I made an appointment a day in advance for Leo and also paid for it. My daughter showed up and reminded them she had an appointment with Leo and they said ", yes, yes! She laid on the table and was given a horrible massage it was a woman that gave a weak massage (which is why we asked for Leo). I called to tell them we want to get a credit. Alice said they will definitely refund our money. I said that wasn't necessary as we go there often - just a credit for a new massage. She said she will do that. If she does take care of this we will change this review to 4 stars as that is the proper response to this. We love both AA and Bamboo creek but sometimes the massage is a bit of a "miss" and we want to help them improve to be better. Hopeful! read more

I booked a 60 min massage and halfway thru changed my mind to a 30 min. I didn't get the woman's name, but it was a really poor massage. No technique and when I opened my eyes as she was lazily massaging my hand, I saw her picking her nose with her other hand while she was sitting. It was just unprofessional overall. I'm not one to complain about massages, but this was just not a good job. Disappointing. read more

I was really disappointed with my visit. When I signed in, I filled out the paper clearly requesting a fast and hard massage, but my therapist was very gentle the whole time. It didn't match what I asked for, and I honestly didn't feel much benefit. At checkout, I added a 16% tip, but the front desk told me I had to leave 20%. I've never had a place refuse a tip that I chose to give. Tips are supposed to be optional, not demanded. The language barrier was keeping me from letting JESSICA know this. 20% to get rubbed? No thanks. Between not getting the type of massage I requested and being pressured to pay more at the end, I left unhappy and won't be returning. read more

The actual massage and the prices are both excellent. However the cleanliness is questionable. Blankets are reused for everyone. There's nothing protecting the beds that you're laying on. They put one thin paper towel down on the face cradle. The main reason I'm giving it two stars is that in the last few years I've only been there twice and the first time I thought it was a total fluke, but I got a horrible cold a few days after going here, and my masseuse was clearing his throat and coughing the whole time. I rarely get sick, but after this last time going, I remember thinking how strange it was that another masseuse next to me sounded sick and same with a little girl that was laying on the bed next to me. A few days later, I came down with a horrible cold. Now that I've been sick twice after frequenting this place I will not be going back. read more

I stopped in for a 30-minute chair massage with Leo and had one of the best massage experiences I've ever had. His pressure was intuitive, intentional, and incredibly effective -- not just a routine massage, but truly therapeutic work. He took the time to focus on areas that needed real release, and by the end I felt a level of relief and reset I haven't experienced from chair massage before. He even finished with a gentle upper back stretch that provided immediate relief. I walked in carrying a lot of tension and left feeling clear, relaxed, and physically renewed. The pricing is very reasonable, and the quality of care is exceptional. I will absolutely be returning and requesting Leo again. Highly recommend. read more

The person who was giving me a foot massage was sick. He was coughing and he didn't look good. It was during the holiday season and it was very busy. I should have stopped him and walked out. I got very sick with flu symptoms a few days later. The 2 guys working were also making schedules with the person answering the phone which was awkward while massaging my feet. Also all you can hear are dogs barking the entire time and then when I left I saw there is a pet grooming shop next door which is why you hear dogs barking the entire time. The massage was very hard and not even relaxing. I will never go back. read more

I've had good experiences here before but am so sad to say I had such a rough and rushed massage here tonight. I rarely get massages though I love them. Tim was rushed and spent 45 mins of our hour together on my back. I had to tell him to go "less hard" 3 times it was so stressful I ended up crying and wanting to leave. The stones were so hot they were burning my hands he placed them in and the massage wasn't nice until I yelled at him to slow down. It was just so strange and rough for me. Yes I left a tip. He did his job but they don't understand English or read your preferences when you arrive that they ask for :( read more

It's cheap, local, and the people are nice. I'm just not sure they're trained therapists and just rub your feet to be honest. However, for the price, it helped. read more

Awesome massages. I've had many foot massages on Matillija St. location plus some chair massages. Also several full body massages at their Ojai Bamboo Spa location. Both locations offer a quiet peaceful atmosphere and their employees are skilled, professional, and responsive to one's needs. Did i read more

Amazing place to relax friendly staff Good price service was so amazing Will go back again to this place read more

Efficient, clean, easy walk-in and great prices. The typical reflexology offerings - you can sit in a chair and get a neck rub with a foot-focused massage; you can get a fully clothed body massage (acupressure-type massage); or a full body hot oil massage. The therapists were friendly and accommodating, highly recommend! read more

1000% recommend! I came to visit Ojai for the first time and suddenly felt a big pinch on my upper left shoulder making my neck hard to turn all day! Then went to this massage place and it was amazing. I'm so used to going to massage places where you get nearly undressed on a massage table, but this is not that type of place. You can keep your clothes on and get the best foot/full body massage combination for a really great price. I did the combination massage and it felt amazing. The staff is really friendly! We did a walk in, but then realized it was probably best to make an appointment. They were able to put us down for 2 people an hour later. So thankful for this spot! Saved my weekend and the pain was nearly gone afterwards. 10/10 recommend! read more

Aa Relaxing Station - Massage Near Me - Ojai, California

I've been here a few times and the experience is usually pretty good and the prices are really good. However, it is very unorganized. I just came as a walk in and was told they could see me in 30 minutes. After waiting 40 minutes, the masseuse came up and told me he couldn't see me and to come back in an hour. read more

Great massages at great prices! Friendly staff. They are very intuitive and go right to the places on your body that are most in need. Face-down clothes-on massages in a clean and lovely environment. read more

I visited AA Relaxation Station with my cousin for full body massages, but unfortunately, both of us developed severe eye infections about two weeks after our visits. As we live in different parts of California and experienced this simultaneously, we suspect the infections might have originated from our visits there. Furthermore, a friend mentioned that during her massage at AA Relaxing Station, she smelled someone else's sweat while lying face down on the table. This raises concerns about the cleanliness of the tables and their hygiene practices in general. While I can't be certain about the exact cause of the infections, I wanted to share our experiences so they can potentially address any cleaning or hygiene issues so this can't happen to anyone else. read more

Had no idea where to get a massage. Called various businesses in Ojai and was unable to find one that could accommodate me today. Fortunately, took a chance and was pleasantly surprised! Great service! Affordable, efficient, timely and helped my sore back! read more

Love this place! Every time I visit Ojai, I make at least one trip here. I usually get the 60 minute combo but the foot spa is also great!

Excellent message in a calming , clean environment. I live coming here and all the employees are very professional .

This is our first visit and want to start with the positive. The people working were very nice and the place looked clean. We picked this place because they had chairs as well as tables so liked that. The first thing that hit us was the smell of Bengay. Very overwhelming. when you check in you have to converse with them but you're in the same room where people are getting spa treatments disturbing them as one lady made a point to let us know. We tried to be a quiet as we could. The other downside is they are right next to a dog spa on the East side and had to listen to the constant sound of dogs barking, probably not their fault but annoying just the same. If I go back I would do things a little differently. Just my thoughts. I hope you have a good experience there.... read more

I go here every 2-3 months. They offer a few different services. Body massage, chair massage and or foot massage. You can do a combination of any of there services too. The prices are really reasonable. The place is clean and during Covid they leave the doors and windows open for fresh air. This last time I went it was right after they opened on a monday morning (10am) and I had the whole place to myself. They usually are pretty busy so this was a nice change. I had a 60 minute combination massage($45). I always have one of the women do my treatment. Love Helen, she takes her time to work out any knots. 30 full body and the foot massage, they soak your feet for a couple of minutes the massage with lotion and finish with a hot towel. This is such a treat and for the price you cant beat it. So, enjoy! read more

Great massage. It's a shame that they have a dog groomer right next door. It kinda messes with the relaxation part. But, we will go back again. read more

Affordable massage option after a busy day of walking. Easy to schedule, and the full body massage was wonderful.

Worst massage ever. The lady had no idea how to do a massage and just basically wasted my time and money. $62 for what? She attempted to get me sexually aroused but she was too old and the massage was too bad for anything extra. Never again! read more

Wow! I was so impressed with this Chinese foot massage place in Ojai. They are probably the most organized and clean foot massage place I've ever been to. Their English isn't good but they get their message across. They give you a short form to fill out beforehand that asks you how strong of a pressure you prefer and which massage and how long you'd like. My therapist name was Tim and he was so strong and effective. I would definitely come back here when I am in Ojai! read more

Opposite of relaxation. Just wanted it to be over. The communication and service is lacking big time. They had us fill out a form describing what pressure we would like, we chose slow and medium. The entire time it felt like a sharp elbow uncomfortably digging into my body. We even asked for softer pressure, and they didn't listen. Feeling worse after. Do not recommend this place. read more

Aa Relaxing Station - Bruises from massage - Massage Near Me - Ojai, California

I did a walk-in and signed up for an hour full body massage for later that evening. The price is really unbeatable! I asked for hard pressure and they really delivered omg. Despite it being a clothes on massage, they were really able to loosen my knots. Minus 1 star only because my masseuse kept having to go to the front desk so I didn't get my full hour. read more

Wow wee! I've had a lot of professional massages over the years. Today's stands out. I had the 90 minute hot rocks & foot massage combo with Anna. It was off the charts. Please don't leave Ojai feeling tight or tense. See Anna first. read more

Excellent hot stone massage. Very well done, relaxing. Got me in on short notice. Clean and good vibe here. Highly recommend.

A little bit noisy from the pet grooming next door but the massage therapist make the noise dissolve away. Very impressed with their massage techniques over your clothes. I will definitely return for $50 one hour massage. read more

Got a foot massage here with Tom after a 7 mile hike! THE BEST! so good that I came back the next day for a combo massage.

Great massage and price. Will be returning on my next trip. Felt amazing, pick a lower level if you don't want it to be too intense!

Professional deep tissue massage, and if they feel a knot, they work on it to release tension beautifully. English is not their strong suite but their massage technique makes up for that a thousand times. I like that you can also get a massage as a group of 2-4 as well and they can accommodate that. Very nice and sweet people! read more

Was able to get a walk-in appointment with my friend for a 60 min combo. We both got the combo and while the guy that did the table massage was standard. The girl they switched me to for the foot massage gave such a half assed effort. She kept looking at the time and pausing, meaning not giving me a massage or she was listening to conversations (I can understand Mandarin but often don't let on I do) and then pause and not massage, this happened multiple times. Was getting so annoyed. And her massage was crap. Could have gotten a better massage from one of those plug in devices. I would avoid her. The guy my friend got looked good, as he was pretty focused and my friend really enjoyed the guy she had. read more

Such wonderful massages! We went in today for an hour massage and they did such an amazing job! Deep tissue work and for a price you can't beat! read more

This place is great for the price. When I went it was $40 per hour which I thought was great for what you get. This is quite literally a Chinese massage place and most of the workers don't speak a lot of English outside of the basics (harder, softer, etc) and they try to follow American etiquette as much as they can, but the general service is pretty authentically Chinese. If you are expecting American spa service hospitality, this probably won't be there place for you. As for the folks I got great service from: Helen is fantastic at full body massage, despite her small stature she can use her elbows to great affect to work out stubborn knots and her hands could probably squeeze blood from a stone. She's great at getting some shoulders, back, and got all the spots in the back of my thighs and calves that had been giving me trouble. Tim gives great chair massage, if you are looking to get tension released from your shoulders and back, this guy is awesome, especially if you are a fan of deep tissue work or you need a LOT of pressure!! read more

Always great. Fast and affordable. You can walk in and they always accommodate you. Highly recommended it!

Wow! 1 hr full body massage and I feel TRANSFORMED! This will be part of my itinerary next time I visit Ojai.

I hate leaving one star ratings for small businesses but this was the worst massage I have ever gotten. Im rating this based on other budget friendly Chinese massage spots. I didn't enjoy my massage at all. Beautiful place inside and they were able to fit us in the same day. But my massage guy kept putting his elbow on my spine. And didn't have any pressure/ technique at all. I kept asking him to stop the elbow and even gave him a visual but he didn't understand. He was nice about it but yeah I was close to stopping the whole thing. My husband however said his was okay. It really depends who you get. But yeah, this one was a no for me. read more
