I brought my vintage Speedmaster to Nesbit's after I dropped it on the cement on unfortunate afternoon. It caused some damage to the bezel and the glass. Honestly, I was crushed. After coming to the realization this happened, I tried to look for a way to get the watch fixed. My first thought was to bring this watch to Omega but after reading Watchuseek, I realized that Nesbit's was a place that people all over the world would send their watches. I think that says a lot that people trust them to fix their valued pieces. In any case, they were able to fix my Speedmaster and were very responsive to my questions. They wanted to make sure that I was happy with the end result and even though I had to point out that there was still 1 thing that I wanted fixed but wasn't, they had no issues with taking it back in and solved the problem. If you are in posession of a very fine watch, Nesbit's is the very best place to take it for service, repairs, cleaning, etc. The company has been run by the same family for close to 100 years. I picked up a link for my dad's Baume & Mercier watch, and was so impressed by their office and lab that I brought my Longines watch in for cleaning and to replace a screw that had gotten lost. Other fine jewelers in the area had told me I would have to mail the watch back to the factory myself for any cleaning or repairs, which of course made me nervous. Nesbit's was happy to handle the cleaning themselves and coordinated the whole process of shipping the watch to the factory and communicating the repair directly with Longines for me, for the same price as the factory would charge. I had them do my recommended maintenance on a Rolex and they were less expensive than Ben Bridge and did all the work in-house without mailing the watch out to some national repair center. I have taken other watches there for quick battery replacements and have been very pleased with the work they do. They are friendly and true experts in what they are doing. Maybe they can change a battery, but they cannot take care of a watch without it. It took them 5 (FIVE!) weeks to replace the crystal of my Omega. Then when they finally did, I complain about an issue with the day dial and they asked for $599 to look into it. What a service! read more

Sent in an Omega Seamaster for a complete overhaul, The turn around took about 6 weeks, a bit longer then originally stated due to an issue getting a special order replacement bezel, but when it arrived I couldn't have been happier with the work that was done. This watch looks flawless, I don't think it would be possible to tell the difference from a new watch sitting right next to it, and mine was looking very rough when I sent it in. I have a OMEGA Sea-Master auto that was in need of a service after 10 years. It sat in a box for 2 years due to poor time.. It was a $490.00 service which I thought was high. But, what is the use of having a great watch if it didn't keep time. I dropped it off & after a week or so they called & said it was done. I drove down to pick it up & the 12 O'clock mark on the bezel was missing, the lumin-dot had fallen out. (it's a tiny round luminescent dot at 12 O'clock position. At any rate they of course replaced the whole dial at no charge. OIt was a wasted of time but they made good on the issue. They also put in a extra link for only $40.00 which is cheap... I think they warranty their service for 3 years.. So, bottom line you can trust them, my watch is now keeping incredible time & looks new after 12 years! Plus they remember you & seem to appreciate your business. Nice people. read more

These guys are great. I live in San Diego and there are lots of watch repair shops around. I took my Omega to one and they could never get it fixed. Then a friend told me about Nesbit's. He swore by them. I almost had the Omega store here in town fix it...but my gut told me to go with Nesbit's. I had them do the full $700 service on it with a few extra repairs that it needed. That was two years ago and the watch has been great, until last month. I sent it back to have them look at it and they reported to me that it might have been dropped and needed a few repairs. My Rolex stopped running about 5 years ago and I had been searching for a repair shop that I could trust. I brought in my 40 year old watch in person and was impressed by the clean, organized workshop. The estimate was accurate and about what I expected, completed on time even with parts on order. They were careful to enquire which components (if any) of the watch I was interested in having polished. On pickup, they provided an itemized invoice and calibration sheet that they were happy to explain. My watch is finally back running and on my wrist. Very happy! I own a 34 year old Omega Speedmaster Professional Chronograph. It had been out of commission for over a decade. I finally decided to have it serviced and repaired, fully knowing it would be a pricy affair. I had heard of Nesbit's and found, to my dismay that it was rather the only game in town for authorized Omega repair and service. I did not need be concerned. as a former wathcmaking student myself, my fears were put to rest by the credentials the Nesbit family have. Mr. Nesbit is a CW 21, a Certified Watchmaker, as are his children. This is the only place to go if you have a fine timepiece that is in need of service or repair. These folks are most helpful, and even though the cost may be a bit steep, taking into consideration the cost of a fine timepiece, it is very well worth it to go to Nesbits for a repair or service. These folks astounded me with the quality, service, knowledge and ability to find parts for a long outdated timepiece. When the Omega Service Center (through the Boutique in San Diego) said they couldn't do basic bracelet maintenance on my vintage Constellation (but were happy to sell me a replacement), Nesbit's said, "No problem, send it to us." I called and asked about getting a deployant clasp for my Hamilton watch. I had asked if they had any in stock but the nice lady who answered said they didn't but I could come in and have them look at it and they would order me the part.
