Just thought I'd rave about this business even more. I have thrifted all over the place in different states, local thrift stores and big chains like good will, this is MY FAVORITE THRIFT STORE OF ALL TIME. If you're in northern Michigan this is a must-go location. I'm living in Chicago now and currently laying next to my bed side lamp/table hybrid I got from here years ago. every summer I go here probably a half dozen times minimum

Mixed feelings about this store. It's very clean and well organized, it's kind of got the vibe of a…read moresmall version of clothes mentor if you've ever been to that chain. The selection is pretty good and fairly fashionable/current but the prices are a bit high for a second hand store. There are little sections of what appears to be handmade jewelry around the store which is really pretty. The thing that turned me off most to this store was the sign in the dressing room yelling at the customer to put back the clothes they try on. What? What self respecting store does that? It's just pure laziness. I don't think even gold mine forces their customers to put their clothes back on the rack and they're a charity and volunteer run! You're also greeted by a "no public bathroom" sign before you even step in the door which just makes it seem really unwelcoming. If I was the owners/workers (listen up guys!) I would take down that sign and if anyone asks for a bathroom then you say "sorry we don't have one, but there's one down the block in front of park side deli". That way you're being helpful and not accusatory. As for the dressing room sign, come on. I get it it can get busy but you're asking your customers to do your job for you. If you really can't for whatever reason find yourself to put the clothes back, a sign hat says "In this busy summer season, it would be very helpful to us if you could return clothes to where you found them after trying them on. Thank you :)"
