I am a teacher, so I purposefully scheduled an AM appt so that they could come while I was at work and my dogs at daycare. I only communicated 4 times about the garage code and not being home. I guess they needed 5 reminders? They didn't show up until 3:18 pm (for a morning appt) with no reason as to why and then knocked on the door only to leave within 13 seconds. Literally 13 seconds is all you are worth to Flex as a customer after them making you wait all day. Thankfully I noticed on the cameras and had to contact them yet again about them just leaving. They went to service someone else because they couldn't read basic instructions. My house wasn't serviced until 4:28 PM, for a morning appt, meaning my dogs were in the house within 30 minutes of treatment. I went out of my way to schedule it in the morning so this wouldn't happen. Amanda, with Flex, told me that the tech who came on 8/17 is most likely getting fired because his lack of reading skills isn't the only issue. Amanda, per Flex, said this tech left a wasps net at an elderly woman's home after service and her grandchildren got into it. They don't respond to texts or emails unless it's about paying your bill for a service you didn't get. They will ask you to identify the "problem areas" so they can "treat them better" and then totally ignore them. If a 3 second sweep of the baseboard is "extra attention" I'd be so curious to see non-extra. It would be non-existent, just like the "good service" of flex. Absolutely do not waste your money on this company. They'll do a horrible job, not withhold their end of the contract, and then try to force you to pay for something that you didn't get. Give them the 13 seconds that they give customers and Google another company in those 13 seconds.

We contacted Surfco just before Thanksgiving to help us assess and repair the damage caused by our…read morewasher flooding part of our home. From the beginning they seemed to not want to answer many of our questions and aggressively pusged us to let them start right away. Once we agreed to what they recommended they began work and we began to have more than a few issues. A different person came out each day to check on the loud machines that were running 24/7 in our home and they each would tell us something different about the progress. One day we were told it was almost dry and the next day we were told it was still soaking wet. We were told our tile may need to be ripped up due to the reading a supervisor took with the meter they all used that said our tile was soaking wet underneath. When I asked the people who came the next day about the tile they told me that the meter did not work on the tile and would always read as soaking wet no matter what due to the temperature of the tile. This continued on for about 5 days each day bringing contradictions. They finally deemed our house dry, pulled the machines out, and let us know they would send out the repair person to give an estimate and get started sometime in the next week. It took almost two months for the repairs to begin. We had to deal with a 3sqft part of our wall being gone, no baseboards in half of our house, said baseboards being piled and stored in various places in our living room and garage, and one of our doors that leads to our garage not having a frame which made it very difficult to keep our house the correct temperature. Once repairs finally began they were not what was promised. We were told the baseboards would be picked up, taken to their work space, professionally spray painted and repaired before being put back. When we arrived home and our baseboard were back on it took only a glance to see brush marks on them. We were told plastic would be put down to protect our floors while they were in our home working, but our dark floors still have bright white caulk and paint on them that we will now have to clean off. When the caulk was applied to the baseboards it went up the wall and overall looked very messy. When we asked for this to be fixed, they begrudgingly did so and then proceeded to say that they could only partially fix it "due to the shape the wall was already in." During the removal of the baseboards part of our wall was damaged and we received the same line when we asked them to fix the damage that they had caused. Things in our kitchen (where no damage was being repaired) were broken, which we would not have known if the clean up attempt hadn't been done poorly causing us to find pieces of glass on our floor. One of the holes that they drilled was not covered by the baseboard when they were reinstalled, but it was left that way until we explicitly asked that they fix it. They missed places that needed to be repainted and overall had zero attention to detail causing my husband and I to have to constantly check the work that was done and request fixes. Any time we did this the supervisors would blame the workers they brought in to do the work and say that "they just don't understand English". A supervisor went into parts of our home on the complete opposite side of where they were working and let out one of our dogs. We received a text about this saying that our dog was loose in the master bedroom. We informed them that both of our dogs were closed in the office on the opposite side of the house from the master bedroom. The next day we received another text that let us know they would be "finishing up a few miner things" on Monday and that we needed to make sure our dogs were put up. Our dogs are both friendly, but the one they let out is 70 lbs and is a jumper. She could very easily knock over someone who is not ready for her greeting. Which is why we put them on the opposite side of the house behind closed doors. The dog they let out is also not a quiet dog. If the fact that that side of the house didn't have any evidence of work being done, everything was pushed over to that side to be out of their way, and all the doors on that side were closed and the doors on the side they worked on were open didn't tip him off that he was on the wrong side of the house, the loud whining and barking should have at least made him pause before opening the door and letting her out. Every supervisor we talked to was unprofessional at best and some of them were down right rude. This company then sent us an invoice to sign and when we reviewed it, we noticed that there were multiple line items that we shouldn't have been charged for. The only time this company has shown any form of attention to detail is when they are attempting to point out mistakes in our emails back and forth with them about the mistakes in billing. They made a stressful situation into an absolute nightmare that lasted almost three months. I'd give 0/5 stars if I could.

Natural State Pest Control sent two individuals out to assess my house's needs. We asked for a…read morequote for termites primarily, but were considering their full range of protection against spiders, ants, mosquitoes, etc.. They looked over my house and detached garage and provided a quote for all services and explained that it would be cheaper to bundle all services into one setup fee instead of paying setup fees every time we wanted a new protection offering added. I was assured that the quote would be good for 60 days and would cover both my house and garage space. We shopped around a bit, but a month later decided to start only with termite protection and scheduled someone to come out for the install. When the installer arrived, he immediately informed me that only the house would be covered for the quoted installation price and I would need to pay four times the amount to include my garage space. I told him there was no way I would pay that since I was assured the original quote included the garage. He said he would make a call to see what the office wanted to do about it. He came back and apologized saying there were newer sales guys involved on my original quote but there was no wiggle room on the 4x setup amount and left. I called the office and asked to speak to a manager about the situation. I was told that he was in a meeting all day, but would call me back as soon as possible. I never received a call. This was a complete bait and switch move with no response from management. If they can't even call me back, I suppose I shouldn't expect them to honor their quotes, either. BUYER BEWARE. STEER CLEAR.
