The boom sauce is very similar to a Thai sweet chili sauce - a little sweet with maybe a touch of heat. An app that eats like a meal. Great for a lighter appetite. On yet another visit, and on several more visits, I had the All Day - Every Day Fish and Chips Summer Special ($12.99). Terrific! A generous filet of pollack, lightly coated with beer batter, fried to perfection, served with their incredible fries and pineapple cole slaw. So then I went on their website while sitting at the table and saw the $14.99 lobster roll special. Glad it was that price and not the full price. I got the cold Lobster roll and it was just okay, it was lacking flavor. Triple tail tacos were decent but also felt like it could use a little more seasoning. Went early to avoid the wait I had read about and was seated with a smile quickly. Smaller but warm, clean, and vibrant restaurant. Big menu with honestly good prices for the portion sizes. Constant stream of locals and tourists came in so I had faith it would be great. Ordered a mix of seafood and non with a delicious burger for the kid which was big and flavorful. My boom shrimp tacos were delicious but a heavy hand on the sauce really made it hard to taste the slaw or salsa. Although the fruit based pico was delicious when I added in. On a recommendation we decided to take the family here for a nice fish dinner. We were told that we'd probably have to wait, they provide you with pagers. You can, if you want, grab a beverage while you wait. The interior is small and they have an exterior seating area that also isn't too large but both the inside and outside seating are very nice. The menu has good selections and a variety of ways that the fish can be prepared. The food is very good - everything we had everyone really enjoyed. The wait staff is fantastic, friendly, funny and makes great recommendations. We'd all recommend Twisted Lobster even with the wait. read more

Stopped for a quick dinner while in the cape. I've heard great things about this place for years. The clam chowder, their signature soup, was good. With more spice than expected. A friend and I decided to patronize a local establishment for lunch on Monday. We arrived around 1:00 pm and a line of customers were enthusiastically awaiting their turn to enter the restaurant. We were greeted by the Hostess who informed us that we would have a twenty minute wait to be seated. I'm thinking , oh boy , this place must have delicious food due to the crowd of customers waiting to enter. Well , at last , we were allowed entry and we were seated near the front door. My friend is handicapped and has mobility issues. Nevertheless, we sat down at a small booth and were presented with menus. My friend ordered oysters and Clam chowder soup. I ordered the Shrimp basket and I also ordered a bowl of Clam Chowder soup. The soup arrived first and I thought it was amazing ! It was savory and rich with flavor. My Shrimp quickly arrived and I took a bite of one of the Shrimp. Awwwe , I was disappointed. The Shrimp was breaded but seemed somewhat undercooked. Nevertheless, I filled up on the bowl of soup and managed to consume 3 of the breaded Shrimp. I was full and gave my companion the remaining Shrimp in my basket. My friend devoured the Shrimp. Our waitress Christina was busy , yet quick and efficient in rendering service to our table. The restaurant is small but cute and somewhat charming. I'll come back for the Clam Chowder, it was amazing. I'll have to try a different entre other than the breaded Shrimp basket. We sat outside and were sat immediately so I did not get a good look at the inside of the restaurant but it was very busy. The outdoor seating area was clean and there were fans to keep diners cool. The staff was very friendly and quick. The food came out within 10 minutes of ordering and was super tasty. The lobster was fresh and hot. The fried white fish and chicken tenders were also fresh and delicious. Must try their chocolate cake. Huge portion!
