attended 9/4 bourbon and cigar event. was pathetic, gave you a wrist band sent to a bar where bartenders barely looked at you and told you nothing about the bourbon you got. was over charged for two bottled waters $6.49 when we have cash and she never cleared the credit card pad and ripped us off $5, was ignored multiple times at the bar. don't waste your money or time go somewhere where they actually tell you about the bourbon and do a real tasting! read more

absolutely love Neumann's Cigars & More and would give it 5 stars without hesitation. This place is a treasure trove for cigar enthusiasts, with a wide range of options and an incredibly knowledgeable staff. As someone relatively new to cigars, I appreciated the guidance and education provided by the staff. They took the time to help me understand different cigar types, leading me to discover that I enjoy the Connecticut style--a revelation I wouldn't have made without their expertise. I've visited Neumann's twice already, and each time has been a delight. The service is top-notch, and they truly go above and beyond to ensure customers are happy. I haven't had the chance to enjoy their comfortable lounge upstairs yet, but I'm looking forward to it. In fact, I'm planning to take my dad here for Father's Day--it's the perfect spot for a relaxing and enjoyable time. If you're a cigar aficionado or someone looking to explore the world of cigars, Neumann's Cigars & More is the place to be. You won't be disappointed! read more

Review #300 goes to one of my favorite local shops. I stopped in during their Black Friday specials and the place was jammed! It was the first time I took advantage of their BF specials, as usually we are out of town. While the place was crowded, the staff had total control of the place and the wait was not that bad. It's actually the only BF sale that I took advantage off all day. Then of course I had to come back the next day and take advantage of the AMEX small business offer and spend some more quality time and $ here. If I am in town, will be there on my b-day to take advantage of the La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor Reserva Event. The prices are fair, the selection vast and the staff accommodating: what more could you ask for? Well, I guess if they can open the windows a crack to air the place out. Outside of that, this is as good as it gets for a local cigar merchant. read more

This place is awesome. The selection is solid and the lounge is top notch. Definitely coming back.

Ken and Julie have been operating a high quality cigar shop for over 20 years+. In the North suburbs they are the place to go. Great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, GREAT selection! read more

Hands down the BEST cigar buying experience anywhere. Their team makes me feel like a VIP each time( Sean especially). Whether your a new cigar or seasoned pro- you will enjoy the visit. You will also find brands that no one else carries. Their seasonal sales and events are a terrific value add too. Treat yourself and visit!! read more

The good people at Neumann's Cigar really know how to make a first impression. They have a beautiful smoking area and wide selection of sticks to choose from. The man who worked with me really knew his Cigars. I walked away with some high end Ashton's at a tasty price. Neumann's offers a wide variety of Smoking accessories as well. Everything from high end cutters and lighters to humidors and travel cases. In other words, if Neumann's doesn't have it, nobody will. Here's the bottom line: If you're a Cigar smoker and looking for a top notch shopping experience, head on down to Neumann's Cigars & more. You will be treated like Royalty and find the Cigars you want at the best prices in the Chicagoland area. Now that's a winner!! read more

The Long Grove location just opened recently. They also have a location in Libertyville (I haven't been to that one yet). Very friendly and knowledgable staff. It's more like an old house that was gutted and renovated into a cigar lounge. You feel like you're in a friend's house, and it's a really cool atmosphere. The lounge upstairs is like being in someone's living room. Plenty of seating, plus a private conference room for meetings. I wish it was closer to me (prob 30 miles from me), but thankfully I have some friends that live nearby, I'll be able to go back! They have the usual smokes, plus a handful that I hadn't heard of before. I'm always up for trying a new brand, and it's good to check out other lounges. If you're in the area, stop in for a smoke, I think you'll enjoy it. read more

Best cigar shop in the Northwest Suburbs! Staff is very friendly and cigar selection is awesome! The upstairs lounge with private lockers and big screen tv's are awesome. The comfortable chairs and free wifi makes it a great place to go relax with a great cigar and get some work done or have some great conversations with some great guys! Love this store! read more

Nice cigar shop with a very comfortable smoking lounge . The gentleman who assisted us was friendly and helpful. The lounge has 2 TVs overstuffed furniture and some private areas as well . It is well ventilated. The prices are good with high end and main stream cigar brands. Davidoff, Arturo Fuentes and Don pippin to name a few. We found this spot while on vacation. A good find for sure. read more

Neumann's Cigars & More - Nice cigar shop. Sitting upstairs in the very comfortable smoking room enjoying a Don Pepin Garcia cigar with my guy. - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Long Grove, Illinois

Very impressed with my first visit here. Had upscale boutique feel, clean, top notch walk-in humidor, and great selection. Jim the manager was super nice and gave me a tour of the place. This will be my new get away to watch a special sporting event with that magical cigar scent and fog in the room. read more

I have been a pipe and cigar aficionado for more than a decade and am regularly on the road. A couple years ago, I moved to the area and found Neumann's. This place is a haven for great cigars and comfort. The staff are exceptionally friendly. The will do anything (within reason) to show their appreciation for your business. it really does feel like an extended family. They take the time to learn the preferences of their regulars and almost always have what you want in stock. The cigar selection is excellent, though I usually stick to my steady favorites. If you're from out of town, you need to remember that Illinois has an 18% tax on cigars, so factor that in before you judge Neumann's on the prices. Excluding this, I find them to be very competitive. The entire second floor has been converted into a lounge. Segmented into a small semi-private room and a larger open space, there is ample seating and better than usual air-handling. Leather seats all-around, plenty of ashtrays, and two HD TVs make Neumann's a great place to relax, socialize or serve as a second office. Overall, this is a rare thing among B&M shops. They really do it right! read more

Great selection, great staff in a cool comfortable lounge. My favorite spot to take a 60 minute vacation! read more

As others have commented, C&M has a great selection, good location and very nice smoking lounge that is comfortable and well ventilated (you don't come home with too many tell-tale signs you have been smoking...) But the big difference with C&M is that their staff knows their stuff. They have helped me expand my knowledge and appreciation of fine cigars. Once you share what cigars you tend to prefer - they know what other cigars you should try, why you should try them, what drink to pair with, etc. They understand that cigar smoking is not so much a matter of an investment of money - even at the high end - but an investment of time. I rely on the C&M team to help me max out both. read more

I made my first visit there today and was very impressed. They had a wide variety of cigars, tobaccos, and accessories. The upstairs lounge was awesome, with comfortable seating and ventilation and just a great atmosphere in general. I'll definitely be back as it's 1000% better than having to smoke a good cigar in my cold garage. Chris was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and sealed the deal to keep me as a regular. read more

This is my first time visiting a smoke shop and boy was I impressed. The lounge is very clean and the plush leather couches and openness was very comfortable and well ventilated. The humidor was just right with a good selection of cigars and accessories that were priced just right. The staff was pleasant and very knowledgeable. Being a newbie I was treated with respect and was given good advise on some cigars to try out. I will defiantly be back. read more

Best cigar shop in the area. Great environment and very helpful and friendly staff. Long Grove location is sweet. Don't forget to check out the upstairs smoking lounge. read more

It was the first time my husband and I were there. My husband is not a connoisseur by any stretch, but he walked in knowing what he was looking for. Sean who was helping us said that they didn't have that brand but was able to suggest a cigar that was similar in taste and body. My husband ended up buying four. In any case, Sean was so helpful and wonderful that he sets the bar for how all people should be treated. He is the reason that we will be coming back there. Hands down. What a pleasure. read more

I come her with my boyfriend to get cigars for him fairly often. He's been on the hunt for the best cigars around our area and this is his go to place! We've been to a handful of cigar shops and none even compare. At Neumanns they have a large walk in humidor with hundreds of different cigars. I don't smoke but I always love coming here because the smell from the humidor is simply divine. All the staff are unbelievably knowledgeable and always ask if you need help. Its amazing how spot on they can describe these cigars and give you a great smoke. If you go in and tell them your budget, the style cigar you are looking for, the tones of smoke you want, and how heavy you want it, they will take you through and recommend a nice selection of different brands all that match your needs. They even have a very nice lounge upstairs where you can go and enjoy a cigar on a nice sofa. Overall this is the best place my boyfriend has found! read more

I enjoy going to Neumann's in Long Grove. It is close to home and features a walk-in humidor with a great selection of sticks! Lighters, cutters and humidors are just the start in this shop. The staff there is always friendly and enthusiastic about the latest inventory and always happy to make suggestions. The cigar lounge upstairs is comfortable with big screen televisions and nice big chairs. They even have lockers for lease to keep your cigars in. I happen to like Xikar products and they have everything I need right here. Ken and Julie are the nicest people and they run a great shop! Love to support local business! read more

The owners and staff are extremely knowledgeable about cigars and laser focused on customer satisfaction. The facility in Long Grove has a lower lever with a large walk in humidor and some very nice other items for sale such as pens, cuff links, humidors, lighters, and other items you would expect to find in a cigar shop. It is very pretty, all wood and nicely organized. Upstairs is the place to take your cigar and enjoy it. Two wide screen TV's. Leather chairs. There is a small conference room in the event you need to hold a meeting. It is incredibly comfortable with an outstanding ventilation system. Bottom line, one of the best cigar stores and smoking lounge I have ever been to. Highly recommend it. read more

As far as the lounge is concerned, i still prefer Havana Joe's. However, in general this place is great. Fantastic selection, very polite and helpful staff, and everything is clean. The lounge upstairs is pretty solid. Prices are definitely fair. One of my favorite cigars is actually $4 cheaper per stick here than my usual spot. I hear their Libertyville location is awesome and i plan to check that out and will be back here too. read more

Fantastic service and very knowledgeable staff. Great lounge, locker service and a conference/board room for the...um... business meetings. Yeah - that's the ticket! "I was late getting home honey because the meeting ran over!" read more

Very friendly and helpful staff, great cigars (fairly priced) and nice leather chairs...very relaxing atmosphere!

Cigars & More is simply as good as it gets. While the Liibertyville location is warm and friendly, the Long Grove location offers a more business friendly environment and is an excellent place to take clients after dinner at one of the several restaurants near by. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the selection is excellent. Prices are extremely reasonable, even when it comes to higher end cigars. Everything is at MSRP, including Padron Anniversaries, Opus X, Fuente Anejos, and the rest of the cigars other stores tend to gouge. In short, because of the people their unmatched commitment to their customers and to giving back to their community, I will go well out of my way to buy from Cigars & More every time. read more

So apparently nice cigars cannot be unrolled and used as blunt wraps. I didn't know this until about 3 hours later after the guys finally let me out of the damn humidor room. They explain every little detail about cigars which is a total waste because they are terrible for your lungs but whiskey makes it way better. Ahhh. read more

A great place to purchase smoke. Great selection, service and price. Nice surrounding shops too, if the lady is with you and wants to do some shopping or grab a glass of wine! read more

I recently went to Neumann's during the holidays for the first time. Although I had some 'issue's' on my first visit, after talking to Keenen about it, I received the best customer service I've ever had. He made sure I was well taken care of and satisfied with them. I've never seen someone go above and beyond like that before. I will never go to another cigar shop other than Neumann's! I highly recommend that if you're looking for a specific cigar and want some comfort and great customer service, be sure to hit Neumann's in Long Grove. You won't be sorry. read more

I can't imagine going to this cigar lounge and not having a great experience. Their walk-in humidor has an incredibly extensive selection of cigars. Very reasonable prices on high quality tobacco. They even have a free club membership which tracks your spend and allows you to redeem points for in store rewards. Sean was extremely knowledgeable on their collection, and patiently walked me through all of their offerings in the flavor profiles I was looking for. Their lounge is very laid back, with an upscale club atmosphere. This relatively low key establishment is definitely the perfect spot to light up and relax. read more

great atmosphere. customer service is top notch. cigar selection is extensive and top shelf. staff is always friendly and extremely helpful.

I was in the area from out of town, and I wanted to pick up a few cigars for a party. The employee that I talked to was very knowledgeable. I explained to him what I had enjoyed in the past, and he recommended a few cigars to try. I ended up with what I consider the 2nd best cigar I have ever smoked. This shop is very novice friendly, and they will work with you to ensure you end up with a smoke you will enjoy. read more

After paying an arm and a leg for cigars in Cook County, I finally discovered Neumann's. Who knew that such benefits were there to be had just by crossing Lake Cook Road?! The prices are fantastic, the selection immense, and the staff is responsive, courteous, and helpful. And the place is beautiful. This is not your father's cigar store. It is refrehing to find a great cigar store that doesn't feel like you have stumbled into a wormhole in time and landed in a good ole boys smoking club in the 1950s! No dark paneling; no musty, stale clouds of cigar smoke -- just a great store that is well-lighted, spacious, and fresh. A great experience! read more

I highly recommend Cigars and More. Ken and Julie own both the Libertyville and the Long Grove locations and together with their friendly and knowledgeable staff are the reason I will never go anywhere else for cigars or accessories. They have an impressive inventory of cigars and smoking accessories and if you ever have any questions, they will lend an honest and unbiased opinion. The relaxing atmosphere in Libertyville and Long Grove make it a great destination to gather with old friends and make new friends as well. Ken and Julie take the time to know every one of their customers by name and welcome new customers like old friends into their home as well. In addition to having great prices on an unbelievable selection, they also offer private lockers for customers that are interested in storing their smokes in house. Run, don't walk to Cigars and More, you'll be glad you did! read more

If you need a great place to find a good cigar and smoke it, this is it. They have a huge selection, an amazing crew and prices that do not reflect the address.
