Food lukewarm and slightly cold. talked with manager and he said the health department only requires them to keep the food at 135 degrees. I tried to tell him that it wasn't even that temperature but he didn't want to listen. the water under the buffet dishes may be 135 but the food isn't. could not eat the food and do not recommend this place. This is a clean looking restaurant. All the food looks great but is very bland. The grill offers a lot of different meats but only teriyaki sauce, no garlic or hot sauce. I asked for no sauce and they sauced it anyway. They have a soft serve machine, vanilla only. No real desserts, some cookies. Very limited sushi, also bland. The wait staff is attentive enough. We stopped in for lunch that might be why they had almost an entire buffet island with condiment packets. read more

Absolutely the best Chinese food I have ever eaten at a Buffett or delivered to home. Steaming hot and delicious. Whole sea food bar and fried food bar section. Hot grill with raw bar to desire for your choices. WOW. Even during covid speaking of which you must Wear gloves (provided) and mask to Buffett. A Roanoke Rapids favorite! I have been going here since I was a little girl. I have never had a bad experience. The food is amazing, staff is quick to seat you, and drinks are always filled! The price is awesome too. I love the buffet with hibachi grill the most, but the lunch special is a great alternative when you can't dine in! It is only $5 a plate with lots of food, including an egg roll. It is made within 15 minutes. It usually lasts me multiple meals! read more

Very clean restaurant with friendly staff. Food was hot and fresh. The prepared meat selection was not very large compared to many similar buffets, but still enough to choose from. This is an extensive Chinese buffet with a hibachi grill. It is bright and clean. The waitress is attentive but not intrusive. The location is in the shopping district and convenient. The food is standard Chinese buffet things like sesame chicken and sweet and sour pork. Nothing really creative but it's prepared well and has good flavor. I would come back again. read more

As Chinese buffets go this is above average. You can also order off the menu if you don't want all you can eat. Has the usual Chinese fare but what makes this place special is the Grill. You can pick from several different veggies plus chicken, steak & fish & have it grilled fresh. Great selections so even vegetarians should be able to get their fill! This seems to be a local favorite & is packed after church on Sunday. Even at that, the place is good sized so we have never had to wait (even on Sunday.). They have takeout also that is quite good. We came here on our way to Wilson. Food wasn't that great, with difficulty find something to eat. Everything was fried and unhealthy, but can't expect any better from a buffet. My issue was the rudeness of this old Asian woman. I just asked politely why does it say in the front its $8 something and you charge us $9.50? Not very good. Limited selections on buffet and as the night progressed the staff tightened up the buffet but didn't move the food labels. Didn't matter most of it tastes the same. Only good thing I could say is I think it was real wasabi at the 2 offering of the sushi table. read more

We are Chinese food lovers but this restaurant displayed some disappointment. The buffet did not appear fresh and some of the foods were either lukewarm or cold. We arrive for dinner time at 5pm. Most of the foods have been sitting a long time and the meats were tough. The staff needs to monitor the foods much closer especially when it is getting near dinner time.
