Unless you want to pay more for a la carte cable and internet from different providers for much more money....you have no choice. The sales people are fine. I haven't had real issues with the install contractors, besides being told when setting up my service that there is no installation or activation fee, and then they require that you pay them when they do the installation and activation. I *think* it is credited later to your account....but tell people that, for Chrissakes. Their service is regularly spotty or completely disrupted...most often when the weather is calm and clear and there are no reported outages. WTF, mate?! Our OnDemand stopped working for 3 months....we were just told to keep rebooting our modem. Which didn't work. But....what other choice do you have?

They couldn't give me a balance amount until after 2 days I left the country (mind you I've turned in the equipment already and notified them of my disconnect which they were fine with). Now lady on the phone wants me to wait til after I leave the country, send me a bill to an address I don't have, and then pay it off then. I just simply guessed out an amount to pay on since they couldn't do crap for me until after I leave. Oh another thing, the 20min wait on the phone to talk to a representative giving off fake enthusiasm and then being transferred over to another department. But before she transferred me she wanted to know if she provided great customer service... WTF? You provided me with no help whatsoever! The nerve to even ask... I just say "yes" just to keep the process moving. Now I'm being transferred and only to wait another 20mins, then finally speaking to another rep with the same fake enthusiasm is classic too. C'mon now, this is 2011, and times have changed, cut the crap and let's be real here.... Most of your clients aren't dummies and its kind of offensive when you make it sound so obvious.... Seriously, Insight Comm makes up part of the hated parts of Corporate America. All bureaucratic black and white, and little common sense. Cannot believe part of my principals of serving are for these A-holes to continue to do what they are doing now. Ugh..... Only reason I had them is because its the only provider in the area, which is a sad monopoly. Have Insight as your last ditch effort as a service provider. AVOID THEM at all possible cost!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great I thought, way to save me some money. But I just noticed that they have been charging me this whole time. Now that's 10 dollars a month for 15months so that's 150 bucks. Now I know i should have been more diligent with looking at my bills, but when I brought it to at&ts attention all they did was stop the service, tell me I'm probably gonna get charged for not returning a piece of equipment that I never had and give me a 30 dollar credit on my account. I asked if they could at least guarantee I won't get charged and they said no, but when it happens I could contact them again and they could investigate the matter further. 0 star customer service.

She advised I call back on or before 06/25/25 to cancel and the account would be closed and I would have a zero balance. I contacted AT&T on 06/20/25 and spoke with Evon, told her I was cancelling my service. She directed me to return the equipment to a UPS store and I would have a balance due through 07/03/25 of approx. $71.00. I explained what I had previously been told and she brushed me off. The equipment was returned on 06/20/25. I received a bill in the amount of $70.10 on 07/15/25. This is the second time I have been lied to and misled by AT&T representatives. What reputable company charges you for service on a closed account?? Do not use AT&T for any of their services.

It was the same thing every year, call them up and tell them that my bill was too high and then they would enact some discounts that would save me about $30 a month but were only good for a year. So the next year I'd have to call them up and do it all over again. Well last November when I called to complain about my bill they refused to lower the rate. I guess that now they're a part of AT&T they are unwilling to negotiate on price. So I decided to try switching to DISH. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! DISH suckers you in with their low initial rate but then once you add in extra packages to get what you want it ends up costing MUCH more. I believe their current introductory package starts off at $39. Sounds pretty good right? But wait, you want local channels? Well that's not included. You have to pay an extra $10 a month for that. Who the hell doesn't want local channels?!?! You want a DVR? That's extra also. You have 2 TV's? Yep there's an extra charge for that too. So my monthly bill ended up being $70 a month. That's quite a jump from $39 but still better than I was getting with DirecTV so I decided to go for it. The phone operator told me about the 2 year contract and I told him, "Hey wait a minute. I'm not signing up for 2 years when I haven't even tried your service out yet." I forget what he told me exactly but he definitely gave me the impression that I could cancel if I didn't like the service. When the DISH installer came out to set up my equipment I also asked him about a trial period and he told me I had 30 days to cancel. So everything was going OK until the day of the Super Bowl. We missed the end of the game so I tried to find highlights on ESPN only to find out the package I had did not include ESPN!!!! I called up DISH and was told, "If you want sports channels, that's an extra $10 a month." Gimme a break. What a scam! So now I'd have to pay $80 a month for pretty much basic cable. No pay channels like HBO. I just wanted the standard stuff like Food Network, HGTV, ESPN. So the next higher package was $84 a month and included ESPN but took away DIY and Cooking Channel!!!!! How frickin lame!!! So now I wasn't saving money over DirecTV anymore and decided to cancel the service. I had DISH send out the installer to remove their DISH and take their boxes back. To top it all off now they're trying to charge me a $500 early termination fee even though 2 people at their company told me their was a trial period!! I have filed a complaint with the Denver Better Business Buereau and I will be taking DISH to small claims court if they refuse the waive the fee. Stay far away from this company people. Their channel packages are completely predatory and set up so that the only way you can get the channels you want is to pay for the expensive plans.

Received an email that he/she wouldn't arrive until 8:30-9:15 PM. Who does that?!? He wouldn't even be able to see what needed done outside. Called Dish several times AND used the app chat. No one can give me an explanation. I asked for a bill credit since the tech never showed by 5 pm. Of course I was denied.
