They came back to assess the situation and concluded that it was a coincidence and they would be taking zero responsibility. I've now had 2 electricians assess the situation, including BGE. They both advised me that Mez Electic stripped the feeds out of my breaker. Furthermore, given the original nature of their initial visit, they advised me that Mez should have never been in my power breaker, period. They also advised that the only reason they would strip the feeds in my power breaker is because they accidentally hit my wire fixing the unit below and removed the feeds in my power breaker to avoid further damages. I have photos and I am filing a lawsuit against Mez. I've given them multiple opportunities to do the right thing but they refuse. Obviously do not use this company.

I rarely write yelp reviews but these guys deserve it…read more With any service company (plumbers, contractors, etc.) you expect to be charged at a high rate, regardless if any work is done during the estimate (because you're paying for their expertise). These guys were not like that. They could've charged an exorbitant service fee for coming to my boyfriends home on a weekend for a partial power outage (within 4 hours of us calling), but when they came and realized it was an issue with the utility company, they didn't charge him anything. The quick turnaround, honesty in their work, and willingness to help others in a pinch really sets them apart. We called nearly 20 electricians that day with most asking for somewhere around $160 for 30 min plus travel time at a minimum or for us asking for an appointment next week. They took our call right away and although they seemed lax on the phone, it's clear they knew what they were doing and understood the issue we were trying to communicate. It's not even my house, but if I need anything I'm calling them first and my boyfriend will do the same. Added bonus: this is a veteran-owned business.

Our recent project had issues outside of the electrical trade and Ed has shown how outgoing off a problem solver he is by being integral to our solutions. The quality of his work and his thorough knowledge of his trade along with local codes is amazing. An example of this is positioning of switch boxes, outlets and lighting for flow of the house, of course within specified code needs. He explains in detail his work and is a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend Pripstein Electric.

He was prepared and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the job. One thing I really appreciated is that he was very thorough, meticulous and took time with the job rather than just rush through. After the caulking job, I've had David back in to help with upgrading my thermostat, fix some broken power outlets and switches. A week later I had David back to fix some toilet clogs, and a broken/rusted sink stopper. He even helped with a bunch of hauling that I needed help with. In summary, David is reliable, won't over promise, is thorough, is punctual, very versatile (covered electrical, plumbing and moving/hauling) and very reasonably priced. Very highly recommend!!!
