This store relocated recently to St. Albert Trail from 137 Ave. Although I only shopped at the old…read morelocation once or twice, I can't really compare the differences. I really like the new location as there is lots of parking, the store is spacious and bright inside and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The wall on the right side of the entrance changes with difference themes periodically. The store is laid out so there is lots of room to look around without getting in other people's way. The paper is displayed by theme along with stickers and embellishments. They carry some unique papers like printed acetate. Ink, markers, ribbon, stamps and die cuts are located near the back of the store. What I was so excited about was to see stamped images on watercolour paper. There was a selection of different images and greetings for cards, each sheet was $1.79. The images can be coloured with Copic markers, watercolour pencils or aqua painters. You cannot walk in and not buy anything. If you spend over ten dollars and you get one scrap buck which does not expire. They offer Saturday crops as well as the occasional weekend crop. The place is very bright and clean with an okay selection - it's definitely not the biggest that I've seen but I think you would get by for a project that you were working on. I love the idea of scrapbooking/creating and enjoying coffee at the same time - I didn't have a coffee though as I was on a mission for my letters! The customer service was lacking though as I asked for help finding anything with letters - stickers, stencils, anything. The lone employee told me that she was pretty sure they didn't have anything. I looked through the store and I found two separate packs of letter stickers and she was surprised when I brought them to the till. I get that you may not always know what's in stock, but I would have expected an employee to come out from behind the till (when she wasn't serving anyone at the time) to double check a few places where she may have seen the product I was seeking in the past. This store is out of the way for me on the north end of the City but it is conveniently located just off St. Albert Trail.

Ms. LaMarche is the perfect representative for their artists. The picture was shipped to the West Coast of the US, and she made the process easy and seamless. That painting now hangs over our fireplace, and it is perfect. Carole worked closely with us and the artist as an intermediary as we worked through the process of commissioning two paintings. She coordinated phone meetings and made sure our concerns were pointed out to the artist and hers to us. She worked closely with us in selecting frames and matting. Thank you, Carol, and thank you, Maurade. Regards, Tom & Nancy Conner

This Sherwood Park gallery features some beautiful and inspired art objects, paintings and…read morereproductions. From the outside, you can see some large-canvas paintings that are colourful and eye-catching, nicely displayed and inviting. There are two large presentation rooms, the smaller of which features bear statues by Vance Theoret, who sculpts with soapstone, slate, chlorite and Kissi stone, and works with lots of subjects, but his bears are his favourite ... and it shows. They're playful and embody an innocence and curiosity that are almost human-like. There are lots of other original works by a variety of artists. As I'm not much of an art connoisseur, I didn't recognize most, but know the names Robert Bateman and Trisha Romance, whose giclees (high quality reproductions) and limited edition prints are available here. I think sometimes they come buy originals. It's a lovely show space, and there's something for every aesthetic, from landscape and abstract to fantasy and realism. The shop's been around for almost 30 years and has a solid reputation in the art business.
