He runs a weird shopping center with a strange mix of stores, but the real racket is the parking! He's now charging $5 for all day parking (no in and outs!) The lot seemed safe. Inside the store, it seems that he's trying to sell some assortment of antiques and beer paraphernalia, including a sweet looking Lone Star Beer tap handle! (Only $60!) Other than that, it was mainly sodas and snacks, and extremely over priced water toys. The guy was friendly, and the signs made it real clear where to park and where not to. The dam was a lot of fun- make sure to go sliding down the front of it! Wooooooooeeeeeeee!!! Don't wear your best swim suit- I've ended up with holes in my shorts after sliding down so many times!

You definitely see a lot of the old timers hanging out here at the table inside the store, and the employees are helpful and friendly. I almost knocked off a star, because the air compressor outside doesn't have a pressure gauge. The personalized service I get from the employees makes up for that.

As you all may know alcoholic beverages were not really available in this area but that seems to have changed. They have alcoholic beverages for sale...(beer) here at Flip Flop. There is even a liquor store located right next door. On a side note it is kind of high priced but where else you gonna have access to the adult drinks. There is an outdoor patio located on the other side of the store and a really nice swimming pool. The pool is open to the public for a small fee. All in all they seem. Because of this experience, I will not be coming back. I do not recommend supporting businesses that treat customers so rudely.
