When I finally had a chance to stop by I was face with disregard, then I finally called since I didn't hear from the owner about a month later, I was told they had been discarded. Unfortunately, there was no notice given, and the conversation felt more argumentative than understanding. These sunglasses were sentimental to me, and while I understand that businesses may have policies, I was disappointed by the lack of care and communication around a client's personal belongings. This experience affected my trust and overall impression of customer care. A month is not enough to trow customer belongings away without calling them first and assuring that they'll stop by to pick them up and assume that they'll just be forgotten. This is not so much about the sentimental value of the sunglasses but about being respected and treated with dignity. I hate to have to leave a bad review for them as is sometimes I almost never like to do but given her mannerism and demeanor I cat let this happen to another person and to our community.

We came on a Saturday early afternoon and started at one of their restaurants. The food was amazing, but service was definitely on the slower side. After that, we headed over to the spa and spent the rest of the day relaxing by the pool. The vibe was so calm, mostly women just chatting, unwinding, and enjoying each other in this peaceful little paradise. We ordered smoothies poolside and omg...so fresh and refreshing. Service at the spa pool was great, everyone seemed to be working together seamlessly and checking in often without being overbearing. At least, as long as you have the time, you can certainly get your money's worth. The gym and most guided classes are included in your treatment fee, as well as access to the rest of the spa amenities (saunas, pools, etc). We arrived an hour and a half before our treatment because we saw that there was a Yoga Sculpt class scheduled for the morning. It was a beautiful outdoor environment under a small pavilion near one of the pools. It was very thoughtfully set up with all of the necessary equipment for each guest (yoga mat, weights, blanket, and a water). The instructor was very friendly, and it felt like the perfect warm up for our massages! From there, we checked in and were given local kombucha as a welcome on the way to our lockers. Most of the amenities are in the gendered areas including locker rooms with showers, a relaxation fireplace room with tea, indoor sauna, steam room, hot tub, and outdoor infrared sauna. I heard the men's side has a cold plunge, but I did not see one on the women's side. Upstairs is the shared waiting room for men and women. We were told to head up there prior to our massages, where we could have a snack and enjoy cucumber water and lavender lemonade. My massage was wonderful and relaxing. I think each treatment room has a fireplace so it was very cozy. Afterwards, I was given dandelion tea and a gluten free lemon cookie in the waiting room. We then checked out the Spa Cafe, and took a nap by the pool. They have sunscreen for you to use out there too. I really loved my visit to Spa Ojai. It's definitely a place to go for a special occasion, but worth a visit every now and then with some girlfriends!

I was recommended to her by a friend, and I am SO happy I went. She not only massaged my migraine away while I was there, but worked out pains and aches I hadn't even realized I'd been carrying (likely for the last 6 months that I've been pregnant!). I left feeling so much better, even better than when I take migraine prescription medication pre-pregnancy. I would highly recommend Becca to anyone, and even more so if they are pregnant!!
