I live nearby but never get to stop in. I decided to finally come in and see what it's all about. The sign on 290 is large but it definitely is difficult to pull over and turn when you're on a fast highway. I drive on the road and saw a fork in the road which was a little confusing. Since it says "farm", I was expecting a store that had homemade goods, maybe with handwritten items and a small shop near fruit trees so I nearly took the road to the right. Glad I didn't. I took the left entrance and parked under some trees. I went in and was immediately greeted by a lady who welcomed us and told us about the specials and how everything is made right behind the wall. There were samples all laid out with crackers and tortilla chips. I tried everything. They're pretty good! Not only is there fruit jams and jellies but also fruit salsas. They also have herbs perfect for chili, dips, and marinades. They have gift boxes and the lay mentioned they can even mail out items if customers want. There's some cookbooks out, cards and cookbooks out written by The Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond. Being that they have different jars all the time and different specials and gift box sets, it's perfect for something to pick up for guests who visit or Christmas gifts. The only problem I had was trying to get there. There's a road or a few before the turn to the farm and when you're on a fast highway, this can cause an accident when the driver needs to slow down to see which road to take. Hopefully there will be a turning lane for it soon with a ground sign pointing towards the right road. read more
