Truly Life-Changing Care…read more The Harmony Center for Whole Being has been an amazing and transformative part of my healing journey. I've received life-changing Network Spinal care from both Dr. Gianna and Dr. Kevin, and the results have gone far beyond just physical improvements. My posture has noticeably improved, and I feel more open, emotionally resilient, and fluid as I move through life's challenges and gifts. Dr. Gianna, in particular, has offered an incredibly attuned and holistic approach that's deeply impacted my overall well-being. She's supported me through many layers of healing -- even helping me navigate my PMDD with personalized suggestions and heartfelt care. Her attention to detail and genuine connection made me feel truly seen and supported in all aspects of life, not just during the entrainments. The community somatics nights were another powerful addition -- blending the spinal care with breathwork and embodied practices in a small, supportive group setting. These experiences helped integrate the work on even deeper levels. I can't recommend the Harmony Center highly enough. It's been a life-changing, deeply nourishing experience that's helped me grow in strength, flexibility, and inner alignment.

I started seeing her when I was pregnant with my twins and I was so uncomfortable during that pregnancy but her work was one of the only things that helped. I was also able to have a healthy pregnancy and labor in part because of Nancy! Chiropractic work is tremendously helpful for us as parents of young ones because it helps us not get nearly so many viruses! The kids bring home a lot of colds and we don't often get sick when we're good about getting regular adjustments. We brought our eldest and in Nancy's first assessment she noticed that my child's adrenals are on overdrive, their C spine is completely jammed, and their hips and back are all kinds of wonky. Although they are just nine, they are an athlete. Probably more so than anyone in my family! They spend their life in motion. Kids often benefit greatly from chiropractic work! Especially a specialist like Nancy. We hope to help their nervous system calm down and even regulate some of the ADHD like symptoms they display. We send our whole family to Nancy!

She has relied upon Dr. Joseph to treat her not only for back issues but also for migraines for over twenty-five years, and I switched to him some fifteen years ago. I would call Dr. Joseph "a chiropractic genius." Many a time, I have gone in hunched over with back pain, and I have exited standing straight up with no pain remaining. A few years ago, I had a very severe bout with vertigo and went to my medical doctor for treatment. Nothing he tried worked. Then I mentioned it to Dr. Joseph. In the space of three office visits during which he adjusted my cervical spine, I was totally free of vertigo and any dizziness--and have remained so ever since. In our experience, Dr. Joseph is more than a chiropracter. He is a healer. To your health, Martin Bernbaum

I see that most of these reviews are from one or more years ago, so I will update you with my…read moreexperience. I reached out to Dr Joseph because I was having some serious on-going issues with my back over a month that evolved into my neck. I appreciated that he was willing to see me the same day when others I reached out to could not. I'm an athlete, know my body and am no rookie to Chiropractic adjustments when I know my body is "off." I made that clear to him up front and that I just needed a thorough adjustment. However, when I arrived I was given a full new patient in-take (7 pages) and then a consultation-assessment of my issues (15 minutes). He suggested an X-ray was needed. I reiterated that I just needed a full body adjustment. Finally, he proceeded to do one small adjustment to my lower spine and hip. And when I asked about adjusting my neck he said he would not do it without an x-ray (with an added cost) and a follow-up appointment. I was very frustrated that I didn't really feel any better ( as I had in all positive chiropractic experiences prior). But the most egregious of it was that he said I owed him $125 for the consultation-evaluation, which on his website says it's "free" -and another $85 for the minor "adjustment". This was clearly excessive, but I just wanted to move on... All this said, I don't want to undermine other folk's positive experiences; this was just mine. But I do know that his adjustment did nothing to help me and a few days later I made the hour drive to my previous chiropractor on the peninsula and he adjusted the hell out of me as requested, charged me $80 and I'm right as rain!

If you want to see someone who really...no I mean REALLY knows what he is doing, stop your Yelp search right here, right now! Pick up your phone and dial his number! It's 650-291-0709. I am a hairstylist who stands ALL day, admittedly wears shoes I probably shouldn't...but they're CUTE! And I HAD bad sciatica. Dr. D had me have my back and neck x-rayed with another gentleman that works in the same facility. (but from what I remember he is only there to take x-rays Monday, Wednesday and Friday.) So needless to say my spine is not in tip-top shape..not too horrible, but not perfect either. I've got some pinching going on here and there. I thought I had carpal tunnel also, until he showed me my x-ray and 2 of my vertebra are almost touching, causing the same symptoms. Well, we've been working on the issue for a little while and I no longer have the carpal tunnel feeling in my wrists! I TRY to see him every 2 weeks just to keep my back and neck loose. I also had a saliva test done last year to figure out why I had a chronic cough/sinus pressure and pain. Well, he gave me the vial to send my saliva in and he told me the results...ALLERGIES!! Food allergies and not airborne like I thought! ALSO...my daughter's father comes down from Sacramento to see him too! He does a lot of heavy lifting and manual labor for work and his back can get really tight. So he makes the trip from Sac to San Bruno! Now if that doesn't tell you something about the quality of Dr. D's practice, then I don't know what will!! So Dr. D is more than your regular friendly neighborhood chiropractor!! make your appointment NOW!! p.s. The decor isn't all that up to date...but then again..it's not the decor that's going to fix your back!!!
