did a phenomenal job. Car looks brand new. The didn't replace bumpers or the hood. This was all body work and it looks spotless. Very pleased and highly recommend. Did I mention quick too! I found my new auto body shop. read more

I was in an accident and my car was repaired by New England Collision. Everything was wonderful until the day before the car was ready to be picked up. John called and said that the battery was not holding a charge. It was fine before the accident. We said replace it. I called the insurance company, and I misunderstood the adjustors and thought that insurance would cover it. I paid for the battery. There is a sign that says their prices include a cash discount. If paid with credit card, there would be a 4% fee added to the cost of repair. I was paying the deductible in cash, but there was no cash discount for my deductible because I was paying my insurance deductible in cash. My insurance company paid the rest, therefore, this sign was false. There was no cash discount for me and I paid the fee for paying for the battery with a credit card because I thought insurance was covering that, so I didn't have cash. When I walked out to my car, the license plate was not on it. I was told it must have been lost. Well. It was sitting on the front seat. When i opened the trunk, the wheel well cover was not replaced properly. I will have to fix that myself. These poor customer service incidents at pick up hurt the decent service I received with the repair. read more

I was unfortunate enough to join the "I had an accident on I-95" club. After looking at several places to take my car, I had it towed here. The damage was extensive, and I was an out of state driver. My insurance was a pain, but the friendly service took care of everything. All work comes with a lifetime guarantee. My accident was in October. Come May, I realized my AC was not working, and they took care of it no problem! read more

This place is wonderful. You deal with the owner directly and the customer service is phenomenal (that's very important to me). They fixed my car in one day!! I'm still amazed. I didn't have major damage but the bumper was replaced and the paint job they did was great. They even cleaned my car (vacuumed and detailed)!! I can't exactly comment on competitive pricing because I haven't been anywhere else. Fantastic work, lovely people and an overall great experience. I highly recommend them. Oh and they will drop you off and pick you up when your car is done! SO nice!! read more

NEC... You guys are awesome. I took my car to these guys and they have done a brilliant work on it. John and Joe two of the best men in the auto body business. Joe is definitely one of the nicest guys I think I've ever met a true gentleman with respect and treated me like he's known me 20 years. I returned some time ago for a quote and had a poor experience. Because I once did have a good experience here, I'm going to average out to a 3 star review, but I have to say that based on the recent interaction, I wouldn't come back. For the recent visit, there were a couple unrelated items I was interested in having fixed on my car, and I couldn't get them to provide a final quote on the exact work I wanted done. When I was on-site getting the quote, the guy who took all the info and inspected my car for some reason handed off to the receptionist before finalizing our discussion. The receptionist came back with some parts prices which were required for "part B" of the job, which were far more expensive than we were expecting. Unfortunately, because the guy had left, I couldn't get into the "part A" versus "A+B" discussion. (i.e., the price if I don't get the second part done and only the first). Subsequently when I wanted a price for just part "A", all I got was a run around via email and phone. I was told to call to discuss, but each time I called, I was told the other guy's not here so I can't help you. You have my contact info, why can't you get the info and contact me instead of telling me to call you? Maybe the job was too small and they didn't really want it, but I didn't feel like a respected customer, and their antics weren't very professional. So yeah, I once went here some years ago and had a good experience, but this recent one has really soured me. read more

Great service, pricing, and speed. Very satisfied, and they washed the car and left it like new for us.

I live 1.5 hrs away in Massachusetts and found Joe's company thru my son in New Haven. Ive 9 grandchildren , too many cars, accidents and harrowing stories of raising 4 kids and hoping for the best. It's not always worked out but sure feeling lucky & stress free after finding New England Collision. I've NEVER had a claim go as easily.the Respect by Joe toward me then my insurance company then their professional and personal like of him just navigated the potential perils of this headache w no hassle and every bit of actual excitement over their advocacy, quality of work, communication and responsiveness from beginning to end.Sitting in my car feeling I owe y'all the good news that customer service & satisfaction is alive and well here -along w an astute eye for quality ,watching my pocketbook ...and a love for cars and a feeling of being one of the family. I highly recommend this auto shop. My car was pristine when I picked it up!! The damage was completely gone, the paint matched perfectly AND when I opened my car door, the interior was clean and fresh. I was blown away. The repairs were completed within the time frame they estimated and the quote was very reasonable. It was also super helpful that they have rentals available through Hertz on site. If you ever need body work done to your car, this is the place that will get the job done well! read more

They did some restoration on my GMC Sierra. They had to replace the rockers and cab ends. They cut corners on the entire repair and it barely lasted a year and a half. It was bad enough that the rockers felt like cardboard when pushing on them and they were sagging off the vehicle. I went back to have them fix it, they wouldn't honor it. Considering they seem to taut themselves as a shop that does a lot of classic restorations that have rust, I was taken back. They also painted a couple body panels for me that didn't match. I needed to have them repaint 3 times to get them right. Somewhere in the process, they blew a brake line on the truck. They also did some leather restore on my seats that came out half-assed. Steer far away from these guys. The Nissan dealer across the street won't even deal with them.. they know better. read more

After talking to a couple of shops with good Yelp reviews, I settled on New England Collision because I felt like the other guy's "estimate" penciled on the back of his business card was a little fishy. (He also insisted I go through my insurance, even though I wanted to pay out of pocket). On the other hand, Joe from New England Collision provided an honest assessment and an itemized estimate, which was also much more reasonable than the other guy. Above all, the workmanship was solid. read more

Could not have been happier with New England Collision! Someone bumped my car in a parking lot, leaving a dent in the front bumper and a few scratches. The scratches didn't bother me, but the dent did, so wanted to get that removed. I first went to another shop in the area, where they pressured me to completely replace the bumper (at around $1000) and only gave me a quote for getting out the bump (at $250) after I kept asking. At New England Collision, there was none of that: they gave a very reasonable quote for fixing the bump and all the scratches, and when I asked about the possibility of just heating it up/popping it out without any cosmetic work, they offered to do it for free! Ten minutes later, the dent was out, and they even buffed/shined off some of the scratches. Thanks Joe and John, I'll definitely be coming back if I have any other problems! Great people, great service. read more

I can't begin to say enough good things about my experience with New England Collision! I had to have some body work done because my 2015 Nissan Altima was attacked by wild turkeys (yes, turkeys) in the parking lot at work. From the minute I called to bring the car in for an estimate, to the day I picked up the car, Christina and Joe could not have been nicer, more accommodating or more professional. They made the whole process of renting a car, dealing with insurance and getting the job done beautifully, painless! They were a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely recommend them and take my car back if it ever needs additional body work. They are the best! Darlene D. read more

Worst body shop I've been to. They'd have done a better job at Macao. After Joe telling me he'd work the deductible in for me, they call me once it's finished to tell me that it's all set but I have to pay the deductible. I figured no big deal so I went down to pay and pick up my truck. Upon examining my truck, they didn't prep the truck correctly and I had a flaw over a foot long that nobody even checked over or looked at before they tried giving it back to me. While letting joe know that i was upset over the issue, he displayed his poor customer service skills by walking away from me mid conversation and going into the back. Grated i wasnt yelling or being a dick, just talking. After a weekend of having my truck still and them racing through it again, there's still a section that they never fixed. I paid to get it out of there out of their hands. First off, how do you give a car away with a huge imperfection, then bang through it and still have it look like crap? Very unreliable and rushed here. read more

Joe and the crew at NEC are a great team. After reading yelp reviews for several body shops, we decided to use NEC after a fender-bender. I question the authenticity of the other reviews. Quality of work is very substandard. Came to the shop via referral, which I told the owners. Came in for 2 very minor repairs -- basically parking lot type scrapes and very minor dents. Car was returned with blatantly (and I mean OBVIOUSLY) mismatched paint color. There were also countless paint defects from dust and air bubbles, runs that were several inches long, cracked emblems and plastic parts that should have been replaced but weren't. Car was returned to them. Reminded them of the referral/relationship again and gave them a chance to redo the job. Job was redone. Called by the owners and was told the car was perfect. Went back to the shop to pick it up. Paint match was better (not perfect but close). Still TONS of paint defects. I stood in the parking lot for 2 hours while the owner wet sanded and buffed out the defects. This was not particularly successful. Eventually, they gave up and wrote a check for a partial refund and sent me on my way. The partial refund will not cover the cost to redo their very low quality work. Oh, and to make matters worse, the areas that were wet sanded and buffed are now banding and holograming due to the very poor job of buffing. I would never advise using this shop under any circumstance period. I relayed this story also to the person who referred me to the shop (independent insurance agent who has referred other clients as well). He will also discontinue referring customers to the shop. AVOID at all costs. Much as auto body shop experiences can be variable and almost never as good as new, this has been easily my worst experience ever having had repair work done on many vehicles over the last 25 years. read more
