I wanted to buy a particular eggnog brand - it's really good for French toast - and found it at this local store. Surprisingly, it has a drive through lane and the service is fast. You hit that lane and drive to the back and a friendly person comes to the window and greet you with a smile. You tell them what you're looking for and they'll have it for you wrapped in a brown paper bag. You pay with a card or cash, and off you go. I've never been inside but it's a liquor store and adjacent to it is an oil change place with the same name, probably owned by the same people who owns the liquor store. If you need an oil change in your car, drive next door and walk to the liquor store and buy your alcohol! One stop shop!

When going on weekend drives down 46 (and when in the Boerne area) we usually stop here. The restrooms have always been clean and the employees are pretty friendly. There's also a small train set off to the right when you come in although I've never seen it running. From what I've read, the Old No 9 route disappeared a long time ago but the history 'remains in the spirit' here. If you're a traveler or not familiar with the area, they also have a rack in the back of the store that holds brochures for things to do (I think most of the information is for the Hill Country if memory serves).
