1 Star - Serious Health Concern…read more While visiting Ruby Tuesday in Roanoke Rapids, my family and I witnessed a German cockroach crawling on the salad bar, which was supposed to be fresh and ready for guests. I immediately notified management. The only response I received was, "Oh my goodness." There was no attempt to remove food, clean the area, or address the issue in any way. Because of this, we chose to leave and not eat our food. A roach is disturbing on its own, but a German cockroach is commonly associated with infestations, which raises serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety. I have photo and video evidence of what we saw. Additionally, the restaurant appeared severely understaffed. We waited over 20 minutes just to be acknowledged and seated. This experience was unacceptable and concerning from a public health standpoint. I do not recommend eating at this location and will not be returning.

On the morning of the event, Travis, the manager on duty, personally took my call and assured me everything would be ready right on time. Jessica and Travis worked seamlessly as a team to ensure every detail was handled in the most professional way.
