Out of the litany of employees that have come and gone, only two or three of them possessed the people skills to work in a customer-facing role. For the longest time, the shelves were bare. Employees claimed it was due to shipping issues. But whatever. The soda fountains were only dispensing the correct amount of syrup and carbonation for the first month after I arrived. I no longer bother trying to purchase any. BUT, my BIGGEST complaint comes from this evening. It is hot outside as always and I did want some ice water from the fountain. I got a styrofoam Big Gulp cup, filled it with ice, and water. After waiting an unnecessarily long time in line because the cashier was yacking it up with the customer in front of me, I finally got the answer to my question: "How much is this cup of ice water?" The cashier oddly did not know this off the top of her head, so she scanned it. A whopping $1.72. "I have to charge you for the cup," she explained in defense of my growing irritation. I'm sorry, but a styrofoam cup, lid, and straw does not and has never cost $1.72. I have traveled all over the country and I have NEVER paid that much for water out of a fountain OR for a cup! The worst part of it was being lied to. I'm not that damn dumb, to swallow that load of crap. Clearly the owners are profiteering on the human need for WATER (in south central Texas in the heat of the summer). SHAME ON THEM.

I tried to buy some nicotine pouches hand the lady(manager) working the cash register my id she tells me she can't except it because it's expired, I tell her to look, then she sees its not then says she can sell me nicotine because its a vertical ID, so I try and explain that its legal if its not expired, the ID swipes and scans and I'm actually 21z so then she scans it. The ID goes through and she looks at me and says I'm still not selling to you. Which at this point I say "well that's some ducking bullshit" to which she responds "well then you can grab your shit and get the duck out of my store" so I am pissed at this point and walk out and tell her to fuck off. At this point she starts yelling at her employees to follow me outside get my license plate and call the cops. This response seemed completely irrational and I would hate someone else to go through it so she probably needs to be fired immediately. I then drive to the convenience store a block away but my same pouches with my same ID and it gets scanned goes through and I purchase them with no problem.
