I purchased a hoodie and had some embroidering done to it. When I went to go pick it up i said the hoodie should be XL and this is an L. They said I was wrong and the size I picked is on the receipt. I gave them the receipt and the lady said there's no size on there. So now I have a $60 hoodie that is too small , I can't return and yet you admitted that you can prove what size I asked for. Awful service! I went in on a Sunday afternoon asking to order a custom shirt for the next day. They assured me after asking numerous times that it would be done by the next morning at 11am. I got there at 11:30 and not only was it not done but the person who does them was off that day. I was pretty upset as I needed the shirt for that day. The owner said she can have it done by the next day but I wouldn't need it at that point. I told her this was awful customer service and I want my money back and that's when the theatrics started! She started screaming at the top of her lungs that I know nothing about awful customer service! She then proceeded to throw $42 at me however I pre paid $44.10!! I told her I wanted the extra $2.10 back and she said I left that as a tip! So I said 'a tip for what I never received my product and I want my money back! She started screaming more and eventually went to the cash and gave me $2.10. I could write more as her behaviour was absolutely insane. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! AVOID THIS PLACE! THE OLDER LADY IS MEAN, RUDE, DISMISSIVE, MANIPULATIVE! There are a lot of other places to take your business, don't give her your money! AVOID THIS PLACE! Here's my experience: I call ahead of time to ask if she can do an order for me and tell her when I need it, she says yes and to come to the store that same day. So I do, when I get there I give her what I need, and then she talks rudely saying that what I'm asking isn't possible and that it takes 3 hours and then acts like she's doing me a HUGE special favour and that she will squeeze the order in for me even though on the phone I explained and told her and she said she could do it. So then, we agree on a date and she says it'll be ready for 3pm and that it'll probably be done earlier like 230pm. I say ok and we proceed. So on the day of pick up, I call the store at 1:47pm to confirm pick up time so I can plan my day, then she tells me it's NOT even started yet and that it won't be ready, and asks if later is ok, and I said no. Then she says well it's busy and then she tries to give me a later date and I say no, then she finally says, "Stop wasting my time and I can put it on a machine high speed then." I was stunned by how she was treating me, and I tried calling back to cancel, to which she completely ignored my calls from then going forward. I go in person to the store and tell her it's not nice what she said and that I didn't appreciate it, we go back and forth and she keeps trying to blame me and put it on me and say that she didn't break any agreement because it wasn't 3pm although the only reason she started working on my order was because I called ahead of my pick up time, and then she rudely explained she could put the machine on high speed like it was outrageous that I wanted my piece done at the agreed upon time. I leave, and come back at 3:11pm, the lady doesn't want to deal with me, as soon as she sees me she calls her other employee to talk to me, and to which this poor employee has to explain to me that the shirt isn't done and that the machine was having issues because of the high speed function and that I had to come back. I was nice to the employee and agreed to come back...so in the end, the shirt was done LATE. and the older lady was horrible and rude and made her employee do the dirty work of telling me that the shirt wasn't ready at the agreed upon time. I was nice to the employee and didn't make a fuss, at that point I just wanted the shirt for an event. I will NEVER EVER go here and WILL TELL everyone to AVOID this place. I hope her employees leave and quit and find another place to work, I worry about how that horrible lady treats them. read more

Brought in an oilers McDavid jersey to have her embroider a captains 'C'. Showed her photos of how it should look, and of course all it had to do was match the style of the letters and numbers already on the jersey. Got something back that looked nothing like the photos, the existing lettering, or any hockey jersey I've ever seen. I'd prepaid unfortunately and she normally refused to alter refund or even discount work, she was offended that I wasn't happy with the job and actually berated me. Brace yourselves for a story. I placed an order at the West Ed Mall store on September 8th. There was a Russian lady working there that i dealt with. I wanted 3 shirts copied off of two work shirts of mine. She informed me that they were waiting for the proper machine and it wouldnt be available for 2 weeks.i wasnt in a hurry i said ok no problem. 2 weeks later i came back and she said she told me 20 days not a week. As i wasnt in a hurry i didnt bother arguing about it. I came back 6 days later anc she told me the machine was thrre but they were not trained on it yet. So i asked her again when should i come back. She said they were being trained the upcoming wednesday. I suggested Saturday which would give them time after training. Saturday came and i was too busy to get there (got hit by a car as i was getting out of my vehicle) so i arrived Sunday with my kids. She was working and said the guy who does tshirts didnt work Sundays so j would have to come back another day and the fact she was called in as well because she doesnt work Sundays and she was upset. . Then she lectured me on i should have arrived Saturday. I told her all they were doing was copying shirts i gave them, she cut me off by over talking me... saying she wanted to make sure things were correct on the computer. I said you were copying you should be able to see it and compare, that if they were waiting for me why not call to see if they can just go ahead.... again she over talked me sayinb if i wanted a call i should have asked. I told her i really dont like being interupted and for her to let me talk then her turn. She said ok but the next sentence i said she over talked me. So i asked for my money and tshirts back. She said no. That she had 0 money to give me and i would have to come back the next day. I asked her for my t-shirts at least so i have them and she said no. i told her the shirts were my property and she cant keep them. Again she refused. I told her if she doesnt give my shirts back that is theft and i would have to call the police. She flipped her hair and said go call them. So i did. It took me a few days to get a refund but what a pain. I saw good quality stuff they put out and would have loved my shirts to be copied but wasn't worth waiting a month and getting all the attitude. read more

Absolutely terrible service! This lady is a total B. She was so rude to my mother. Messed up the font charged her then when my mom said it wasn't right she turned and walked away and totally ignored her. We came back today. I just had the absolute worst experience at Nevi's Embroidery. I spent $53 on embroidery that was not centered correctly on my $200 hoodie. There was even a seam in the centre of the sleeve to guide them, but the maple leaf they embroidered was very much off centre. The manager insisted that she did it correctly...And lied by saying my other teammate's jackets were done this way. But they embroidered the maple leaf on their jacket correctly. The manager raised her voice and kept repeating: "This is the best I can do! This is the best I can do! This is the best I can do!" Even though I was being polite and soft spoken. Very unprofessional. The store is so messy and disorganized that I should have known to stay away. read more

RATING ZERO! HORRIBLE WORK! Every piece was done wrong. I was told I was my fault the end product didn't turn out the same as the sample. They used the wrong garments than ordered. Just had the worst experience with Nevi's Embroidery in Westmount. Wanted to have the french cuff of a shirt monogrammed and even took them another shirt already done as an example. When I went to pick it up, the letters were not only done backwards (mirror image) but upside down. When I pointed this out, her immediate response "You didn't tell me". Everytime I would try to explain how with the sample shirt as a reference there is no way this should have happened: "You didn't tell me". NEVER use this horrible company!!! read more

Nevi, was very unprofessional and her lack of integrity was clearly displayed in her changing prices, refusal to provide me with rate sheets and then upping the prices after the order is in. Her work was shoddy. She refused to write me out a receipt and I had to write it out myself and get her to sign it. She overcharged me for the deposit for my order, and then refuse to give me the balance of $17 selling me a mask that looked horrible like it was hand-painted by a kindergarten. She was grumbling about me to her one employee behind my back where I could clearly hear her, and then berated another poor worker in front of me about another project they were working on. Very unprofessional woman and I would never recommend this place to anyone. As a brand new company, I needed to place a large order and picked out $1,600 worth of merchandise. I told her my partner would have to approve it later that day but I would leave a deposit for a small portion as I needed 10 shirts immediately. She charged me a deposit for the shirts, which was the actual full price of the shirts, then when I went to pick up the order she tried to say that the deposit was for the entire order of $1600!! Even though her employee heard me telling her only I'm only ordering the shirts until my partner comes in and approves the rest of the order. She told me to do any work I needed to pay for 50% which I did for the shirts. I was shocked when I picked up my order and she tried to bully me into putting my entire order through. I had made it clear that I wanted to see the work on her shirts before my partner and I approved putting a deposit on the rest of the order. I would never shop or recommend this place to anyone. The shirts she did sell me were a very poor quality for the price she charged and the small seven letters on the front of the shirt we're definitely overcharged. read more

I had a good experience getting a clothing item embroidered at Nevi's. I called around to several places around town, and they were the cheapest, with the quickest turnaround time (later that day) too. Location in Westmount shopping centre was pretty convenient, too. Reading the previous review, I was a bit apprehensive that they would screw it up, and the employee could sense that I was indecisive (on font and colour - there are tons to choose from) and picky, so she offered to make me a sample mock up within 15 mins - even though my order was small. I was happy with the sample, so proceeded to place my order. After discussing placement of the text, she let me know that it'd be done in a couple hours (and if I was in a huge rush and an uncomplicated order, it could have been done while I wait - rather than at least a few days for other stores I'd called). I picked it up, and things were exactly as agreed upon. I would come here again for any other embroidery needs. I did take off one star because I'm not positive that the same attention to detail (e.g. with letter spacing, font size or exact font placement) would have been paid to my order had I not been so picky, but the product turned out very nicely when I was able to specify exactly what I wanted. read more

"Shady & Careless" Absolutely awful. Nevi lied on 3 occasions, missed her own delivery time multiple times. Then was careless and incompetent, did not deliver as per her own agreement, nor written contract then she lied about it. She raised her voice and intimidated customers, you will feel like you are under duress. Embroidery she did was screwed up, wrong size (half size), not centred, and wrong colors. I should have read the other dozen bad reviews so i could have been warned. She's expanded her store, but customer service is abysmal and unprofessional. Felt like i threw $170 down the toilet. Only come to Nevi's if you want to get burned and feel cheated.. read more

Overall I had a positive experience with Nevi's Embroidery. I needed something personalized for a gift and Nevi's was the cheapest and had the fastest turn around time. She was quite helpful in making suggestions for colors/placement of design and sizing. I was hesitant based on previous reviews but I needed it within 3 days which a lot of places take 1 week to do. The end product looked excellent and I was quite pleased. She asked for very specific details about the design and location and even called me twice with questions about the design - I preferred this rather than her guessing. The only issue I encountered was that I had told her a specific day it had to be ready by and she assured me it could be done. When I called just prior to picking it up, she asked if I could wait until tomorrow...I emphasized that I needed today and was quite worried but she was able to complete the embroidery in an hour with the end result looking quite nice. read more

Do not take anything here! Owner is biligerant, rude and verbally harassing stating such things as she was praying something bad would happen to me, and I deserve it for wasting her time. Terrible customer service! Completely ruined my items refused to fix them and just threw them at me. Said my items would be done by a certain time they weren't they wanted another hour so we killed time and received a phone call 45 minutes later saying she wanted to know how I wanted it to be done went to speak with the owner and she said she needed at least another hour and a half to finish the item... Nevi is the most unprofessional person I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. After bringing her shop consistent business you would expect to be treated with dignity as a customer. Boy was I wrong. An embroidered hat was completely unacceptable, not even representing the original logo anymore. When expressing the fact I was not happy with the final product and reasonably suggesting for it to either be redone or refunded Nevi started accusing me of being ungrateful for her hard work and would not refund or redo the hat. It was shocking as a customer to be spoken to in such a manner, after I handled things professionally despite the fact I had already paid a deposit and would simply like the product that I paid for. After being personally offended by Nevi, I simply said I would not take the hats as it was nothing personal but I just felt they were not up to professional standards. And since she was not willing to work with me I was willing to lose the deposit and walk away empty handed. Then Nevi had the audacity to raise her voice towards me and tell me I was being rude amongst other things. This is an unacceptable way to speak to any human being never mind a paying customer. Please save yourself the headache and money and do not support Nevis embroidery. read more

I took a Christmas stocking to get a name embroidered on it, originally it was going to be finished on Friday, but called to see if they could have it done Wednesday. The owner at Bonnie Doon location said sure no problem, we will have it done by 1:30pm but would have to pick it up at Westmount, fine no problem. I get to Westmount a but early was willing to wait a bit if I had to, I asked the lady where which was the owner apparently, she said no it's not done and will be done Tuesday as they were behind. I explained her husband at the Bonnie Doon location said to come and get it at 1:30pm. She ignored me and saying they are behind and very busy and can not have it done till Tuesday, I explained and said I am leaving out of town this evening and I need it. She then out of no where started yelling at me asking me if I wanted her to kill her self and work 24/7 and work and work and work........totally uncalled for and blew me away. People in the mall were staring and I asked her why she was yelling at me, and then asked me if I was stupid. Her employee stopped her and told me she would do it her self and have it done in 15 mins and come back. I will never support this business again, nor will I tell people to go there. And it isn't not cheap, it cost more for the 5 letters then the stocking was worth. read more

My experience at this company was terrible. I ordered (and paid for upfront) 1 custom silk-screen T-Shirt. The job that was done was laughable. The end result looks nothing like the logo that I provided them with to follow. This T-Shirt was supposed to be a X-mas gift, and it is unwearable because it looks so bad. After telling the owner how disappointed I was with it, she expected me to feel sorry for her that it took her so much expensive ink to make the T-Shirt. Are you kidding me? Awful customer service.
