This Guthrie's presented itself as an option on our way through town and we decided to indulge -- there isn't one where we live and I miss it from living in Tuscaloosa. Currently, this location offers drive through only. We sort of wanted to dine inside just to get out of the car, but it was okay. Prices are reasonable, I think, at around 10 per person. The drive through was a little slow, but we soon learned why -- our food was very fresh! So fresh husband burned the roof of his mouth on a tender, lol. Portions are large, fries were nicely salted, crispy tenders, and really delicious sweet tea. The extra ranch we asked for was also clearly made in house. Yay! The girls working the window were friendly and sweet. Overall, for what it is, Guthrie's is a solid chain and this is a solid representative of said chain. No matter the amount this is still theft, and it is unacceptable. I submitted two complaints after the incident and called the store after hearing nothing. The manger stated they were short staffed that day, but that the worker would be fired or moved to the kitchen if she had one more complaint against her. I asked for the GM to call me, but I never heard from them, and I never received a verbal apology. I did receive an email apology shortly after offering me a free item with my next purchase.
