We wanted to keep our original concrete slab and then added decorative concrete around it. We also have a pergola, so he was going to put PVC pipe around the posts so when the time came that it had to replace the posts it would be easy. We also had them add some concrete to our 3rd stall driveway to widen it. Although we still feel the price was right and the work was pretty good, our whole experience has been soured by broken promises and extremely poor communication. It started when Bowie came over in May 2018. He was pleasant to talk to and really knew his stuff. I was emailed the quote over a month later. We put half down, and then we waited. And waited. And waited some more. They told us up front that they were juggling multiple jobs. We were a small job for them so we understood and waited our turn. Then the work was delayed due to the weather, which was also understandable. As summer turned into fall, we followed up several times to find out when the work would start. Very rarely would we get anybody on the phone, and their voicemail was always full so we couldn't leave a message. We were able to get ahold of Bowie via text, which seemed to work best. The work finally started the last week of October 2018 and completed about a week later. Shortly after the work was completed, it snowed and we were not able to enjoy our new patio until the following spring. Once the snow melted in 2019, we noticed there were splotches (white stains) on the concrete. On top of that the PVC pipe was not installed, so the pergola posts were completely cemented in. We reached out as soon as we saw this. We called many times and sent several texts. We finally received a response in August of 2019, saying there was defect in the cement coating and he would stop by to look at. His last words were "I will not forget u guys I swear". That was the last we heard from them. We again called several times and texted. In January 2020, we received a $100 check from them with no further explanation or contact. It's clear that they are suffering from too many jobs, not enough workers, Wisconsin weather, etc.. Some of these are forgivable, but poor customer service is not. We would give their work a solid B, and their customer service an low F. Having to constantly call and text with little to no response back was extremely frustrating. It's unfortunate that we have to leave this review. Had we have known what a long and frustrating process this was we would have went with another company.

He took notes, sketched a bit, and said he would get back to us with an estimate in a week to ten days. Last we heard from him, and that was nearly a month ago. Haven't heard of any recent alien abductions, so I can only assume our job wasn't big enough to interest him. Funny thing is, I asked him to just tell me if he wasn't interested in doing it in order to save us both a waste of time. Not even the courtesy of a call or email, much less an over inflated estimate to discourage us. Guess "No Show Bo" is no better than the others. Ryan gave me a quote and made sure I was satisfied with everything before he even started the job. I had them lay bullet edgers around my house, plant several flowers for us, and fill in with red granite. I also had them extend our patio with red granite. Ryan and his team started at 8am and finished at 5pm. When they finished they cleaned and swept up everything and even planted some grass seed around the edging. They were awesome and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a landscaping job big or small.

We had many communication and he did the work timely. The patio looks good even though he didn't match the patio bricks with the existing patio. The problem is that we were installing a hot tub with a gazebo and the area is not the size we needed to fit the gazebo design we were going to install. We thought we were getting a 12 x 12 ft area which is what we needed for our hot tub and gazebo. On the day of excavating we went over what we wanted but because we didn't have a drawing and they didn't even take the time to get a piece of paper to do a simple layout so everyone would understand the way we wanted it was not done the way we wanted and could of been avoided with a drawing. The patio wasn't 12 ft wide which we needed. The footings were not in the correct place because the patio was not the correct size. Not only that they didn't leave the footings exposed so now we have to remove the blocks a dig for the footings. We contacted them to explain our concerns and they offered no resolution, not even to expose the footings, but blamed it on miscommunications. I feel that they are the professionals and should of made sure everyone understood what the plan was by doing a drawing. I wouldn't hire them again or recommend them. I wish we would of waited for Proscape who did our first patio, they are way more professional and do great work.
