The best prime rib I've ever had should get 10 stars. My sister had the Patty Melt. She's so hard to please and she loved it. They have a full bar and ice cold beer. We were also full and we couldn't even finish our prime rib. It was really enough to split. It's pretty big but so good. Bring it home the next day it's just as good. We had the brownies and the cookies and let me tell you their homemade butter pecan ice cream made me a believer. That has been my least favorite of ice cream until now. Gabby offered great service. It's a team effort there you can tell. This place is pretty big. I would imagine in the evening. It turns into a hopping vibrant nightclub. I'm going again to check out for lunch. We were looking for good food in a casual spot. The Nevermind was great! A casual bar that seats a lot of people & fun atmosphere. I had the patty melt with a side of mac and cheese. The patty melt was amazing! It was a grilled cheese with a patty sandwiched in the middle. It was the cheesiest burger I've ever had. So, so good. The bun was toasted perfectly. Nevermind used to be one of our favorite restaurants in South Cape but lately it's been one disappointing experience after another. The eternal optimist in me decided to try one more time. Sadly, it was the nail in the coffin for us and we will not be returning to this establishment. We ordere a medium rare ribeye that came out well done, a wedge salad which came out at the same time as the main course, and a glass of wine. Our check (including tip) came to $116. The steak was poorly seasoned and tasted gamey. I took one bite and immediately spit it out. The sides were mushy and tasted like they were reheated in a microwave. Never a bad meal to Nevermind! Have the burger, have the volcano roll, have the grilled cheese... have it all - yet to find a bad item on the menu. Throughout the years the menu has evolved a little bit, the location has changed a little bit, but the feel and the food quality and tastiness has remained the same! We've done date night, business lunch, social lunch/dinner and family meals - well suited for all of these. When the weather is great the back patio is wonderful to lunch/dine. For a high dollar restaurant with good reviews, I was appalled. We both ordered steaks, (Only two kinds, Rib, or Filet). We both ordered them cooked medium. Mine, the filet came raw in the middle. Of course, I politely asked to send it back. The second steak came raw in the middle, as well. I sent that back. The final steak was slightly more cooked on the ends, AND almost raw in the middle. Thru all of this my husband ate his without a peep. Lol, I finally asked him how was YOUR steak? He just looked at me and said undercooked. This meal was life changing. This was the second time I had grilled lettuce in my salad and if you never had one, you need to. This chicken bacon ranch salad was just perfect. I asked for grilled chicken and no tomatoes and it came out beyond my expectations. The lettuce was grilled but it wasn't soggy or burnt. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the flavor went great with the bacon and ranch. The lemon drop martini I ordered wasn't as strong as I hoped but it was delicious. The service was pretty good. Our waitress was fast and polite. The restaurant is very tiny on the inside but they have a lot of outdoor seating. It was also a bit hot in the restaurant. We weren't sure what this bar would be like, but it turns out it's an awesome bar....even the name says it! The food here is amazing and so flavorful. We had a couple of different flavors of wings and I have to say I'm really not sure which one I liked better. The garlic or the Buffalo style. Can't go wrong with either one! The steaks and burgers were extremely tasty and the burgers had a flavor of bbq which wasn't overbearing or under flavorful. Just delicious. We also had fried sushi eggroll which was totally unexpected and so good bursting with flavor. Unfortunately I ate too quick to get pictures but the food but you will not be disappointed, I can promise you that. As they say...it's all about location, location, location and with this dive bar called Nevermind Awesome Bar, it's in the perfect spot for bar hopping or just settling in to watch a game on its many tvs. The bartenders we encountered we really good at making drinks perfect. Not weak but not dinner bearing you can't drink it. It was on point! The bar is really huge but it sections off areas so it more of a smaller feeling venue that is able to host private events as well as being a pretty cozy place with smaller areas of the restaurant/bar. Know about Nevermind Awesome Bar & Eatery as a local hangout with unique ambiance. It has been on my radar screen for some time. Finally, we got a chance to try this place out! Don't let the location or physical appearance fool you. Nevermind located in a small strip on Cape Coral Parkway so it is easy to find. May be a short drive from Fort Myers over the Cape Coral Bridge. There are many road constructions in the area so parking is premium now. Be prepared to walk a few short blocks if you find a space for your vehicle! There is a front seating area with tables on green artificial turf. The Hop bar and Nevermind Awesome Bar & Eatery. It is small with high top tables lining along the wall. Black is the favorite color here. The ceiling is pitch black with electric light fixatures connected with lead pipes and some funky bare bulbs. Very hipster feel, and casual cater to younger clients. In the back or the garden side, they have high top tables and a DJ actively playing songs for a party tonight. No loud music in the bar or the front area because we were here for early dinner! The menu is limited and that is a good sign! It is better to be good on selected items rather than a mass of bad culinary disasters! We have two local light ales before our dinner instead of the Moscow Mule or white Sangria. For appetizer, we have the volcano spring roll. It is packed with some crab meat with sauce in a crunchy spring roll wrapper. Delicious! Our Bitchin bacon cheese burger is cooked to perfection with tender juicy beef, crisp, thick bacon that are flavorful. The lamb burger is juicy accompanied by truffle fries. You do not need any condiment for their burgers. The food comes in moderate portions, so if you are looking for a huge meal, this is not place for you! The bitchin bacon cheese burger is priced at $18. It is pricey but they are in a class of their own! The staff is friendly, attentive and professional. I will say do not judge this place by it's "dive bar" look/feel because it truly is TOP NOTCH with an incredible menu! My husband ordered a burger and I got the Cuban and both of our meals were very delicious! We also decided to get the cookie, donut, ice cream dessert and OH MY GOSH was it so good!
