Showed up for appt only to be told we don't have radiologist at this location. Scheduled for next available 3 weeks later. They asked me to sign a release of records form so they would have last mammogram reports/films at next appointment. I signed it. Showed up 5.28 at 8th ave location only to be told my doctor didn't send reports/films. Couldn't do the test because they didn't know what they were looking for. Called over to the original location to request a confirmation of request sent to my doctor and was told "I see the signed paperwork but it looks like it wasn't sent" I requested to have a member of management contact me and over 24 hours no one has contacted me! I will make sure everyone knows!!! A 1 star is being too generous!

When I've needed outpatient imaging I now request only the Southwest Diagnostic Imaging Center…read more(SWDIC) in Dallas. I've been their patient for decades, the first reason I recommend them. I've seen many freestanding radiology practices disappear, along with my reports and images, many of which would be valuable for comparison if only they were available. My first tip: Stick with a company with proven longevity, such as SWDIC. My second tip: Get all of your outpatient imaging done at the same place so that you will know how to quickly find what a provider may want to see some day. SWDIC does every procedure I can think of. My next tip: if you have special needs, go to an imaging center where the staff and their accomodations can meet your needs easily. Two examples: at SWDIC, I always had the best of care from Cindy, the same mammography tech year after year, despite my limitations from MS. And I know of no other place you can have an MRI if you can't just get up and walk away from your power wheelchair (Don't I wish!) and walk the long distance to the MRI table. Uh, there's a good reason that I must use a power wheelchair, and only SWDIC has an MRI with a detachable exam table that can be brought to the patient who can't trek to an attached exam table! I thank God for the foresight of SWDIC clinical and executive staff for providing this invaluable tool! Never have I ever met a SWIC staff member, from schedulers to the front desk, to the professional staff who was not both professional and kind, and personal if the interaction was long enough. You may well leave with your images and reports in hand; just ask, if that will be helpful. And don't get away without a parking voucher, although I've always been given one before I could ask.

Here's the story, I went in to prime diagnostics. The form my doctor filled out does not have an…read morearea to select elbow, it's Prime's form. So they wrote forearm and bicep. I spoke with the technician prior to the MRI and made sure she was aware that I needed to have it for my lower forearm all the way up to my upper bicep. Because that's where the injury was. She said she would do her best. When I went in to have my MRI read by the orthopedic surgeon, he said the MRI wasn't good and even the report given by Prime states that it does not capture the rupture area "unfortunately, the scan does not cover the distal most insertion". Which is where the rupture occurred. I've been calling and leaving messages at both doctors offices and prime for 2 days trying to get them to re-do the MRi they messed up at no cost to me. i paid cash. Both doctors offices said that they had reached out to prime and not heard back. I spoke with the Prime scheduling department supervisor and the billing supervisor. They kept referring me back to the other departments. I have a short window to complete this surgery but Prime is not providing a good service. I may have to go elsewhere and pay out of pocket again. So frustraing!

If you make your appointment on the LabCorp app, you get a reminder text and a code to scan to check-in!!! On the app you can make an appointment, check your results, print, update insurance information...etc. and being able to see when and where you have a lab appointment available is a God-send! They patients weren't grumpy, so that helped a lot. The restroom was clean and tidy. Handicap parking is right in front and the lab is on the 2nd floor, right by the elevators. It's across from the BaylorScott&White medical center which is convenient if I had really bad lab results! Yikes! I hope that doesn't happen, but it is a great Safety net and the doctors get your results quickly. Just make sure to have the doctor's FAX #
