We used to go to this restaurant when it was at Springhill Mall. The food seems to be the same. The atmosphere is actually nicer here and the dining room is very clean and decorated nicely. You have to pay extra for the drink. Make sure you're hungry when you come, Cuz there's lots of good food. I took movies and pictures of the buffet and dining room so you can get a better idea of what they have. Our waitress was really nice and kept bringing my husband refills of his beverage so that was great. I usually just drink water or milk and they didn't have milk as an option so I had to just drink water. Will be back again, but probably not for a while.

The chopsticks are near the sushi area. I just didn't have room in my tummy this time for soup, sushi, or rice; but maybe next time or after a true 24-hour fasting; just as much I found chicken cooked multiple ways some years back at Indian restaurants, this Chinese place is the perfect example of shrimp many ways. There was noticely no stewed clams in thick sauce, lobster, or sashimi...but I am certain I will be back because there is satisfaction element to dining here; the family that runs this place seem to know what they're doing plus the restrooms are fairly clean.

They have a new location. I have visited a few times and the food is good, very nice seating and set up. So friendly! I hope it stays this way because I like everything they offer to eat. Can't wait to come back!

It now feels brighter and a little more lively. They've also moved the customer service desk and it's no longer hidden by slot machines, but it is weirdly placed behind the elevator. I don't think there was anything in this space previously. I wish there were better food options here - the fast casual option is just ok.. I honestly would not pay to eat here again, the prices do not justify, especially after gambling for a few hours. The slots have drastically improved in the last few months, way more of the new machines instead of those poor slots that were on their last leg. There are the occasional machines that have a sticky button or a chair that has seen better days, but overall, I think this place is on an upwards swing.

We've probably been here a dozen times over the past several years and consistently, it's still a…read more3-star spot for me, with the caveat that if you know what you're getting and what to expect, it's perfectly fine. This is an affordable, all-you-can-eat, American-style buffet. In the last years, they've added a bit more variety and diversified their offerings slightly. You'll still find the basics -- pasta, mac & cheese, chicken, pizza, roast beef, and a salad bar -- but now there's also steak at the grill (expect a line or some wait at times), a taco bar with custom quesadilla requests, and even a waffle station. And they get bonus points for having disposable gloves available at the buffet stations. I genuinely enjoy the salad bar and soup stations. They usually have chili, chicken noodle soup, and my favorite -- clam chowder, which is surprisingly decent. My typical plate includes salads, cooked vegetables, a little meat, some soup, and yes... I'm a sucker for the pizza, which my kids also love. We always finish with dessert. The dessert section is extensive: pies, cakes, donuts (new), an ice cream machine with edible cones, and plenty of toppings like M&Ms, gummies, caramel and chocolate syrup. They also have bagged cotton candy ready to go -- and yes, you can take it home. Naturally, this is the kids' favorite area. What could really use improvement -- is the building itself. It's clearly overdue for renovation, especially the restrooms (at least on the women's side). They're usable, but barely. Some stall doors don't close properly, some require double latching, and others need a full body shove to shut. Toilet paper holders are falling off their hinges, automatic flush buttons don't always work, and you sometimes have to flush manually. The sinks and hand dryers do work, and there is soap and paper towels available, but overall the space could use better upkeep, fragrance, and general maintenance. I'm not complaining -- just pointing out that aesthetics and functionality could definitely be improved. That said, we still come here fairly often -- a few times a year at least. It's affordable, easy, and the kids love it. Dinner pricing for us was $10 per child and $18 per adult. Kids' meals include drinks (like strawberry lemonade), while adult sodas are an extra $3.59. During the week, kids can sometimes eat free or for as low as $3 with a paying adult, though we usually come on weekends and haven't tried those deals. Also, during the summer reading months, they partner with local libraries to give out free meal tickets for kids who participate which is nice. Then year round, there is also senior pricing available. We consistently receive great table service from Dominic, who clears plates quickly, refills drinks, and works very hard -- we always make sure to tip him. The rest of the staff also seems to work hard. During our most recent visit, they were decorating for Valentine's Day, and there was even a painter working on the glass, which was fun to watch. Additionally, they have a couple TVs in the dining areas and it keeps the kids entertained for a few minutes. I see many families come whenever we dine and kids settle in with their iPads. This place is definitely a go-to for many. Overall, we'll continue coming back, as we've done many times before. The food quality is average -- exactly what you'd expect from a buffet -- but you'll leave full if you come hungry. As with any buffet, this is not a great option if you have food allergies, strict dietary restrictions, or concerns about cross-contamination. In short, if you know what to expect, this can be a decent, no-hassle dinner option and a nice break for parents who don't want to cook multiple meals at home. Bonus tip: During colder months, the tables near the hot foods & dessert bar tend to feel warmer than those near the salad bar (as those areas have cool air for the salads) though the salad bar dining side is closer to the restrooms.

Seeing how this is a buffet, I think the food is as good as one can expect. From steak to fried chicken to fried shrimp to tacos, pizza, meatloaf and much more. This place will mostly satisfy any of your cravings and not break the bank. Only thing is I wish they would renovate the bathroom a bit, it's disgusting in there.

Then my food is brought out but before I can leave I'm told that they made a mistake on line with pricing and I owe them $0.75 more which I did not care and gave them $.08 but I wonder if they owed me the $.75 if they would be so willing to give it back to me. Then the owner comes out and starts taking my food out. If you place an order $50 or more you get an appetizer for free. our previous visit they forgot it and we were told the next time when we place an order to remind them and they will give us one. So since this order was over $50, I got one appetizer for free plus the appetizer that they forgot about last time. The owner comes out and starts digging out the additional appetizer. You only get one you only get one. Which I nicely explained to her that they owed us two. Very unpleasant woman. But the disappointment comes when I get home and opened all of the containers. Mongolian beef was horrible. It's called Mongolian beef because it's supposed to have beef . The dish is 90% onion couple noodles throw in and a little bit of beef ....just horrible. Same thing with other two meals where you had majority of vegetables and no meats or shrimp. Very disappointed with the order. They are becoming hidden and miss restaurant. You never know if you're gonna get a good order or a crappy order like we got today.

In the big Algonquin commons strip alongside other restaurants, Jiangs is a bit of a budget option for many. It is however decently vegan friendly. However, they differ greatly from Yummy in a lot of ways: 1. Sauces are marked vegan, although the garlic sauce should say it even if it's just minced garlic. 2: rice is not required and you could fill your bowl with whatever 3: filler goes separately 4: salad bar 5:soups/rice So this means that as a vegan I can easily skip meat, load up on veggies and tofu, pick sauces and filler, and have a salad bar while I wait for my food (or soup etc). Naturally the salad bar is pretty basic, but it is a plus to me as a vegan I suppose. They do have a menu but I have not seen anyone actually order off of it vs doing the stirfry. Of course none of the soups are vegan by the salad bar but that's okay! The bowl for meats and veggies is smaller than Yummy, but you don't have to put in filler so that's a bit different of a situation. On top of that, there's a noticeably large amount of seasoning options at the end of the process. They've always been consistent on their cooking. Jiangs is a bit of a hidden gem, but it's definitely worth a visit. We go here often, for a reason. I just did again, tonight.
