They communication was poor from the day they were suppose to arrive 2 hours earlier and did not. Then really poor communication especially afterwards when I had questions about the work completed. Screw fell out of the vent installed that cost me $175. Quoted an all day job to make it seem like a big task to complete for the high cost and took less than 2 hours to complete. I originally used Ness on my personal house years ago, when we had water issues in a crawl space of a new construction house and we needed French drains installed under our house. They were great to work with then. In recent years, my company has worked with them several years as vendor, and we have had an excellent experience with them on this side too. They work hard to get restoration and home damage back together as quickly as possible and their staff is great to work with too. They most recently helped me with issues in my crawlspace in my current house too. read more

I would never use this company again. Use NESS get a MESS. I needed a vent cover installed on my foundation. They used what looked like an interior vent cover. WTH? The company that has to fixed it was surprised at what was done and the poor choices. If they do not know how to do proper fixes they should not pretend and then cause more issues. Cost almost $200 and my foundation may be compromised. And the vent probably cost less than $5. No clarification response to my emails on the work. read more

Abdi & Fred really came through for us! We had water in our crawlspace and mold from the moisture and a poorly installed vapor barrier in our new build home in Star, ID. Abdi worked with Mold Inspection Sciences, a company we hired to do a very detailed professional mold inspection for us because our family cannot detox mold - no mold is very crucial for us. Abdi and Fred made sure the remediation team followed Mold Inspection Sciences remediation directions to a T, to get rid of the mold in the crawlspace without putting me into terrible health flare ups... Fred really watched the remediation team closely to make sure they were providing clean, quality work and he also cleaned up any mess any other contractors made during the process of remediation. I prefer briefer reviews so people will read them BUT there is no way to briefly express how amazing this company is. Once I started talking to Ness, all my anxieties disappeared and I finally started seeing a light at the end of this very long tunnel that has consumed my 2022. Ness sent their team several weeks before originally scheduled to address mold that was unfortunately impacting my health and that of my animals. I'm still in awe at how smooth the coordinating with subcontractors went considering all the complex working parts of mold remediation in several areas of my home (entire crawlspace and areas in the kitchen, hot water storage closet, attic, and furnace platform). From the first call, Julie walked me through what to expect and answered questions I've had all year before I had a chance to ask. Anthony called with updates on a regular basis and was a man anyone would be blessed to have coordinate their project. Alfredo was thorough in his initial bid, soft hearted about a difficult situation, and also spent time clarifying the process. Abdi was Anthony's right hand man, coordinated, helped the crew be as efficient as possible, and directly answered all my questions in the moment. During final walk through, Abdi took time to answer my final few questions. And wow the head members of the crew, Fred and Rafa, I cannot say enough about these men. They were so thorough, were in my house for over a week doing work that most people would never want to do, and went above and beyond in getting the job done correctly, including quality check on all subcontractors. Fred finished projects within the quality check and rebuild so I did not have to wait for subcontractors to come back the next week or have to hire other companies to do. There were a couple of areas where they needed to bust into dry wall and I knew I could trust this company to not "find" additional mold that was not truly there. They never tried to pad their bid, did not find any problems other than what we initially knew about, and minimized the dry wall damage to cut down on rebuild cost. They were always on time, courteous of my home, and put all safety measures into place. I pray I never experience mold in my beloved home again (yes I still love my home and plan to keep it forever), but if I ever need remediation again, Ness will be the only company I contact. All members were so kind and supportive--never made me feel like a number and always made me feel like my job was important. Slow and liars. We were told 3 months at the MOST--well in a few days it'll be 4 months and they still won't communicate a completion date. In that time nobody was here for days on end, with NO communication! We were told all items would be cleaned, checked, and replaced if needed-the cleaning has been done by us they are NOT doing it! This company has shown how horrible they are. We had to have them come back half dozen times to fix the mop board they messed up on. I needed emergency restoration for a crawlspace. After several weeks and adding to the bill and not being truthful to either the insurance company or the adjuster, the adjuster strongly suggested we change restoration companies. We did. After paying NESS almost $5,000 dollars for work that didn't finish the job and causing unnecessary delays because we no longer trusted NES, the second company started from scratch and did the entire job including replacing the insulation that was unnecessarily removed for about an additional two thirds of what NESS charged for not doing the job. I strongly suggest getting second estimate before allowing NESS to start any work on your property, especially if you are senior citizens as their salesperson Andrew used strong arm attics to get the contract signed. read more

I am the executive director for a non-profit organization that needed some plumbing work done. We run on a tight budget so I asked if some of the work might be in the form of an In-Kind donation. They called me back that afternoon and apologized that they could not start until the next day because the parts store was closed. I thought it might take a week for them to decide if they could help or not. They did agree to help that afternoon and the work was finished the next day by noon. No wonder our insurance costs are so high. This company's original bill to our insurance company was very inflated. I spent 3 months and many hours going over it before the 4th and final bill was finally submitted and paid. They charged for many things that they had not done and for equipment that was not used in our home after a water leak in our laundry room. I hired a different company to do the rebuild that was exemplary!!! I do not understand how companies like this stay in business other than people do not spend the time to review the bills and the insurance companies are not there so unable to verify all the work that was done.They kept blaming the problems on the pricing system on the computer. Watch out if you use this company!!!!! I do not recommend them and will advise all my friends not to use them!!! read more

While having a home inspection, we found mold in our attic. I was told Ness was the best in the valley but we'd probably have to pay a bit more for them. They also offer a much longer warranty on their work than anyone else. We had a couple of companies come and bid the work. Just in the inspection, you could tell they were much more professional and knowledgeable than the others. After getting our quotes back they were actually the cheapest too! We wound up using them and they came the next day to do the work and were done in a couple of hours. They came back a couple days later and verified that the work was good. They also supplied before and after pictures so our buyers could be confident the problem was fixed. It looked like nothing ever happened. Some companies paint over the mold as a cheap fix but whatever they did was amazing. I would highly recommend them! read more

So grateful... Ness was exactly what we needed when we needed it. We had brand new floors installed just 24 hours before our house flooded (water line came loose from the fridge) To start, when our house flooded we called at 7:30 AM and the owner was over within an hour. Within 2 hours, there were 2 more guys, within 3 hours, 5 more and within 3 hours there must've been 10+ people in our home ripping up flooring, starting with the fans, and explaining what was happening. I was particularly grateful for Michael, who showed some sympathy, which cannot be overlooked when going through one of the worst things that can happen to your home. Ness handled everything with the insurance company and were constantly attentive to our needs. In fact, we had some very meticulous requests and they attended to every one. Shout out to Michael (again!) for his daily help... He became a friend in this process and we couldn't be more grateful that someone looked after the repairs of our home as if it were his own.
