Skyview 137th Staples - Used the print shop and they "quality checked" the order and didn't get the correct amount of booklets. I ordered online and drove 30 min to pick up. The Print shop line store was empty and serving customers seemed to put them out. Don't use this location. read more

Such bad customer service at the staples in Clareview. Unhelpful and slow staff. The wait to even drop off a package at the mail counter is insane. Although they have a large selection it is quite costly compared to Walmart/amazon or even the dollar store. The printing area is always beyond busy and scattered with no clear indication what line is for what. You can tell the employees do not like working there. read more

I placed an order online with Staples, they offer free delivery, so I choose them. I live 30 klm from Leduc, so delivery is very convenient. I placed my order and they reminded me throughout that I was close to getting free delivery "spend $7 more and get free delivery" etc. however when I got to the final review page they had charged me for delivery. , they had also charged my charge card with out my approval. I have just spent an hour on both the chat line and a phone call . They charged me even though the order wasnt complete. I cancelled but they cant guarantee that it was cancelled and if it's delivered I can make arrangements to return the order. WTH? That was the last time I deal with Staples. Also they should have people on the phone that I can understand, the agent had such a strong accent, I was embarrassed to keep asking her to repeat what she was saying. Call me nuts but I like wondering around Staples. I get a rush out of the gadgets and things that help me be organized. Sometimes this works, other times it doesn't. I was recently there to pick up a phone set for my Mom. It had 3 hand sets which is exactly what they need considering their house is large, they live on a farm and can use the other set in the shop. And the price they got if for was great, just over $100. Other places where selling the same one for considerable more money. So, not only does Staples sell office supplies and stationary but they also have a print shop which I use often. I can get 200 colour copies cropped and cut for $100. This is a decent deal and part of why I like it is I can get the printing done in an hour. Yay! As you probably know they also sell computers, printers, digital cameras and other electronics. Their prices are competitive but keep your eyes peeled for their flier or online if you're looking for something specific as you can probably find a good deal. read more

This rating only applies to THIS particular Staples. I was doing wedding invites and wanted them printed in colour on 100lb cardstock. I went to my local Staples in St. Albert and the girl at the copy center simply said, she doesn't normally work in the copy center, so she doesn't know if they can print on 100 lb cardstock and asked me to come back a different day!! So the next day I phoned and asked them if they could print on 100 lb cardstock and was told they were unsure, and it could jam their machines, so they couldn't guarantee I'd get all my paper back. Frustrated, I went to the Staples on 137 ave. Not only did they print my invites on the 100 lb cardstock, without hesitation, it was done in a very short amount of time (well under what they quoted me for time). When I went to pick them up from the copy center, the girl had cut and seperated them all for me too!! (I had three invites per page) That was so nice of her! She handed them to me and with a big smile, said, "Good luck with your wedding." I was VERY impressed! She went the extra mile and saved me sooooo much time by cutting and seperating the pages for me! Great customer service! read more

I'm really not a fan of their computer printing system that charges by the micro second. It's a pretty slow PC, charges ridiculous rates, is often attached to a printer that doesn't work well, and the attendants are slow to help you cuz they know you're being charged by the millisecond. This is my main reason I go to Staples so my rating is a reflection of my experiences there. Also printer ink is among the most expensive liquid in the world based on weight. I waited 20 minutes in the "online pick-up" line before an employer noticed I wasn't getting any service even though the customer before me was not seeking an online pick-up. I bought a chair from Staples last night and part of it was defective. I went in and asked to have the piece swapped out. The lady was a little rude at first. She said she might not have any and sounded annoyed when she asked if I had called first. I said no, but you had a few yesterday. She said that doesn't mean anything. I found her response to be a little snarky. However, after she searched around and couldn't find any stock she said they could deliver a new one tomorrow's and they would pick up the defective one. Worst customer service. Bought a few supplies and the price that was displayed doesn't match the receipt. I was charged a higher price and when I brought it to their attention I was told that they're changing their prices. A staff was screaming at me that it was only a few cents. So I called this store two days ago as I was looking for a mophie power station portable battery.... I spoke with an associate. I asked her if they carried this specific product as I was looking for one she said she had never heard of Mophie.. I said pardon me as it is quite a popular brand and if she could please check and she told me it's probably just a cheap dollar store model and I should just go to the dollar store she never offered to go and look or see if they carry any.. I was absolutely flabbergasted!!! I mean she did nothing to look to see or tell me if they carry the product but just to tell me that it is not a name brand so I called my daughter and she happened to be on the southside by Best Buy and walked into the store and found it right away this is horrible customer service I would think that one would be trying to invite a customer in to try and help them find what they are looking for and not to send me away to a dollar store I am absolutely appalled by this poor service I don't think I'll ever go back into that store again and definitely won't call there for customer service that is nonexistent!!!!!!! read more

Went in to buy an external hard drive. When I finally got help and found what I needed the guy said there might be one on the discount rack. There was. After waiting 30-45 min for them to find the product I wanted the guy comes out and tells me that he can't find it and gives me the one I was originally gonna get. I was mad so I asked for the manager. This East Indian manager comes over and ask him if he can give me a little discount to make up for my lost time. He said there was nothing he could do about it. this place sucks a$$.... took my computer in, they still it's 8 years old do you want a new one instead. had all my business and personal stuff on the computer. so they transfer all my files and information. about 2 weeks later i took it home, used it 3 times and stopped working. so took it back in. they took a look. said we need to send it in. 3 months later still no computer, they said its hp fault. 1 called 3 time a week. witch they had no clue what was going on. they are jammed tarts never called me back. i was pissed. i went in to bitch and first thing they said was clam down don't raise your voice. i called head office and they are the same. they lost all my information on this computer, like i mean everything. business,stocks,personal, pix.. after 9 month they said, we will give you a new one, but we need your information. witch i didnt back up because it was only 3 day old. the computer went up by 75.00 and they had the balls to charge me. but they didn't because i bitched. absolutely worst store ever and customer service. this happened last year and i'm still pissed. this computer i f-------- hate. but never ever go back. plus i spent 500 to 800 a month at this location. never ever again. even head office did shit for me they never called me back. manager got the staff to talk to me, until i said get the manager now enough talking to you guys. i would give zero stars. but you need 2 give one. please go buy your computer from a different location. read more
