This groups has a poor attitude when working with industrial property. Ask the guy not blow around my car and he would not stop until I had to walk up him he could see me. Then his boss says will stuff blows around like he did not care. I had to explained I told his employee to stop and he kept going. I seen blower employees from other company with blower nozzle facing toward the ground. This guy's blower was up and spaying stuff on my car. And again when I talked with the guy that understood me his tongue in cheek apologetic attitude just did not work for me. You get what you pay for. read more

Corey and his team were wonderful from start to finish. My family recently moved into a new construction home, and had a completely unfinished, untouched, pile-of-dirt backyard that we really had no idea how to even get started on. After several months of staring at the dirt (and also, in our defense, focusing on other issues involved with moving into a new house) we finally decided to get it landscaped. I called 11 different businesses (after reading countless reviews on yelp and also posting and asking for suggestions on facebook, google+ etc). Of the 11 businesses I called, I liked four enough to ask them to come and actually give me an estimate. Of the four, one just flat-out never gave me an estimate, even after I left a voicemail message, one estimate came in a little lower than Corey's, and one came in a little higher. The reason we went with Corey though was his professional and knowledgeable attitude and expertise, which was readily apparent throughout the process. Pre-Contract: 1. Corey actually came out twice, once to meet with me (I work from home) and then again, because I liked him but wanted my husband to meet him, to meet with my husband and me and talk over the design. 2. Now, my husband and I are not really gardening people, and so we really had very little idea in terms of what we wanted (beyond general: some patio, some grass, some trees?) or even what kind of a budget we should have been thinking about. Corey was great in terms of saying you could do x, y, z, I would lean x because of blah, y would be okay, but z is a bad idea, honestly, because of blah and blah. We needed someone to say these things to us because we really didn't know... You might think you want this tree, but it's fairly prone to disease, and unless you're telling me you're gardening pros (we're not), then it's just not going to be a good idea for your family. 3. He was conscientious of our budgetary concerns (all three estimates came in a little higher than I was hoping, though again, I didn't have a good sense initially) and wonderful about saying: look, here's where we might trim the budget a little and you'd still be happy, etc 4. He gave us a line-itemized estimate that was detailed and thus very possible to then say, we don't want this, we want more of this, less of that, etc... During the Work: 1. Corey was VERY understanding when I had second thoughts about the size of my patio. Even though we had signed and agreed, when the concrete people came, I realized I wanted a slightly bigger patio (and I changed the shape of it as well) and he was wonderful about fitting in those concerns and adapting to our changing needs. 2. Abel was probably the point man in terms of being the single guy who was there every single day, but he was excellent, and beyond that Corey was there... almost all the time. If he wasn't there, he called and checked in to make sure things were going well. All of the people who worked on our yard were professional, knowledgeable and just all-around great. They checked in, checked with my opinions at key stages so that I felt intricately involved with the entire process and were also good about times when I said: I don't know, just tell me what might be best here and I'll trust your judgement. After the Work: 1. Right after everything was done, Corey took me around the yard and walked me through plant by plant (because I had been very honest about my limitations in terms of gardening) what and how to take care of my garden. I took notes, and was so pleased that he had taken the time to do that. 2. Corey's been great about checking in with us afterwards, even though the yard's pretty much done (the patio still has to be sealed, but everything else is completely finished, and looks great). Basically, we were extraordinarily pleased with Corey and his team. there was a moment, early on, when we were almost swayed be one of the other bids (they had a really, really pretty picture/design concept drawn out for our yard, whereas Corey's one weakness, I would say, is that he's not so much a drawer, as a spray-painter in terms of he'll spray out what the design looks like and talk it over with you). Ultimately, we went with Corey because we realized that the pretty picture the other company had drawn? It wasn't really as functional for our family (couple small kids, etc), whereas Corey had really thought through... here's where you might want some shade, here's where these trees should go because of blah and blah, here's how these plants will grow to cover that AC unit from your line of sight, etc I think he's someone who really cares about the final product being something that you and your family will really enjoy and appreciate, and recommend him enthusiastically! read more

Corey and his team recently completed re-landscaping my front and back yards. I would highly recommend Neu-Scapes to others for the following reasons: 1. Corey is trustworthy. He doesn't try to scam you or pressure you to spend more than you can afford. 2. Corey's pricing is competitive. I got quotes from two other bidders and his pricing was much better than one and only slightly above the other. 3. His team is very capable and thorough. They did a great job with the installation. I also felt very comfortable at home the days they were on my property doing the installation. 4. He was able to work on my project in a reasonable time frame. Some of the other landscapers that I interviewed said it would be months before they could work on my project. Highly recommend. Excellent service from start to end, personable, and professional. Corey is a small business owner and runs his landscaping business with aplomb. His quotes are competitive, his responses are prompt, and he sticks to the budget in hand. His crew is neat, courteous, skilled, cheerful, hardworking (and how!), and knowledgeable. He transformed our backyard wasteland into a beautiful gem, complete with fruit trees and a variety of plants, curved concrete walkway, artfully laid sod, sturdy raised garden boxes, dreamy lighting, and reliably laid out irrigation. He also did a masterful job on a built-in BBQ island. Corey was a great guy to work with throughout the process. Unlike other contractors, he concentrates on a single job at a time for 1-3 weeks, making it easy to discuss plans, come up with new ideas etc. Corey is a man of his word - if he says he is going to do something for a client, he will get it done. No dilly-dallying, no hemming-and-hawing, no "this change was $x last month, but today it's $x times 8" nonsense. He gave excellent tips on plants and their placement according to light/water/maintenance, and probably saved me from several seasons of headache by convincing me to alternate my plants between evergreen and deciduous. He also provided many cost-saving tips and was honest about which costs outweighed the benefits, or where it made sense to spend a bit more for better quality. I never felt pressured to go along with his plans for the sake of it. His crew, Abel and Gonzalo (a big heartfelt thank you to the boys - they were fantastic!!) listened to me, gave me ideas where necessary, and helped me with minor items that were not on the original contract. I highly highly recommend Corey! I had a very similar experience to Marie C., so I will use her structure to share my experience. In short, Corey and his team was amazing throughout the process! Pre-work: 1. Very responsive: I talked to about ~10 landscapers and got 6 quotes. If you are looking at landscapers right now in 2018, you know it is a SUPER busy time! Its hard to get landscapers to even respond to you. Corey is also super busy, but he makes time and was the most responsive of all the ones I contacted. 2. Quote was detailed and reasonable: Corey is not the cheapest (I had 2 bids that were lower but you can tell they are cutting corners and/or are misleading you (e.g., low quote, then higher at the end)) and he is the not most expensive (I had 2 bids that were a lot more expensive without much explanation as to why). So it came down to Corey and another landscaper. 3. Corey is very genuine: When you talk to Corey, you can tell he is genuine and really cares about his customers (not like a lot of other reps I spoke with who were more salesy). He was really patient in answering all of my questions and showed a willingness to make adjustments on the fly. Overall, I trusted Corey more than anyone I spoke with during the process. 4. Rave reviews at my company: Although Corey only has 10 reviews on Yelp, he had 12 positive reviews from fellow colleagues at my company. Because of this + all the reason above, we went with Corey. Work: 1. His crew is super efficient: Most landscapers told me it would take 6-8 weeks of work for my design. Corey said he could do it in 2 weeks - I was really skeptical, but he was absolutely right! Overall, it took about a month because of rain and Thanksgiving, but his team only needed ~9 working days to finish everything. The reason his team works so well is because he employs a larger crew (4-6 people onsite vs. my neighbor's landscaper has only 2 people at a time) that is very experienced and professional. They know what they are doing and they do it right the first time. 2. His team is flexible: We made a couple of adjustments (e.g., moved the patio a few feet, added more lights, etc.) and his team was able to do it very quickly. Post-work: 1. Corey does a thorough walkthrough afterwards: As Marie mentioned, he walked through each of the plants and the maintenance required for each one. 2. Overall project came in on budget: Corey does a great job of managing expenses. We ended up picking cheaper pavers which saved us some money and we added some lights / moved the patio which cost us some money. Overall, we came in on budget. Overall, we are super happy that we partnered with Corey and his team! Our backyard is absolutely beautiful and it finished much faster than our neighbor (who started 2 weeks before us and is still not done!). read more

This landscaper is as good as it gets in terms of service, reliability, and quality of work!!! The owner, Cory Neuman, was very pleasant to work with, as was his crew. They came on time (a rarity), did what he said they would and completed the entire job in only two weeks: removing a dead grass lawn, plus a large area overgrown with tangled junipers; and demolishing and replacing one large old cracked concrete patio with a new concrete foundation topped with flagstone. He replaced the prior ugly landscape with two hundred plants, walkways, a new outdoor sitting area and he installed automatic watering systems and outdoor lights. Corey and his guys completely turned a mud pit mess of a yard into a beautiful flat, well-drained grass and floral paradise. He supervised every step of the process, but his guys also worked really well when he was not there. The scope of our project was huge... yard was fully graded, three major retaining walls were installed, and drainage was added to the whole yard. He also took care of subbing out a fence, a deck, pavers, and help me choose and purchase plants for the existing beds. They also installed a full sprinkler and drip system, on a timers, and sodded the yard in the front and the back. I have had few problems with the sprinklers since our yard was completed, and Corey has happily sent his guys out to fix them. You can trust Corey not to scam you, to give you a competitive price, to work closely with you through the whole project, to stay on budget, and to complete the job. I've reached a point of trusting their vision for my landscaping projects or encouraging their input. Corey has a great eye and is great at design as well as knowing what plants will do well in my area. It's so frustrating to deal with most contractors, but with Corey, if he says he'll be there, he will or he will call in advance & let you know the reason for his delay. Corey and his guys did a great job. We have a fairly small backyard (a few thousand square feet maybe), but they were done in 2 days. He worked with us on price so we could stay within our budget (which was pretty small). We got two planter boxes, some nice plants with color, a new irrigation system, and mulch, as well as an extended patio of flagstone and goldfines for our bbq. It looks awesome! Corey was great to work with: very responsive (quick to return phone calls or emails), well-informed, helped us find plants that would be "sturdy" enough for our dog and 2-year-old, did an informative walkthrough with us, and just seems like a good guy all around. He had another guy build the planter boxes, and one (which is an L-shape) turned out crooked. He had the guy come back out to fix it, but it still wasn't done well. Corey agreed and had the guy come out again, but this time supervised. It was a pain, but great that Corey was willing to work with us on it and that he saw the same issues we did (made a bit less painful). Overall, the design was good, the job was fast, and everything looks really good. Will definitely recommend to friends! read more
