When the outlet behind my coffee maker started making alarming noises, we shut off the breaker and called our regular electrician. After two hours with no response, we tried another. Still no reply. Meanwhile, the refrigerator was off too, and we were not about to lose all our food. We turned to Yelp. The reviews looked solid, so we called. They answered right away. A few minutes later, we got a text saying Daniel was on his way and would arrive in 16 minutes. And he did. We described the issue, he inspected the outlet, and removed the cover. The receptacle was cracked in five places, with melted and burned plastic. It was a dangerous mess that could have turned into a serious problem. Daniel replaced it, flipped the breaker, and everything came back to life. No more crackling. Coffee maker working. Fridge humming again. We are very happy with the service and have added Johnathon Brown Electric to our go-to list. If we have another electrical issue, they will be our first call. So not wanting to deal with another electrician I did a bit of work myself which of course led to some issues I couldn't figure out. Was told that Martins is good, but no,, they were OUTSTANDING !!! They found my issues were coming from the install of the box that the first guy didn't tighten down the neutrals, so that was causing the short to happen. They then went over the work I did to ensure it was to code AND they went thru the entire house checking the switches for loose neutrals, which they found a bunch as well. Their attitude was so great, that they were here to help me and I didn't get that feeling of being talked down to, like I got from the other place. HIGHLY recommend them. OUTSTANDING employee's with a great attitude and they treat you right ! oh, and Chris ( I assume the foreman) called 30 mins after his guys left to FOLLOW UP to be sure I was ok with the work they had done. They did everything from replacing/upgrading an electrical panel for one of our tenants to rewiring a 9,000 sq ft basement for amp-intensive business use. Mr. Adams even came out mid-summer on an hour's notice to assess a broken A/C. He identified the issue within minutes (it was a bad capacitor) and charged us for just that. Such levels of competence and honesty are extremely rare in this day & age. We now trust only this company with our building's wiring and heating / cooling.
