Staples 2012-38 Ave in Edmonton Nishita at the print services at this location gave amazing service and was very professional. I brought in some art and wanted to make some prints. Nishita gave helpful advice for the best possible outcome. She was knowledgeable, professional and answered all my questions of what would work best. I loved the prints and came back the next day to get more. Also the work turned out to be a great price. read more

13118 50 Street Info on internet said open until 9pm today Monday Mar 24/2025. I arrived shortly after 8PM and a young lady was unlocking the door to let a customer out. She politely told me they were closed but asked what I needed. When I told her I was there to pick up my print order, she allowed me in, went to the department, got my print order for me and cheerfully had to go back to let me out. I wish I had her name but did not see a name tag. I know it can be very frustrating to have someone rush in when you are ready to go home but she was very pleasant and professional. read more

I was very impressed with the customer service. They greeted me, asked if I needed help and immediately directed me to the right department. The checkout was efficient and friendly . They offered to carry my purchase to the car because it was a large item. I used to shop here because of the convenient location. I'll keep coming back because of the customer service. read more

Have you ever experienced Staples therapy? As a student, I used to just wander the isles of this particular store after a final example and literally get lost in a land of useless computer accessories. Just for old times sake I pop by here to go into wander mode and turn off my brain. I know I can buy things for cheaper online, but sometimes you want something immediately. This trip I need to purchase a financial calculator. Only three models are certified for use for my needs and this location has two of them. I bought the Texas Instrument BAII plus which was a pricey 46$. It isn't the cheapest price for the calculator, but I don't feel like waiting a week for shipping or lining up in those Walmart lines of death to save a few bucks. I prefer to be In and out like a robbery with time to scour the store for useless computer accessories. That's how I roll! Lots of generic office stuff, average service, slightly higher prices, get your product immediately. A-OK! read more

Between immigrating here and now being a business owner - all without owning a printer - I come to Staples for copy/print fairly often. I typically have good experiences and find the staff helpful. This is the reason I left a star. If I could give the girl I dealt with today zero stars, I would. I couldn't see her name tag - either it was covered by her sweater/hair or she wasn't wearing one. She is brown, has dark hair with dyed blonde in it, and acrylic nails. I am a chill person, but this chick got under my skin. She is smug, rude, antagonistic, and generally seems annoyed that she has to help people. She made sure (several times) I knew that I didn't know what I was doing, and neither did her co-workers. I tried turning it around with small talk, which she ignored. She seems miserable. Instead of working toward finding solutions for her customers, she makes the problem seem much more complicated and makes you feel like a burden. There are a lot of gems on staff here, but I'd avoid this chick like the plague. read more

Stay clear if Staples, especially their tech dept. Advertised a diagnostic special for $29.00, called to say I needed this and that (again a computer tech that thinks so highly of himself he only talks computer jargon, but hasn't had a haircut or a shower in weeks it appears/smells) and Staples wants another $50.00 or so to fix the problems. Had FAR BETTER SERVICE from Best Buy and their mobile service. Will N E V E R spend another nickel in ANY Staples location. Even manager refused to offer anything in terms of customer service ~~ ***Karen in print dept: You're an exceptional CSR, any company would be happy to hire you and probably pay better than Staples could*** Good riddance Staples Canada, another Cdn company that sucks! read more

There appear to be two levels of service at this store. If you are in the aisles looking for product or at the register, you generally get someone who comes to help and or sees service is lacking and calls in support(ie another cashier). This is my general experience. However I found myself with a printer not working at home but needed documents printed for the next day. So I decided to try a part of staples I've never used ever before, their print services. It's like it's a completely different store. Not ever using this service before I lined up looking for assistance in printing my documents from my usb drive. I waited in line while it seems the one person assigned to print services was working with someone. With people starting to line up behind me and others wandering around lost, the one person there never looked up to see the buildup of customers or say they we be with us soon. Even the person who seemed to be buzzing around the regular checkouts to ensure registers don't back up came over with another customer, left though there obvious backup. It wasn't until I asked her if she was the only staff member there that she got on the loudspeaker for help. The new person came and helped me figure what I needed to do. Of course one of my documents wouldn't open and it said to get help. I turned around and everything was still backed up so I had to search the regular part of the store and get someone who was able to help by opening it up on one of their computers. So really there are two scores to done here. The regular store gets 4 out of 5 for service while the print services section gets no stars. Like I say, it feels like two business under one roof with very different service levels. I don't know if they operated separately but it's enough that I never consider or recommend staples print services. The only help you get there is from someone working in the regular part of the store. If they are going to be under the same roof & use the same business name, they should ensure the same service happens at the print services as they do the other parts of the store. read more

I came in tonight to do some copying , and I must say, the service was very good and my needs in copying were met. I used their on-line service as well. I would have given them a 5* but when I called to get some info prior to coming in I was put on hold for about 5 minutes, that's ok though, because when I came in they were truly busy. read more

I'm sad to say I worked for this company before. Not a single staff member approached me until I was about to go. The staff person then attempted to help. Unfortunately he wasn't aware of current products or store policy. I decided to shop elsewhere read more

This is the location I go to for all of my copying, faxing, scanning etc. The price is decent and for the amount I need to do, it isn't worth buying an all in one for the home. I'm fairly used to the process by now but every once in a while I need to ask how to do something, and I get nothing but attitude. One of the employees rolled her eyes when I asked if I could borrow a pen. She told me there were some on the centre desk and huffed over to show me, only to find that there were none there. The only reason I'm giving three stars is because the cashiers are consistently friendly and helpful, and the copy centre is very convenient. read more

I returned to this location at my own peril and once again I had terrible service. I asked a guy named Joshua to help me find some label tape for my label maker. He didn't even attempt to look for it before falsely claiming that they do not carry it. I told him they must seeing as I bought the label maker and extra tape there before. He wandered around aimlessly and instead of asking a possibly more knowledgable associate (though not likely at this location) he came back and said they didn't have any in stock. I was fed up with watching him fumble around and wasting my time so I walked over to computers and asked someone there. What a surprise they carried the label tape! I didn't really want to spend my money there at this point but I needed the labels. Joshua saw me walking around with the label tape later and didn't even come apologize for his mistake, he awkwardly avoided me. When I got to the check out a lady redirected me to another till for "faster service". Wasn't really faster when another associate let someone skip ahead of me even though we were told we could be served first. Location needs to get its act together, especially during back to school. They will miss out on a lot of sales during their busy time if they don't smarten up and help customers find what they need. read more
