I made an appointment a day in advance for Leo and also paid for it. My daughter showed up and reminded them she had an appointment with Leo and they said ", yes, yes! She laid on the table and was given a horrible massage it was a woman that gave a weak massage (which is why we asked for Leo). I called to tell them we want to get a credit. Alice said they will definitely refund our money. I said that wasn't necessary as we go there often - just a credit for a new massage. She said she will do that. If she does take care of this we will change this review to 4 stars as that is the proper response to this. The actual massage and the prices are both excellent. However the cleanliness is questionable. Blankets are reused for everyone. There's nothing protecting the beds that you're laying on. They put one thin paper towel down on the face cradle. The main reason I'm giving it two stars is that in the last few years I've only been there twice and the first time I thought it was a total fluke, but I got a horrible cold a few days after going here, and my masseuse was clearing his throat and coughing the whole time. I rarely get sick, but after this last time going, I remember thinking how strange it was that another masseuse next to me sounded sick and same with a little girl that was laying on the bed next to me. I was really disappointed with my visit. When I signed in, I filled out the paper clearly requesting a fast and hard massage, but my therapist was very gentle the whole time. It didn't match what I asked for, and I honestly didn't feel much benefit. At checkout, I added a 16% tip, but the front desk told me I had to leave 20%. I've never had a place refuse a tip that I chose to give. Tips are supposed to be optional, not demanded. The language barrier was keeping me from letting JESSICA know this. 20% to get rubbed? I've had good experiences here before but am so sad to say I had such a rough and rushed massage here tonight. I rarely get massages though I love them. Tim was rushed and spent 45 mins of our hour together on my back. I had to tell him to go "less hard" 3 times it was so stressful I ended up crying and wanting to leave. The stones were so hot they were burning my hands he placed them in and the massage wasn't nice until I yelled at him to slow down. It was just so strange and rough for me. Yes I left a tip. The person who was giving me a foot massage was sick. He was coughing and he didn't look good. It was during the holiday season and it was very busy. I should have stopped him and walked out. I got very sick with flu symptoms a few days later. The 2 guys working were also making schedules with the person answering the phone which was awkward while massaging my feet. Also all you can hear are dogs barking the entire time and then when I left I saw there is a pet grooming shop next door which is why you hear dogs barking the entire time. I visited AA Relaxation Station with my cousin for full body massages, but unfortunately, both of us developed severe eye infections about two weeks after our visits. As we live in different parts of California and experienced this simultaneously, we suspect the infections might have originated from our visits there. Furthermore, a friend mentioned that during her massage at AA Relaxing Station, she smelled someone else's sweat while lying face down on the table. This raises concerns about the cleanliness of the tables and their hygiene practices in general. While I can't be certain about the exact cause of the infections, I wanted to share our experiences so they can potentially address any cleaning or hygiene issues so this can't happen to anyone else. read more

This is our first visit and want to start with the positive. The people working were very nice and the place looked clean. We picked this place because they had chairs as well as tables so liked that. The first thing that hit us was the smell of Bengay. Very overwhelming. when you check in you have to converse with them but you're in the same room where people are getting spa treatments disturbing them as one lady made a point to let us know. We tried to be a quiet as we could. The other downside is they are right next to a dog spa on the East side and had to listen to the constant sound of dogs barking, probably not their fault but annoying just the same. I go here every 2-3 months. They offer a few different services. Body massage, chair massage and or foot massage. You can do a combination of any of there services too. The prices are really reasonable. The place is clean and during Covid they leave the doors and windows open for fresh air. This last time I went it was right after they opened on a monday morning (10am) and I had the whole place to myself. They usually are pretty busy so this was a nice change. I had a 60 minute combination massage($45). I always have one of the women do my treatment. Love Helen, she takes her time to work out any knots. 30 full body and the foot massage, they soak your feet for a couple of minutes the massage with lotion and finish with a hot towel. Wow! I was so impressed with this Chinese foot massage place in Ojai. They are probably the most organized and clean foot massage place I've ever been to. Their English isn't good but they get their message across. Was able to get a walk-in appointment with my friend for a 60 min combo. We both got the combo and while the guy that did the table massage was standard. The girl they switched me to for the foot massage gave such a half assed effort. She kept looking at the time and pausing, meaning not giving me a massage or she was listening to conversations (I can understand Mandarin but often don't let on I do) and then pause and not massage, this happened multiple times. Was getting so annoyed. And her massage was crap. Could have gotten a better massage from one of those plug in devices. I would avoid her. This place is great for the price. When I went it was $40 per hour which I thought was great for what you get. This is quite literally a Chinese massage place and most of the workers don't speak a lot of English outside of the basics (harder, softer, etc) and they try to follow American etiquette as much as they can, but the general service is pretty authentically Chinese. If you are expecting American spa service hospitality, this probably won't be there place for you. As for the folks I got great service from: Helen is fantastic at full body massage, despite her small stature she can use her elbows to great affect to work out stubborn knots and her hands could probably squeeze blood from a stone. She's great at getting some shoulders, back, and got all the spots in the back of my thighs and calves that had been giving me trouble. Tim gives great chair massage, if you are looking to get tension released from your shoulders and back, this guy is awesome, especially if you are a fan of deep tissue work or you need a LOT of pressure!! read more

I hate leaving one star ratings for small businesses but this was the worst massage I have ever gotten. Im rating this based on other budget friendly Chinese massage spots. I didn't enjoy my massage at all. Beautiful place inside and they were able to fit us in the same day. But my massage guy kept putting his elbow on my spine. And didn't have any pressure/ technique at all. I kept asking him to stop the elbow and even gave him a visual but he didn't understand. He was nice about it but yeah I was close to stopping the whole thing. My husband however said his was okay. It really depends who you get. But yeah, this one was a no for me. read more
