Was referred by my pain management physician for neck surgery. No phone calls answered so I went to…read morethe office because the website says that the office is open. No one was there and the office had a lock box on the door. Went to the office next door and was told that they were not there. I did some research and found out that Dr Christopher Aho was in trouble for substance abuse and was being sued for malpractice. His license was suspended and his practice was closed. No thank you! I will go to Cedars-Sinai for the best Neurosurgeon! This page needs to be taken down because it is false advertising! Never go to any physician unless you research them first. My pain management physician had no idea what was going on! I could have been mangled or worse.

From the beginning, Dr Aho was pretty amazing, he was very patient with me he explained everything to help me understand. He answered the ton of questions I had and He took his time, he didn't make me feel rushed, like some drs can. His office manager Sylvia was also very helpful and helped tremendously with all our paper work needs and appointments. If I had to say one negative thing, it would be the office can be a lil hard to get a hold of at times. They have both made our brain journey very smooth. And my husband is doing amazing!

When I first started seeing her she would only bring in 1/4 of the medication that needed to be administered. When I said something I could tell she was annoyed. I had to repeatedly advocate for myself just to get the medication that I had been getting previously. My Botox is paid for and then sent from the pharmacy directly to their office. It is all to be administered for me. Nothing should be left over or saved for any other patient as it is my prescription. It was really weird the way she would come in and either not bring in all the medication or she would hide it under a paper. I also noticed they did not change the paper on the counter in between patients that the medication was placed on. You could see that it was visibly wet and soiled. This is very unhygienic and could spread disease and bacteria since they are doing medical procedures. On one occasion I noticed she was injecting much higher than I had had in the past and I asked about it. She got visibly upset and jammed her finger into my forehead and said this is where it's supposed to go. I told her that hurt and it was not ok to do that to me. She brushed it off. I just really wanted to get out of there. The next appointment I brought someone with me and they said that at one point she went to inject me but there was nothing left in the syringe, so she was just pretending to administer the Botox. My most recent appointment I brought somebody again and the staff said it's her new policy to not allow anyone in with patients. I said I was more comfortable with someone there. They led us to the room and shortly after Diana came in already visibly angry saying that the person I brought needs to get out. I said I want a chaperone in with me and would be ok if it was a staff member. She became even more angry and said this is a procedure and I can't have anyone in there with me. At that point she refused to administer my medication. There are many other reviews about her that talk about her rudeness and so on. They are on point. I hope Dr Florin is able to get someone else in his office. This woman is ruining his practice. It's very unfortunate. Diana London also works at Desert Neurology & Sleep. You can see more reviews about her terrible treatment of patient there also.

Over the past several years, I had suffered from neck and back pain. I had been taking Vicodin and…read morewanted to get off the pain medication. I had tried over-the-counter pain medication, but it did not help. My condition had gotten so bad where I started to fall and lose my balance. I had a couple falls and had one incident where I had to go to ER, because I had fallen on both knees and couldn't walk, because of the bruises in my knees and didn't understand what was going on with me. I walked as if I was a drunk person and my balance was so off that when I walked it was like walking up and down a hill. My neurologist suggested that I get an MRI of my cervical spine done. After receiving the results, he explained to me that I didn't have much support (narrowing and herniated discs) in my cervical spine at C4-5 and C5-6 and referred me to see Dr. Haig Minassian, Neurosurgeon of Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital, who specializes in this area. Dr. Minassian reviewed the MRI with me and explained to me in detail where my problem was coming from; he also did a few range-of- motion tests to check my balance. In the past, I had several Carpal Tunnel and Trigger Finger surgeries for the numbness and tingling sensations in my arms, palms, and fingers. The pain and numbness started to travel down to my legs. Dr. Minassian recommended that I have surgery to replace the discs at C4-5 and C5-6 with spacers and hold them up with a plate and screws. He assured me that I would be fine and was confident that surgery would be a success. I was a bit hesitant to have surgery, because I was unsure of the outcome; however, because of the amount of pain that I have been suffering from all these years, I decided to move forward. Immediately after surgery was done, I did not have any back pain (other than stiffness and pain at the surgical site) whatsoever. The numbness and tingling sensation were "completely" gone. He is a "miracle" doctor. I started feeling better four days post-op and I now feel at least "10" years younger. I am so grateful to Dr. Minassian for changing my life. I would highly recommend Dr. Haig Minassian to anyone who has suffered from any kind of neck, spine, or back pain. He is truly an "Amazing" physician. Thank you for my new life, Dr. Manassian!!!
