I got to talk Theo myself, and the guy is super knowledgeable, kind, and speaks very very good French and English. There's no problem at all, and I'd say both his clarity and kindness makes him a better communicator than most. I highly recommend anyone to check it this place if you need any work done of your vehicle. Theo even goes farther in detail to show you what work will be done on the vehicle, and to find you cheaper alternatives. And is just an easy phone call away.

I asked him verify my AC to see if it was an issue with the compressor that needs replacing or if it could be fixed. Instead of just verifying he said he "fixed it" and asked me for 50$. I stupidly gave him the money before checking the work. I told him that the air wasn't cold at all, it was warm as opposed to hot. He said it would cost me 200$ to fix it because he has to refill the whole thing. I told him I had no problem paying the 200$ if it'll be fixed as I wanted from the start.. I said I didn't pay 50$ for warm air instead of hot air so please include this as part of the "real total" to get it fixed. He refused, argues and said I'll have to pay 200$ separately. Will never come back here again and do not recommend this place to anyone who would like honest work, where they can trust someone with their car and money. Learn to at least speak English OR French... and don't steal people's money by doing something that they never asked for and still not fixing the issue. This is unacceptable.

I had a little over an hour to get to Brockville for an appointment so Troy took me in right away. He pointed out that I really was in need of 4 new tires, but I just didn't have the time. Well my car is in today getting 4 new tires, and I can't thank them enough for looking after me in my time of need. I would highly recommend you swing by and visit Troy and the gang at the Kanata location the next time you're in the market for tires and service. Great Job Guys!!!

I find that the staff are not pro-active with safety checks or in checking if there are other mechanical issues. I've been told on a number of occasions that I would get a phone call when work is done, but I get no call. In one instance, I called to report that I would be late for my scheduled appointment, but the msg was never relayed to the service dept and thus, I was penalized by being made to wait an extra day. Not really an issue for me, but I'm pretty sure my boss doesn't appreciate paying me to sit around for 4 hours. Perhaps Frisby treats its private customers differently than they do the individuals who drive fleet vehicles, but in my mind, a customer is a customer - whether I pay or my boss pays. My most recent experience has made up my mind about Frisby Tire; I will not be bringing my personal vehicle to get new tires or any sort of service done and I will definitely not be recommending them.

We approached several other shops in the area but all didn't have the time or resources to inspect the issue although one local shop did give me the contact info for Hinton Automotive. As you can image, panic had already set in for us but thank god these people stepped up and managed to accommodate us into their already slammed busy day. When we arrived at their location we were met with a warmth and understanding of our predicament and were accepted into open arms. All I can say is they're feeling of care settled my families fears of being stranded on the road. Anyone who has ever experienced an on road break down can relate with the stress but the staff of Hinton automotive made sure to get us back up and mobile so we could continue our trip. Amazing staff and service. I will be forever grateful for the help from Hinton Automotive. Best wishes to the staff and crew. Amazing work and service.

I have been a client of Roy Rump & Sons for about 4 years now and each time I've needed them, I was made to feel welcome by both the front-desk folks and the mechanical technicians. They explain all repairs clearly and with patience. They always provide as accurate an estimate as possible and, if they diagnose an issue and discover it was a simpler fix than they thought at the time, they gladly tell me that it will not cost as much to fix and that kind of honesty is why I will never go anywhere else. They always send me reports with digital photos and videos of the work along with their recommendations to keep my SUV in good working condition. There in only one little drawback... because they are so popular for all the things I mentioned, they are very busy a lot of the time and it can affect how soon they can book an appointment with you but, it is always worth the wait. I can't say enough great things about this Garage. Don't waste your time or your money elsewhere. Cynthia F.

Car repairs are not cheap, in general. I think I was charged fairly and got great service. I'm also gonna note here, this business was recommended on my neighbourhood FB page. I notice 2 horrible reviews her on yelp. On google they have a near perfect score. In my opinion, the two reviews don't hold water. One is by someone listed as being in California, with only one review. The other is local, also one review. I'm guessing they are fake accounts. Do with that what you will.
