Jerry has tuned up both of my 1980s vintage mechanical Seiko dive watches. Both keep better time now than when I first bought them. I highly recommend his shop.

Picking up a family heirloom - my grandfather's pocket watch that u believe was his grandfather's. Cleaned and repaired! Thank you Jerry!

Highly recommend this business. Impeccable service and able to service antique time pieces.

Great and timely service! Also easy to find Jerry's office from the lobby since there is a directory and concierge at the front desk. I took my mom's Seiko from '88 to be resized and the battery replaced on a Tuesday afternoon and had my watch back in an hour. The Seiko works just like new and fits perfectly, completely worth the reasonable price of repair. Thank you!

Fixed watch

Incredibly nice guy. He was able to fix my watch face and finally get a new battery in. He even set the time before I picked it up (only a week later! So fast!)

New band, price is right, and Jerry slapped it right on for free with purchase

Second review. Jerry is taciturn, exacting and meticulous. Also the price is right. He's fixed and updated many random watches for me over the last few years. I recommend him highly.

I walked in with a dead watch battery. I walked out with a working watch in 10 mins for a reasonable price. Don't ask just go to Jerry.

Jerry did a great job. Got my Father's 1960 Omega and 1966 Seiko working again. Also replaced the crystals.

Nesbit's Fine Watch Service - Original, 20 years old bracelet refinished. Looks like new.

I spent quite a bit of time researching who I trusted with it and was very lucky to discover that Nesbit's is right here in Seattle. I brought it to them in June. They originally estimated about 12 weeks, and it ultimately took closer to 20 -- but honestly, it was completely worth the wait. I picked it up at the end of September, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The bracelet looks so incredibly clean that, at first, I thought they had replaced it. The new crystal is beautiful, and the case looks fantastic after polishing. They didn't erase every deeper ding, mark, or bit of patina, which I'm actually glad about. Those little imperfections are part of its history and a reminder that this was my grandpa's watch. I want it to look beautiful, but I also want it to still look like the watch he wore. It's running and keeping time better than it has in years. My grandpa wore this watch constantly and apparently never left it with a watchmaker long enough to be properly serviced, so by the time I inherited it, the gaskets had deteriorated and it wasn't running or keeping time well anymore. It really needed the work. The restoration was a significant investment at $1,200 plus tax, but I feel very good about it. I estimate the restoration added at least that much back into the value of the watch, particularly because it preserved all of those beautiful original details. I have absolutely no intention of selling it, though. To me, its real value is that it belonged to my grandpa. Huge thanks to Nesbit's for taking such good care of it. It's beautiful, it's running like it should again, and I feel very lucky to live close enough to have had it restored locally.

I took in a wedding ring crown that has 5 diamonds on it since I had lost one of the diamonds. Upon bringing it in, Josh let me know they could fix it and was already bagging it up without even giving a quote. I then asked for a quote since I'd gotten one from the original maker of the ring. I had let him know the quote he gave which was $390-425 was higher than what they quoted. But ultimately decided I'd rather have it fixed locally than send it out since I didn't want to wait (which I voiced verbally). He took a closer look and said they could do it for $425. I said okay because after shipping costs, it would only be ~$40 more than sending it to the maker. He said okay, and that he'd pick out the diamond today and I'd have it back the following week. 2 full weeks went by before it was ready so I was already a bit annoyed since that was likely the same turn around if I mailed it to the maker! But then when I went to pick it up, the price was $595+tax. I asked why the price difference (and refreshed his memory on our convo at drop off) and he just said okay we can do it for $495. So not only did it take just as long, but in the end after tax I spent over $100 more than what I would have spent if I sent it to the maker.

Jamie is an incredible professional who is clearly passionate not just about his craft, but also in creating relationships with his clients and making sure their experience is second to none. We never once felt rushed or pressured. We were so impressed that I enlisted Jamie's help in repairing my engagement ring which had lost the stone and needed some rebuilding. He was so great at communicating and assisting in my search for a very particular stone while dispensing valuable advice at every turn. Jamie counseled me on the best way to go about the rebuild and I am absolutely in love with the final product. How lucky Seattle is to have such a wonderful jeweler. In addition, Jamie uses the business to give back and create change in the world for the better, which just makes choosing him for your jewelry needs a solid and lovely choice. Baraka Gems will be my only go-to for all jewelry needs in the future. Much gratitude, Jamie & Co.

I have quite a bit of gold and silver from my father's estate that I plan on bringing back to Jamie because I had such a great experience. I'll definitely be going back!
