Dealerships were unable to repair the problem, parts needed for the repair were unavailable. The highly recommended shop next door to Holland sniffed my truck and decided the job was not worth doing. Holland however was willing to give the old truck a chance. Over a period of 3 months Holland checked all leads, analyzed and tested the entire brake system, and finally fixed my brakes. If they can fix my trucks problem, you should have no doubt that they can take care of your vehicles problem. Labor charges are typical for mechanic shops but you will never be charged an hour for 15 minutes of labor. If their repair is warrantied and their initial repair is inadequate (as mine was) rest assured that the warranty will be honored even if Holland needs to give another week of free labor or travel to the ends of the earth to obtain the necessary parts. I would especially like to thank Trevor, Hiro, and Chris all of them master mechanics who collaborated to help me. I give my highest possible recommendation for Holland Service.

So, first Yelp review. I guess Mike seems to get business because he is a "Nice guy". Well he…read morescamming con artist lazy shyster. These ppl are straight up crooks. Mike and his "team" should be doing anything but this line of work. I'm honestly not even sure if Mike knows the first thing about cars. I bought a used 1992 Ford F-250 and I instantly called around to see what mechanics worked on old Fords. After calling a few ppl who didn't I called some local places and found Mike who seemed happy to check my truck out. I asked specifically for a tune up so he could check my oil, transmission fluid, etc. I told him my brakes seemed awfully soft and my check engine light was on as well. He ended up only checking my brakes and my check engine light and not doing anything a mechanic would normally do for a tune up, unbeknownst to me. My car truck ended up being there for a week. He quoted the brake fix at just under 500 dollars. This turned into just under 800 dollars. Nothing changed with the brakes. Nothing. I go back within the month cause it's under warranty for 3 months and the he tells me it must be the master brake cylinder, which he says is in under the hood and therefore not covered under the warranty. I also explain the truck is not accelerating properly and mention the transmission again. He or one of his workers gets in and again assures me it's fine, all the while knowing I am picking up a 12,000lb 5th wheel, attaching it to my truck and driving to Oregon the next day. 3 hours into my trip white smoke starts billowing out of my exhaust pipe. I immediately freak out thinking it's a head gasket issue and pull over. My partner and I chill for an hour and get back in. Everything is going fine when all of a sudden my car won't move in drive AT ALL. I am so lucky I was on a hill and was able to roll onto an off ramp. I call a local mechanic and they say it was definitely the transmission. I call Mike as well and he bumbles mumbles some bullshit. Mike your shop claims to be TRANSMISSION SPECIALISTS! LOLOLOLOL! Sooo my partner has to help me pay 4000 dollars to replace a transmission that if I had known the week prior I would have scrapped and gotten a new truck. You guys are messing with ppls lives and their safety. Stop.

They are very responsive, reasonable and complete the repair in a timely manner. Thank you!read more
