We have a 98 year old retail space on Mission St. with an iron door in the sidewalk. The door was developing tiny holes due to rust and we didn't want it to get worse. David cut out the rusty section, removed the handle, then put the handle on a new piece of metal and welded it in place. Fantastic to work with.

The electrician…read morenoted that I had a protective plate missing on the load center and we would likely not pass inspection. After putting a request out on Yelp for small metal fabrication job, David called me almost immediately. He was able to look at pictures of the panel and we agreed on a fair price. David came out the following day and immediately got to work. The result was better that I expected - the piece of metal he fabricated looks like it was always meant to be there. I'm extremely satisfied and no longer worried about the upcoming inspection. I have no hesitation in recommending David for any fabrication and welding work!

The not so good?!?! Older fella came out and he didn't seem too happy to be here. He also had a hard time conveying any design ideas and requirements clearly. He had Hispanic accent which I am no stranger too. (I've worked and managed hundreds of Hispanic folk over the years) We finally came to some design and construction details but I felt like I was given a take it or leave it handrail solution. He didn't offer any other constructive solutions unlike another company I was also trying to get a quote from He did throw a price out there before leaving. So with that rough start I decided not to work any further with them. Too bad Oh well. I give them 3 stars for just not putting the best foot forward?

They did not fix it. They also made hand rails for my stairs and that was another disaster. The railings had three code violations. I ended up hiring a different iron company to make me new hand rails. Terrible quality, low price, I will never use them again.

He came to us with samples of all his railings. Being able to see the finished product helped us decide what style we wanted. Later on, he came out to measure multiple times--before and after the floors were down--to make sure everything was perfect. He matched the wood to our floor in to help create a seamless look. He was super careful when he installed them not to damage any of the new construction. Everything came out perfectly. The glass railings look beautiful and well worth the investment. I would highly recommend Joey.
